Calamari Fritti

Our first trip to Staten Island we were curious to try Tutto Apposto since we have seen all the owners videos on Instagram It lived up to our expectations! We went on a quiet Tuesday at 2:30 to avoid crowds and we were very pleased The ambiance is nice, but I can see how it would be very loud with a full restaurant Our server Roberto was the best !! He made recommendations and took such good care of us we felt like family He's definitely Five !! The calamari was so fresh and delicious! My meal (I tried something new). Photo attached. Pasta was perfectly al dente. My drink was even amazing. Although we live in N Jersey we will definitely return Everyone loved their meals

So came here last week for dinner . I like the esthetic of this restaurant. It's super cute for a fun date or girls night out. Place was pretty empty the night we dined there. They have open kitchen concept. Nice bar, guy making pizza. We sat down the staff were really attentive. All the food sounded delicious. We started with Arancini, also a positano salad has two cheeses, arugula, roasted peppers and we topped it with salmon. For mains we had Malfadine with a short rib ragu So couple things. Portions are tremendous. Def not a bad thing. Rice balls were moist but not much flavor overall. Salad was good again tremendous. Way too much onions for my taste. the dressing was delicious. The salmon i don't know, it was dry and it was like breaded/ seasoned. It was a big piece but thin. The macaroni dish again was def shareable and this really could have been a real star dish but the macaroni was extremely over cooked and way over sauced like swimming! The sauce was lacking flavor and there wasn't much short rib. I noticed a few hygiene faux pas going on here. Which I hope will be ironed out. Also, the owner walked in and selectively went over to a select few tables and not others to ask how dinner was. Weird.. some people better than others in your restaurant ? I know they are only open a few months so I will def give it a while and maybe check back. Parking is HORRENDOUS!!

Very friendly service. Food was very good but was a little pricey for what you get. Been to other location. Ordered a glass of merlot. 13.50. WOW. overall not bad but very expensive. Been to other location. Panni grill which was not as expensive and food was very good.

We went here for brunch yesterday. The place is very clean. The waitress was very nice and she really knew her menu. I was so shocked how she just spat out all those options and very confident as well. The food was mediocre. Love the fact you can see the kitchen. That takes some heck of confidence to expose that to your customers. If someone brought me back there I wouldn't be mad but I don't think I would go out of my way to eat there. The waitress and cleanliness is what gives this place 4 stars. The food is 3.

Oh, the eternal quest to find the perfect dinner spot. Decisions, Decisions. This time our culinary compass pointed to Tutto Apposto, a fresh face in the dining scene and let me tell you it was a jackpot! We were greeted with smiles and brought to our table right away. The place was spacious and beautifully decorated. Our server Ivan was a Rockstar- very attentive and armed with a run down of today's specials that had our mouths watering. We kicked things off with one of the specials. Foccacia bread topped with a dreamy combo of arugula, juicy peaches, prosciutto, burrata and a balsamic glaze that tied it all together. Each bite was a flavor party! For the main event I went for the Chilean Sea Bass, perfectly seared and placed a top of risotto and spinach, so filling. My husband opted for the gamberi oregenata and wow those shrimp, bursting with flavor. We had an Italian cheesecake for dessert. The best part was meeting the owner Anthony, whose genuine warmth and passion for his restaurant made us feel at home. Between the service, the food and owners hospitality this place earned a permanent spot on our dining list. We will be back.

Food was prepared very well and servings were plentiful. The service was excellent ;very attentive. Ambiance can be described as vibrant, yet laid back and able to have a conversation with your companion. Would definitely return .

Third visit and best yet. Cliche to say but wife and I had best pasta dish ever!!!! Homemade Tagliatelle pasta in a zucchini sauce with ricotta, potato pizza special and Arugula salad. Staff was great and attentive and atmosphere was old world and great. Great date night spot and will definitely be back for another visit.

While running errands in Edison I convinced my wife to check Anchors out. Read! I read in one of…read morethe New Jersey articles that this place was a tiki bar, so I was excited to try it out. Upon getting there, it is a nice Marina bar that has a grave a lot. We walked shortly from the parking lot and got seats of the bar right away. There was a good amount of people there for a Saturday afternoon. However, we were helped right away. Their beer prices are pretty phenomenal in my opinion. The selection I think is pretty good too. We were speaking with one of the people behind the bar and they said the plan is to also have food trucks here eventually as well for a food option. There is ample seating here as you can see from some of the pictures I took and the two staff we talked to were very friendly. One thing that could be a pro or a con depending on your disposition is that this is an outdoor bar. There are a lot of fans going and it has a very nice breeze. How over on a hot day where something loose and breathable. However, in the spring and fall I can imagine this place having a big crowd because it seems like a really nice place to have a drink and hang out. All in all. If you're local, I would definitely come check this place out. We will definitely be back in the future.

Nestled in downtown Woodbridge NJ, this steakhouse is located inside of an old bank! I already knew before entering it was gonna be beautiful! We were greeted by the hostess and owner of the restaurant. They immediately said happy anniversary to us and escorted us upstairs to our table. As i thought this restaurant is stunning. Sexy dim lighting, beautiful chandelier and candelabras adorned the bigger tables. The space is huge. High ceilings and even an elevator. I couldnt resist snapping pics of the aged meat behind the glass. Every detail in this restaurant is intentional. Our waitress Danya was the sweetest!!!! She was so attentive and took time to explain the menu. She checked on us the entire evening. She didnt miss a beat. Even saw that my fork had some dishwashing spots and went to get me another. For the food, we started with fried calamari and crabcakes which were both outstanding! We ordered cocktails which was old fashioned and a bay breeze made perfectly. The main course is the reason u come here! We ordered the porterhouse for two with the truffle mac and Brussels sprouts. Steak has a really nice flavor! I didnt like the truffle mac but the brussel sprouts were delicious!! We were def full but our wonder waitress insisted on a celebratory ice cream with a sparkling candle. It was very nice! Before we left the owner came up to ask how everything was. He was a cool guy and told us a bit about the restaurant and his future expansion happening! I love that he said he use to come to the bank with his parents as a kid and now he owns a restaurant in the space....full circle moment. We truly enjoyed our time here! Thank u for making our Anniversary dinner so special. We will for sure be returning. I have to try the snapper next time!!!

From what I've heard, it usually gets packed during peak sports seasons--but we happened to hit a lull (post-football, pre-baseball, and no major games on), so we basically had the place to ourselves. That actually worked in our favor--the quieter atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy conversation without the usual sports bar chaos. Drinks were a highlight. I went with the sangria, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Instead of ordering full entrees, we decided to share a bunch of appetizers. Everything that came out looked great, and everyone in the group seemed really happy with the flavors. As someone with a gluten allergy, though, I was pretty limited in what I could order. The ribs ended up being one of my only real options--but thankfully, they were tender, flavorful, and definitely the standout for me. Still, I do wish there were more gluten-free choices, especially since we were there to celebrate and share food. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was that we felt a bit rushed toward the end of the meal. We didn't even get the chance to order a birthday dessert, which was disappointing given the occasion, but seeing since it was only our group there I'm sure they were ready to close and go home. Service overall was attentive and friendly while we were dining, so no complaints there otherwise. It was winter when we visited, but I can see this being a great spot in warmer months--the outdoor seating looks like it would really add to the experience. Parking was easy on a Sunday night, and they do have a lot, but make sure to read the signs carefully since some spots are reserved for the theater next door. Overall it has a great vibe, solid drinks, and food that people clearly enjoy--I just wish there were more gluten-free options so I didn't leave still a little hungry.

I didn't see much space for huge parties but be mindful and make the reservation in advance. Went for an early dinner at around 6:00ish and was seated immediately. Service was on point. Now for the food. The seasoning was immaculate. We did try the griot app (not pictured) and it was very flavorful. The Rasta pasta dish was seasoned appropriately and provided a comfortable heat. If you are used to typical heat of pikliz then you may find the spice level was at a mild level which paired nicely with the passion 75. The drink tasted more like a spin on a mimosa but I was wish the passionfruit was from the fruit to bring in the tartness - still good. The cheesecake was pretty standard. The glaze on top balanced out the creaminess well.

A few of my guests are very familiar with Haitian cuisine, so we were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed when we arrived because there was no customized/pre-booked menu prepared for our party as discussed beforehand. When I asked about it, I was told they were unsure what happened and no menus had been printed. Because of that, I had to ask the server to verbally explain the dinner selections and sides to everyone. Now for the food: The Ou La wings were delicious, and the crab cakes were excellent so flavorful and moist. We are familiar with soup bouillon, but unfortunately this version was not enjoyable to us. It had a very tangy taste that seemed off. For entrées, the griot was served with diri djon djon, fried plantains, and broccolini. The griot itself was good, but the plantains were fried extremely hard. This entrée was also supposed to come with salad russe, but that was missing. The salmon was delicious overall, although a few guests felt it was very dry. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were good. I also asked for pikliz, which was excellent and had the perfect kick to it. The drinks were definitely delicious and strong. Dessert was another disappointment because the crème brûlée I had pre-booked was unavailable. I ended up trying the carrot cake and almond toasted cake, which were okay. I will say our server was very sweet and attentive throughout the night. The restaurant itself was also nice and clean. However, the food took quite a while to come out, especially for a dinner that had been pre-planned in advance. Overall, there were just too many hiccups for an event that was booked ahead of time. While there were some enjoyable dishes and good service, I personally would not recommend this place for a large party or special pre-planned event.

I played it safe, I thought, and ordered the mixed veggie salad with salmon. The salad was a pathetic array of about 6 Boston lettuce leaves and then an inordinate amount of sloppily sliced red onions, way too many capers, and drowned in a tasteless vinegarette all served on a huge platter. Maybe a nice place to grab a happy hour drink ...but too much competition for food in the area to dine here.
