This is our go to place to fill our propane tanks. Great service, and prices. Always super friendly and helpful. read more

Great spot to get refills. Very knowledgeable. Was able to get parts fixed and now I can use all my tanks. Thank you!

Drive up and they care of the rest. Very nice and professional. I will be back highly recommended.

The fill ups are quick and the guys are friendly. The whole process is fast and convenient.

What a phenomenal place to do business with! These guys have been extremely helpful with the propane tank on my motorhome. They are patient and easy to work with. I now drive out of my way to get my tanks filled by these guys. Family owned and great guys! Shawn and Brandon helped me on my most recent visit replacing my tank regulator. Their pricing is also extremely fair. Thanks Placer Propane! read more

Placer Propane - My RV! - Propane Near Me - Roseville, California

Took my travel trailer propane tank there for a refill. Easy to get in and out of, fast service and cheap. Will take it there from now on every time it needs a refill. read more

Right around the corner from my house. All good guys always easy to deal with. Thanks again

Use this business for refilling my on-board propane on my RV as well as portable tanks. Had an issue with my RV propane and the owner was kind enough to spend time talking about symptoms and put a manometer on it. While I don't have the final outcome, I have a very good idea of the problem. Staff is always courteous and pleasant. read more

Easy and convenient. All prices are fair and plenty of tanks on hand if you need to buy a new one. Cheaper than going to a grocery store or gas station for a tank exchange plus it's filled a little more. read more

It was easy, convenient, and friendly! I took an empty propane tank. As soon as I pulled up, someone was out to help me fill it and load it. I was on my way out in a jiffy! I'll be back! read more

I prefer Placer Propane over places that also sell propane because I often end up waiting for someone to be free to help me out. PP is a propane station. This is all they do. Pull up give them your tanks and off you go. Simple. Pay cash for a slightly lower price. read more

Quick and easy as well as inexpensive! Filled a few propane containers to get us around the summer months. Friendly staff and helpful with directions in the area! lol Propane was very inexpensive so make sure to stop! read more

Guys over there are great. They're reliable and very helpful. We are glad we switched over to their service. It's great they now do monitoring so we never run empty on propane. read more

Very helpful service. Shawn will check your tank if you need to recertify your propane tank fittings. $15 for a propane tank refill, high value. Entrance is right after Quick Quack on Douglas going westbound. read more

Finding a place to refill your propane tanks is getting harder. I'd been doing the tank exchange at WallyMart and it's $22 bucks for a swap . If your tank is old go to Wally. If you have a fairly new tank, you will save 15-20% by going to Placer Propane. Pretty much get in line and you're in/ out in a matter of minutes . I'll be back read more

In 2017, we moved into our home that did not have gas installed. Placer propane was eager to help with that problem and provided a means that my wife could have a gas range and fireplace. They installed a 100 gal tank on the side of our house in Orangevale. It worked great from the first day until now. The technician that provided the refill work has always been very professional and friendly, as well as non-invasive. We are so glad that we have this company to service our needs. Every detail that we have had deal with has been surprisingly helpful and cost effective. Very grateful that there are these types of companies that are are still around. They've got my vote for best in the business! read more

Stopped by to refill our propane tank for our BBQ. I think 1 tank was about $15 or $16, def cheaper than getting it at Lowes or HD. The guy helping us was not very talkative, but quick & efficient; we were done within 5min of arriving. read more

How did I not know of this little gem a mere few miles from my work and almost on my way home?!?! Had three tanks empty and really did not want to go to WalMart or any of the chains to exchange the tanks. Then I was recommended to go here. I am so glad I did! Filled three tanks to max capacity, took perhaps 7 minutes in total, and the price was less then exchange. AND it keeps my money local!!! I'll be back for sure! read more

Always fast friendly and informative. They don't just fill your tanks they do safety checks too. Good local business.

We've come here a few times. Price just about 50 to $1 cents less than the cheaper tank swaps for 20lb cylinders. Last time we went I was charged to "re-certify" my tank( which was a Rhino tank) since, according them, had expired. Rhino sells expired tanks? He said no problem!! I'll take care of it. Yup, took care of it all right!!! Charged me $10 extra to slap a paper sticky label(which will fall off) and called it good. Called my husband which told me I should have just walked away from offer. The way he said it, sounded complementary. Make sure you always check your tank dates and if more than 12 years old, just go to Rhino or Amerigas and swap it. Cheaper than paying $10 extra for the same propane. read more

I needed to fill 3 propane tanks, 2 for my RV. Looked at Yelp and found Placer Propane just 7 miles from my home in Roseville. Pulled up and the gent running the operation had all three tanks filled in just minutes. Very efficient and $3.29/gal. This will be my go to place for propane now. read more

Great service, fair prices, you couldn't ask for more. Pulled in with Travel Trailer, they filled both tanks and off we were to camping. I will be back for sure. read more

The pigtail propane hose connector for my 2014 Coleman Trailer began to leak up in Lake Tahoe. Upon my return to the area, I called up Camping World - Roseville (where I bought the trailer) and they suggested I go to Placer Propane to get a replacement...because of the unique length of my original hose. Rick was training someone when I arrived, but took the time to not only make a replacement for me...he also provided superior connector at the tank connection end of the hose! The hose material was superior too! Thank you so much! read more

Excellent customer service and support. I called Placer Propane asking for support with an issue I was having with my smaller propane tank. The service rep walked me through the issue and was able to answer all my questions. Thanks for the help guys! read more

Friendly, efficient and affordable. Price fluctuates but as of today it cost me $17.41 to refill a 15lb tank which is the standard size people use for bbq grills. In case it helps anyone propane weighs 4.24 pounds per gallon. read more

Placer Propane came to the rescue when another well known propane company left us without propane during a cold winter storm. They were able to schedule a delivery in a few business days and accommodated us by providing an emergency delivery of 16 gallons to hold us over until that time (at a very premium price, but we were desperate). The only negative is that their price per gallon is the highest we have been quoted, but their customer service and technicians are great. I would recommend as a local, reliable propane supplier. read more

Fantastic experience. These guys saved my butt during the last storm. I kept filling up tanks and taking them up the hill since they were out of propane up there and our generator was running for eight days. Very polite and they filled them fast. Thank you for putting them in the truck too! read more

Everyone is nice, quick, cheap prices. I left my wallet at home on accident and I was able to read him my number and the guy was cool about it. read more

Placer Propane has (I believe) the best prices in the area. They fill tanks at the island efficiently and with great customer service, and they also do excellent work on things like tank sets for residential customers. They've always had excellent drivers and no problems with billing either. I have met everyone at this company and they have some really great people. The owner, Rick, is very accommodating for customers. If you're in the Sacramento area, this is who I'd recommend. read more

Superb customer service. I needed a smaller propane tank at my bussiness in the weekend and smaller size they usually delivere but the owner not only literaly delivered him self but saved me from not opening my doors. AAA 5 STARS!! ~Elis Tacos read more

These guys are really great, and they have great pricing. But even though the hours say updated one month ago, it is not correct. The handwritten sign on the front gate says closes at 4:30 during Covid. While yelp still says 530. Drove 30 minutes to get here today just to find out they were already closed. Would have preferred updated information so that I didn't waste my time. read more

Quick and informative service. After one too many times of not being able to fire up the grill because of an empty tank we got a spare here and the gentleman here made it an easy decision for us. read more

Very disappointed in this place right now. We have been getting our propane from here for 10 years now and today was a whole different story. We had dropped off 7 tanks on Friday. Called on Monday, were told tanks are not ready. Called on Tuesday, were told that they would be ready the following morning. When arriving there Wednesday morning around 10 they were still not ready. Ended up getting only 3 tanks filled and paying over $400! The receipt is not itemized so there are no break down of the charges, have absolutely no idea what we were charged for if we only got 3 of tanks filled. Ridiculous. Went down to Harris Gas and got the rest of the tanks filled on the spot for $60! Make sure you get a break down of your changes before leaving this place. read more

Placer Propane - Propane Near Me - Roseville, California

I had six propane tanks that I needed to get rid of. I went to different recycle places and they did not want to take them they said that I need to cut them in half in order for them to receive it. I went on Google called different propane tank places and no one wanted to take it to recycle it. I called place or propane they said that they will recycle it for no problem I came there 30 minutes before they open up and they still took me and my containers so if you have some propane tanks that you need to recycle that's the right place to go. They charge five dollars per tank. read more

This is by far the top place to get Propane in Roseville. Of course I priced checked and they are extremely compatible with the competition. What adds glitter is a cash discount, hello what! You want cash well that's how I always pay. Now your going to give me a discount high five I will be back 100%!!!! What destroys there competition is their friendliness. I can't remember the man if his name was Joe or Joel but what an incredible human. He goes above and beyond to help customers. A very gracious man that works fast and is extremely friendly!!!! My 2 cents is when it's hot and a person such as him is working full speed to get you in and out you better believe he is getting a tip. So Yelpers tip those propane employees at this establishment they deserve it. I will be back even if I have to drive out of my way because customer service and friendly people always get my business. Great Job Placer Propane read more
