Found this place on tiktok. My friend and I were looking for a brunch place in the middle since shes in Crown Heights and Im in jersey. The Oreo waffle convinced her. Parking is street parking. With all the snow, parking was more difficult I believe. The place isn't huge but the vibe was spot on. Our server was top tier. We sat down and both remarked we needed water. He already had it ready to leave at the table while he was taking care of another table. To drink I had The Hideaway and my friend had the Mimo-Spirtz. To eat I got the Cajun Shrimp and Cheesy Gritz. She got the Oreo waffle, a side of bacon and eggs. I also got the Fried Cinnamon Bun for dessert. I asked our server to surprise me with a drink. He gave me the Toasted Almond. Very nice decor inside. Two seating areas. Came for lunch on a weekday as we were the only ones there. Service was great. Staff was great and had recommendations. Fried Zucchini 10/10 Fried Calamari 08/10 (can't really get this wrong) Hazelnut Espresso Martini with Baileys 6/10. (Didn't really get any hazelnut flavor from it except the little hazelnut crunch that was a topping, wasn't a fan of the foam, but under all that it was delish) We both ordered Cesar Salads one with chicken and one with avocado. Random Friday night date with my husband let me tell you surprised is my instant reaction. It's a small intimate restaurant which is great I don't like places where the music is so loud and everything is so loud you have to yell to hear each other. The service was great I think it was the manager was constantly walking around asking if everyone was ok if they needed anything . He was even taking orders and making drinks and running food ! Great job on their service . Let's get to the food ! The food is very wholesome it gives you the vibe that your at a grandparents house our a friends house ! I ordered a strawberry field salad added lobster on top Man was that delicious with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing I'm drooling writing this lol . My husband ordered the crusted pork chop it was huge the Brussels sprouts and the sauce they are made in *chefs kiss* . Stuffed Mac and cheese bites for me was just ok I didn't really enjoy them but my husband loved it. Cheesy cornbread was so good i ordered one to go ! I always save room for dessert I ordered a homemade apple pie with the ice cream of the month which was cookie and cream it came with a maple bourbon syrup omg lets just say I wanted to order a whole pie to take home. Dude, Ariella's was off the charts. It's our new go to place. First pic is a drink. lol can't remember the name but look at how stunning it is and it tasted as good as it looks. Second pic is that drink and Jen, my wife. Third pic was a soup trio sampler of tomato, onion and broccoli soups and the other is a bang bang shrimp. Sooo good. What a great idea for a soup sampler. Next drink was called the butterfly Jen and her butterfly drink. Next picture is my dinner which was a linguine Alfredo with twin lobster tails and six perfectly grilled shrimp covered in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Behind that is Jen's dish which is a Cajun chicken and Cajun shrimp pasta dish. Both dishes were plentiful and delicious. And we ended with two dessert drinks one which was a deconstructed tiramisu, and the other was a Reese's pieces chocolate martini. Everything was delicious. My only knock would be the lobster tails were slightly over salted, But not where i can say anything or lessen the rating. The owner, Billy, Was tending the bar and making all the drinks. He took time to chat with us and was extremely friendly. His front of the house greeter/seater/server, Danny, was also very nice and offered recommendations to us. That dude was working hard. Decided to try a place I've never been on Staten Island. Ariella's nestled on new Dorp lane, who would've known. Nice decore with hints of black and white colors. Service was good and attentive. We ordered the calamari and burrata which was very good. I had the lobster BLT which had a good chunk of lobster. And we had the salmon which was also very good. Ariella's restaurant is what I hope every other restaurant would strive to become; after hearing about our imperfect experience, they took our criticism to heart and drastically improved everything we critiqued. This time around, the buffalo chicken dip was juicy and tender, which is evident in the picture! It's the perfect appetizer that I can imagine eating while watching the Super Bowl; it was flavorful, tender, creamy, and the amount of shredded chicken was plentiful. The coffee-rubbed ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare this time, and paired with their soy glazed Brussel sprouts was the definition of perfection. This experience is what I always knew Ariella's restaurant is capable of, ever since our first time dining with them. Not only did they surpass our expectations, but they also respected our voice and took the steps to perfect their minor imperfections, exemplary of what exquisite dining looks like. We look forward to coming back to try the many more new additions to their ever evolving menu! Definitely give them a try and I promise you won't regret it! On line search yielded this gem down new Dorp lane south of Hylan. We were looking for hamburger perhaps and discovered an eclectic assortment of yummy and interesting food choices. The ambience is clean, colorful with a dark wood and rich deep purple theme. Scattered about the walls are many pictures, paintings and shelves with sundry items of interest. Wooden tables with one continuous wall side black padded bench and regular wood chairs. To the right of the entrance is a well stocked bar nicely mood lit. The dining area divided by a wall with wide openings to glance between the two. We forgo the appetizers but split a nice sized beet salad with arugula, beets, and a honey drizzled dressing. It was delicious. Soft and savory goat cheese was amply crumbled throughout. It was simple but pleasing. For the mains, my wife devoured the lobster role on thick pillowy toast with a spicy aioli dressing enhancing the bacon which worked well with the chunky and plentiful lobster. I had a bite and was surprised at the combo. Richly flavored but not overwhelming. Comes with fries cooked expertly without a greasy feel. I decided on the skirt steak sandwich served with a dressing on a chibata toast which appeared heavy but to my delight pressed effortlessly between my fingers in springy goodness. The meat was tender and savory and there was plenty of it. The sweet potato fries were great. Again, not greasy. Somehow there was room to split a dessert and we opted for our server recommended tiramisu. Gently chilled and rummy yummy. Not too big and came with an extra dollop of whipped cream, possibly home made. Terry, our server, was engaging and respectful. We are certain to return. They have a three course brunch every Tuesday-Friday listed for $20 bucks. Hard to beat. We walked on a $78 bill plus cash tip. Reasonable enough. read more

Cute little spot in new dorp serving up some delicious food. Started with their appetizer special of mac and cheese balls- my toddler loved it! Came with about 6 in a skillet covered in a yummy cheese sauce. For our entrees, we went with their specials again- Ariella's pasta that came with two lobster tails and 4 big shrimp, smothered in a garlic rosemary sauce served with a garlic and oil spaghetti and Chicken New dorp, which was their take on a chicken cordon bleu. Great food and good brunch menu with unique meals that take a twist on foods that make it even better, I ordered chicken and waffles and it was great, had a lot of food, tender chicken and fluffy waffles. Went with hubby. Drinks were a specialty margarita (meh) and red sangria which was not red. I wouldn't order that specialty margarita again. Ambience is gorgeous and service is perfect. Small menu with a variety of food types. App was the fried calamari with a garlic mayo. Small portion. We shared a cob salad with skirt steak and a side of garlic mashed and a side of Mac n cheese. Steak was fantastic, cooked perfectly. Salad was small and came dressed with a Dijon vinaigrette which was delicious! But I'd ask for dressing in the side because the greens were too delicate for the dressing so the whole thing became mushy halfway through. Garlic mashed was silky and delicious and the mac n cheese was so yummy cheesy creamy! And the pasta was still al dente yum!! I'll def be back. I think those black paper napkins could be changed out to a linen napkin for a more upscale feel to match everything else. read more
