I placed and order on Uber Eats which is pricey to begin with and the menu said VEGAN cauliflower crust pizza-- I cannot eat regular cheese and what they sent was a regular cheese pizza which I accidentally took a bite out trusting that what they have on the menu is correct! I knew right away by the smell and taste it wasn't vegan! I called and some RUDE woman pretended she could not hear me and put me on HOLD never got back to me just left me there! I tried calling back and I was ignored no one picked up the phone! I will NEVER order from there again or recommend this place to anyone I know ! I would have been a very good loyal customer seeing as there aren't many vegan accommodations in my area!! Completely disgusted and sorry I ever placed this order! Came here for Halloween and this place was poppin! Great atmosphere with the main bar/dance area. In the back there is another bar with another open area for dancing or lounging. They have an open rooftop area located in the far back as well. This spot is definitely a place to hangout and get your groove on. read more

Went to this dive sports bar last week for a friend's birthday. The food portions were generous, but not that good. The DJ played good music, but when the game was on the TV noise level was ridiculously and unnecessarily loud. This place does NOT check for COVID vaccinations - a big no-no! The place became extremely crowded quickly and the staff didn't wear masks, was eating food in front of us and not washing their hands before serving us- very unsanitary during regular times, especially unsanitary during a pandemic. I felt very unsafe, but I guess the locals and staff couldn't care less. They do have an outdoor patio, but once it gets cold I'm not sure if that will be an option. read more

So during the pandemic its hard to find a restaurant you haven't ordered from a million times. That's were the District comes in handy Its a relaunch of the old Play bar, Refreshed and with a New Menu. I have been coming here since it was Play. The bartenders are great, particularly Lauren who is downright hilarious, makes wonderful drinks and knows her customers well. The other bartenders are good too, and always friendly. The place is a crowded bar at night, so if you are looking for a local vibe, you'll get it. LOTS of local! My suggestion is if you want a drink or two and some wings and that is it because you are riding solo and just want to unwind after work, do that before 7:30/8pm. Leave it to the young and fun people after that. Things i love about the new concept - a WAY improved outdoor experience, transitioning from a back yard to a legitimate top-tier outdoor space. The food was never bad, but I like the new additions to the menu as well. The only knock I have is with the new concept, not as many Ranger players swing by anymore. I get it ... new concept, and the Rangers haven't been all that great the last few years, with this year being an exception. But hey, if they can fit that in every once in a while I don't think anyone would get mad! (Yes, I'm being totally selfish here. Waited for someone to greet us at the door for at least 10-15 minutes because for some reason the bartender looked at us and didn't notify anyone a customer was there. Unfortunately the back that's decorated in holiday lights was being used for a party so we sat indoors. Both of our drinks were good. We ordered the beef empanadas which were great. They came out right away but after that we were waiting a good while for our entrees. He got the steak frites and said he liked it. Really good wings! They used to have a Buffalo chicken salad in a taco shell that was amazing. They have a lot of different choices on the menu. Great late night spot to hang out. Drink prices are a little high but they have specials on certain nights. Crowd is younger on the weekends. They always have a dj and recently some bands. He surely understands the importance of quality food - sweet Thai calamari and bacon Mac&cheese - hit the perfect elements of satisfaction and scrumptious. Management and the service was helpful with our request for vegan options (delicious cauliflower pizza) and we were pleasantly surprised to find out they cater! Can't wait to have them for my next backyard party. Atmosphere was friendly with a laid back "social" vibe. Finally, the gorgeous orange hue of their bubbly bourbon aperol cocktail Agent X was the perfect kickstart to our dinner party. Came here in August 2019 after being turned away by Richmond Republic for outdoor dining. Apparently the city has so many rules in place on operating and seating hours if the dining area is street front or behind the venue. We called and made a reservation. They were very in tuned with practicing social distancing and mask wearing from both the staff and public passing through to the back yard seating. Tables were spaced apart and nice area. Music playing..... it took a little bit for the waitress to take our order and she recognized we had been waiting, apologized and was very attentive from that point in. Empanadas, chicken pot stickers and cauliflower vegan pizza. All fresh and decent portion. Above average bar food in my opinion. The staff was really pleasant and we enjoyed our meal. The crowd seems young, and booze is served. I would return again, if in the area for a quick bite.... but for future would try and plan a more quaint venue earlier in the evening for a quiet evening out. read more

You expect a local bar to be a tab bid shitty, but the food here is decent, drinks are a little pricy for a cocktail that is half a regular cup size. The music they play at night can't even be classified as music. It's beats on garage band at best. I've come on holidays like Halloween and shit, and still music is not enjoyable. I don't know who hires these "Djs" but I certainly would re-evaluate the music played as people tend to sit down when tables are out, barely dance even if there is room when the place is packed like sardines. Took another 25 minutes to receive a corona and 2 Tito's and lemonade that we unfortunately had to send back because they didn't taste good and got 2 stellas on draft. Which again unfortunately my beer tasted very off and even smelt weird so lastly got a corona and all was good in the world. At that time they only had a handful of tables. All the food was amazing! There was a dj setting up and everything seem good. But after 9, it got so crowded that I was able to elbow the table right next to me. So if your trying to not be surrounded by so many people don't go there after 9. First time I came the bartender rose was there and honestly why I came back so when I came in again and she wasn't there I was disappointed by far the best and friendliest bartender I've ever met so I was very happy to come in last night and see her. The food is literally a 2/10. It's an odd menu, of anything overly fried. Then they throw in penne & vodka. A lot going on, stick to one, or have a few signatures. My friends are bartenders, very good ones. We couldn't believe the alcohol bill. Between all of us, we ordered around 15-20 shots at least. NOT ONE BUY BACK. That's terrible bar service. Their "cheapest" but decent bottle of tequila came to $10 a shot. Every other place is varies from $6-$8. Multiple drinks, not one round on the house of even the cheapest beer. For the price of the drinks and I'm a light weight, they were extremely watered down. I understand we are in a pandemic, but the owner should understand now more than ever, if you are offering "vibe dinning" people want good music and definitely a good time. An escape from everything going on. NOT A $20 COVER, TO START SHUTTING THE MUSIC AT 9:30.
