I went in to get a simple car wash today and left shaking and crying over the disrespect and abuse…read moreof the manager on duty.
I paid 15 for the wash, went in and it was over in 60 seconds so I thought, oh maybe new kind of wash system.
Start going through the dryer and notice, my windows look exactly as they did when I went in. Mind you, the car had not been washed in a few weeks due to me being in the hospital.
I pull around and go in to ask if I can just go through again. The girl says, let me call someone .
This really nice kid come's out to tell me, the manager is on the phone and said we don't give refunds. I told him, I don't want a refund, I want my car washed.
He goes back in to manager again, come's out (poor kid looked nervous and did not want to be the one being pushed out to do this).
Tells me, manager said no refund, so I ask him to come out to the car so he can see it, he come's out and I show him the windows and he was like, ya, but I can tell, he is not wanting to have to deal with this manager.
You could see they were not even cleaned one bit. I ran my finger across it and showed him, I said do you see this, he said yes, let me tell manager.
Comes back out, take's me to the car and shows me bird dropping on the side of the car and says, manager says it won't get rid of bird droppings, so I tell him again, I'm not worried about that, look at my windows, (there were no bird droppings on any windows, it was on the side of the car.)
Comes back with same answer. I finally say, tell the manager I will wait. In the mean time, the girl is so sweet she see the problem but all of a sudden the manager comes out.
I'm trying to tell him I do not want a refund, I just want the car wash and for him to come see that the window didn't even get slightly clean.
He starts telling me, if you have been coming her for years then you would know, your car isn't always going to get clean.
I was like, What?
Then he is starting to point at the bird droppings and I say again, I don't care about that , I know they are hard to get off but look at my windows.
He said , ya cars don't always get cleaned. I ask if I can just go through again and he say a big "NO", I said are you really gonna treat a customer this bad over a $15 car wash???
Then he starts saying , 'get out of here. leave, get off the property, your not wanted here".
So disrespectful and degrading to be talked to like this, not just for me but for anyone.
I'm a business owner in the area for 20 years now and this is unbelievable to me.
I tell him I would never be so disrespectful to a customer...He starts telling me, " get off the property, I want you to leave now"!
A car pulls up because they see whats happening and I ask, does this car look clean, look at the windows, and both the guy and wife say no, so he shoos them off and tell me to leave NOW!!!
I called my bank and told them the story, they will get my $15 back
because I wouldn't want this place to get a penny of my money no matter how minor.
I called corporate and told them what happened and they were appalled at this guys disrespect to a customer.
I did call him a little B*&^ when leaving but that was after being disrespected , bullied and degraded by this man child.
I also want to say how bad I felt for the kid he kept sending out with different stories to tell me and why on earth would you do that, your supposed to be a manager.
Honestly, read the reviews, the older one's are nice because this place belonged to nice people before and was managed by grown ups.
I will never go here again and I would hope no one that reads this will either.
I want to add one more thing - I know that the last owner had cameras facing right at the car wash. If something went wrong he would come out and help. I am wondering if he saw it was a women and that is why he felt he could be a bully and try and steal money from me, but then I've read some of the other's and he's done it to men too.
