Angelina's is a cute relatively new place in Woodbridge. It's a very cute vibe with a great outdoor dining area. Unfortunately I feel like they focus so much on the aesthetic that the actual food and service falls to the wayside. The menu felt a bit limited and everything we tried was just decent. The service also left room for improvement. We were constantly trying to find our waitress and it took forever to even place our orders. I would give it another try but not for a major event. Maybe just for a midday lunch or drink with a friend.

A large venue that sits in its own lot, so plenty of free parking. Bright modern glass interior. Friendly staff, the owner, Angelina herself came over and spoke with us. Such a sweet Woman. Service was just the right speed, food was well prepared and well presented. We had the Arancini & Potato Croquettes & the Bee Sting (pizza). Everything was great. Had an apple martini at the bar, perfectly prepared. Definitely worth the the trip and would come back. Grades: Arancini & Potato Croquettes: B Bee Sting: A Apple Martini: A

Short and simple: good pizza, but not worth the price point. We visited on a Tuesday with a party of 6 for a birthday. We got seated immediately and the ambiance was quite welcoming! The service was good and so was the pizza - the sheet pie was better than the regular in our opinion. Service was good, but food did take a while to come out so something to be mindful about if you're on a time constraint!

They offer authentic Sicilian dishes and have a bar. Perfect atmosphere for a family, Night out with friends or a date night. There's a large bar, high tops and many tables in the back. There are plenty of options on the cocktail list. We had a hard time deciding but we all enjoyed what we got. The fragolina was not too sweet. We went with the octopus salad, One cold and one hot, Carozza, and a green salad. Everything was very flavorful. I ordered the wild boar pasta. The meat was tender and the sauce was just the right amount of tomato and meat. We finished our meal with tiramisu and the warm chocolate cake. I'm sure everything would have been delicious.

Ambiance was classy, went here on a double date and it fit the vibe. The service was average, although credit for handling everyone's dietary restrictions and letting us stay till they closed. My friend is gluten free and loved the gluten free pasta and pizza. I on the other hand loved the regular mushroom sausage pasta as well - it was unique and delicious. The regular crust margarita pizza was average or not as memorable.

Stopped in for lunch at Angelina's in Woodbridge. And it was amazing. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. They have a full bar lots of cocktails to choose from, plenty of seating, outdoor too. What an awesome vibe. Jasmine our server was fantastic. She was super attentive. The meatball appetizer was hot and delicious. Needed a little more sauce but was still tasty. Ordered a Rustica pizza: fior di latte mozzarella, tomato sauce, pork sausage, spicy soppresata & mushrooms, WOW the picture does it no justice. Will definitely go back and highly recommend if you're in the area.

My first time here and I can't wait to come back! Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the server made great recommendations since it was our first time. Nice for a date night or dinner with friends. Some of my favorites were the spicy vodka gnocchi, montanara fritta, and the frittura di calamari.

Heyyyyyyyyy you guyyyyyyyyys! Stopped in for a quick bite and had a dirty tini while I waited. Ordered a margarita pizza with garlic oil. Mixology was good, bartender was friendly. The decor is so warm, inviting, outdoor seating available. Staff is friendly and welcoming! Overall great, good eats and will def be back.

I've had the opportunity to dine at Angelina's twice--once at a table and once at the bar. The food on both occasions was great. The pastas, in particular, were fantastic, and they definitely don't skimp on the cheese. The pizza was a little underdone for my liking, but that would have been my only complaint. I found the service to be better when seated at a table compared to the bar, but overall, both experiences were enjoyable.

My mom and I came to Angelina's Kitchen late on a Wednesday night after traveling and needing some delicious sustenance. They close at 10, we arrived at 9. You will get the bare minimum of service at some places when you come an hour before closing, but everyone we came across at Angelina's was friendly and attentive. We received service with a smile at every turn. The decor here is really soothing, modern but has an old school flair, lots of greenery (fake, but that's understandable and If you don't look too hard you can convince yourself otherwise). It reminds me of the style California has been doing for years but is comparatively new on the east coast. The food! Well, when the complimentary bread came out it looked so special I thought for sure it was our appetizer. The bread was good, like a foccacia type, but wasn't very flavorful. It's served with a little ball of ricotta but again, a bit bland. I would have preferred some salted butter or seasoned olive oil to put on it, but hey, it's complimentary so they can do whatever they want and I'll eat it! Our actual appetizer was the Montanara Frita- which is basically a fried ball of dough with prosciutto, and stracciatella cheese melted over top with a drizzle of honey... this was like a carnival! The fried dough and slight sweetness reminiscent of a zeppole but then you had the savory elements... it sounds strange but I promise you it's magnificent. The pasta is homemade and you can tell- it's the perfect texture. I ordered the Busiata Norma I love a good Norma pasta (red sauce with roasted eggplant) and it did not disappoint. Mom got pollo caprese a nice simple dish of pan fried chicken cutlets, fresh cherry tomatoes and burrata. They achieved the ultimate crispness with this chicken and it was seasoned to perfection. The burrata ball that came with the dish was on the smaller side, so a little less creamy than expected. Overall we really enjoyed our meals and thought it was well run. I know a lot can change from day to night. I wonder if some of the more negative reviews are for issues that are occurring during peak times that will be ironed out as the restaurant settles in. I also hear a lot of people saying it's pricey, but honestly you could tell when you are dining there that the food you are eating is top quality and much of it is handmade like the pasta and special doughs. I'll be back for more!

Peach Bellini Martini and Tuna Tartare

Today I stopped in to check out the new Angelina's kitchen in Woodbridge New Jersey. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and has the perfect Italian music playing in the background. Everyone there was very friendly and inviting. I chose to just have a small knish at the bar and I chose very well! Pedro recommended the peach martini, which were quite different, was very refreshing. An excellent summer cocktail! Then I chose to have a tuna tartare. The tuna was amazingly fresh, citrus, marinated, placed on an avocado bed. I will go back this weekend for dinner with my family and will update my review.

The place is gorgeous, for starters. Great full menu with a huge wine selection and fun drinks. Service was spot on... Now the main attraction. The pizza was excellent. The sauce was a drop sweet just as I like it. Great mozzarella. Perfectly matched with the sauce. The crust was amazing.. All together the 4 varieties I tried, one was better than the other. Being a real pizza lover, I'm not offended by Neopolitan style pizza. Yes, it's different than NY pie which I grew up on, but it's still soooo delicious. The flop or no flop doesn't really matter, two different pies. I'll never turn either away. The minestrone soup was as good as the one I make at home. Can't wait to go back and try what else they've got cooking here.. All in all, I'm going back. Maybe tomorrow cause I cant stop thinking about it! The pasta wasn't mine but the person who ordered it raved about it!

    Bee sting pizza

I don't think I even have to write a description to tell you how bad this was. The picture shows it all! To start, the "bee sting" was $30. I could tell when it was set on the table it was going to be a soupy mess. It was so wet that all the toppings slid right off revealing the undercooked crust underneath. You can see the puddles in the first photo! Horrible pizza, probably one of the worst I've ever had.

From what I've heard, it usually gets packed during peak sports seasons--but we happened to hit a lull (post-football, pre-baseball, and no major games on), so we basically had the place to ourselves. That actually worked in our favor--the quieter atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy conversation without the usual sports bar chaos. Drinks were a highlight. I went with the sangria, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Instead of ordering full entrees, we decided to share a bunch of appetizers. Everything that came out looked great, and everyone in the group seemed really happy with the flavors. As someone with a gluten allergy, though, I was pretty limited in what I could order. The ribs ended up being one of my only real options--but thankfully, they were tender, flavorful, and definitely the standout for me. Still, I do wish there were more gluten-free choices, especially since we were there to celebrate and share food. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was that we felt a bit rushed toward the end of the meal. We didn't even get the chance to order a birthday dessert, which was disappointing given the occasion, but seeing since it was only our group there I'm sure they were ready to close and go home. Service overall was attentive and friendly while we were dining, so no complaints there otherwise. It was winter when we visited, but I can see this being a great spot in warmer months--the outdoor seating looks like it would really add to the experience. Parking was easy on a Sunday night, and they do have a lot, but make sure to read the signs carefully since some spots are reserved for the theater next door. Overall it has a great vibe, solid drinks, and food that people clearly enjoy--I just wish there were more gluten-free options so I didn't leave still a little hungry.

Sexy dim lighting, beautiful chandelier and candelabras adorned the bigger tables. The space is huge. High ceilings and even an elevator. I couldnt resist snapping pics of the aged meat behind the glass. Every detail in this restaurant is intentional. Our waitress Danya was the sweetest!!!! She was so attentive and took time to explain the menu. She checked on us the entire evening. She didnt miss a beat. Even saw that my fork had some dishwashing spots and went to get me another. For the food, we started with fried calamari and crabcakes which were both outstanding! We ordered cocktails which was old fashioned and a bay breeze made perfectly. The main course is the reason u come here! We ordered the porterhouse for two with the truffle mac and Brussels sprouts. Steak has a really nice flavor! I didnt like the truffle mac but the brussel sprouts were delicious!! We were def full but our wonder waitress insisted on a celebratory ice cream with a sparkling candle. It was very nice! Before we left the owner came up to ask how everything was. He was a cool guy and told us a bit about the restaurant and his future expansion happening! I love that he said he use to come to the bank with his parents as a kid and now he owns a restaurant in the space....full circle moment. We truly enjoyed our time here! Thank u for making our Anniversary dinner so special. We will for sure be returning. I have to try the snapper next time!!!
