We sat down and both remarked we needed water. He already had it ready to leave at the table while he was taking care of another table. To drink I had The Hideaway and my friend had the Mimo-Spirtz. To eat I got the Cajun Shrimp and Cheesy Gritz. She got the Oreo waffle, a side of bacon and eggs. I also got the Fried Cinnamon Bun for dessert. I asked our server to surprise me with a drink. Service was great, the hostess and our server Matt were so warm and professional, Matt answered all of our questions and gave excellent service. The food and cocktails were delicious. I had the Chicken and waffles, served hot and the chicken had a nice crunch, I also had to have the Sally's French toast with Unicorn sugar, yes, I said Unicorn sugar! My drink was coconut caramel latte from the adult iced coffees menu. So delicious. The bartender was summoned when we ordered some wine and a nicely crafted smoked old fashioned. We preferred fried shrimp which was uniquely prepared with garlic soy and toasted sesame seeds. These and the chimichurri lamb chips were absolutely delicious. The server and bartender who took care of of us at the bar were delightful. Drinks were extremely expensive. A vodka seltzer was priced at $19 for the vodka plus an additional charge for seltzer, and a vodka soda was similarly priced with an added $4 charge for Sprite. For a restaurant connected to a pizzeria, I would never expect to pay ~$23 for a drink. While the meal was enjoyable, the value was not there. I can find dishes like Fra Diavolo at any other restaurants without paying $65. Overall, although the food was good, the service, atmosphere, and pricing made the experience feel disappointing and overpriced.

The fries were good but nothing to run back for. The hookah was just okay. We ordered a premium flavor, but there was nothing premium about it. At times, it got very harsh and tasted very ashy. They are very attentive though and come around often to ensure the coal is still active and the hookah is pulling properly.
