* This is Uber Delivery Order: We heard about all the hypes about this place - the owner worked under a two-star Michelin chef in France, and at Four Seasons restaurants all over the world... so naturally, our hopes were high but unfortunately, we met their pizzas with disappointment. We had # NEO MARGHERITA ($36) which is supposed to have Neapolitan Tomato Pulp, special fresh Italian cheese "Fior Di Latte", Mozzarella, roasted garlic, fresh basil, balsamic reduction. OK, first of all, HUGE let down was the fact that there was no basil. Balsamic reduction & roasted garlic were not detectable. To us, it tasted like a simple "cheese pizza" with mainly mozzarella and unimpressive tomato sauce dominating the whole. The dough may be unique in that it was chewy and crispy. But my disappointment about the toppings just did not let me fully appreciate about it. # TRUFFLE MUSHROOM (40) -- OK, it had generous amount of toppings. I recognised a lot of mushroom slices, artichoke, shallots, balsamic glaze, and arugula. BUT others like "Fior Di Latte" "Parmigiano Reggiano", White Truffle Crema? I do not feel the assertions from these core flavors. Like NEO Margherita, those ingredients that were suppose to play a role to make differences from all the other pizza joints were - completely undetectable. I will probably not come back here as I felt deceived this time. Yes, it is unique in presentation and the style of dough, but I did not see the genuineness and authenticity from the orders this time.

If you're looking for something beyond your typical slice, this spot delivers. They specialize in Roman-style pizza, which means a crispy, airy crust that holds up beautifully under generous, creative toppings. The toppings are what really set this place apart -- think combinations you won't find at your average pizza joint, but everything works and feels thoughtfully put together. Each slice is surprisingly filling, so don't be fooled by the lighter crust. Service was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a casual meal, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Mushroom truffle pizza and the pepperoni

Mushroom truffle was good but my only critique would be is that it's too dry. The pepperoni was enjoyed by everyone. This pizza style is Roman Allla Palla. It was crispy wasn't too heavy. I really enjoyed it so did my partner. It's just too bad the truffle mushroom didn't have more flavour to it. Overall I think it was great and I'm sure we would find other kinds we love after visiting again.

The first time we tried this place a friend of ours was a food influencer and was actually invited to go eat some of their pizza and she brought some back to us and we blind tasted it never even knew it was from this spot and it was so delicious that we had to ask where she got it from then she explained us the whole situation. And then ever since then we've always been looking for an excuse to come back here and order the pizza because it was actually so good for Durham. We ordered four types of pizza and you have to pre-order here you can't just walk in for a slice... at least at the time when we went they were turning away some customers who just wanted to order on the spot. I would absolutely recommend this spot as one of the best pizzas in Pickering. The inside is pretty bare bones they kind of tried to do a modern look with neon signage, but there isn't too many spots to sit and eat it's more so a takeout spot. The parking lot is quite small too, but it never really gets super busy so you'll always manage to find a spot.

Just tried this brand new pizzeria and was very pleasantly surprised! We don't have anything like this in Durham from what I've tired - the quality and quantity of ingredients is unmatched. Also the portions are really generous. A half sheet is definitely good for 4 people. Their chocolate chip cookie was also to die for! We ordered take out and most definitely over ordered - we probably have enough for two very hefty meals for my husband and I. There are some tables to sit and eat if you'd like as well. A very welcomed addition to the Durham region food scene.

Their pizza crust and tomato sauce are just exceptional and I knew I would be satisfied, and yes, I was very satisfied this time again!!!! We had (take out) #Pizza Margharita I appoint this as the best Margharita in Durham region. No complain. The crust, tomato sauce, cheese and big generous aromatic basil leaves - simple beauty. #Pearfect Bite This is added to another favorite of mine at 468F Wood Fired Pizza! Sweet and savory combination - Sweet pear slices meet saltiness from pancetta and 2 cheese Fior di latte, flurry ricotta. Walnut pieces added extra texture, and acidity & sweetness from glazed balsamic completes the taste of the whole. Highly recommended! #Di Parma This is good, tad salty side, but I appreciated the bitterness of arugula, nuttiness from parmigiano, and again the reduced glazed balsamic' rounding up of the whole flavors. I cannot wait coming back here again to try new pizza items (but I cannot miss Margharita - that is my must item)!

With the team's participation in our first tournament, it gave us the chance to hunt down places to eat in the good town of Ajax. As the saying goes, the 'show must go on'. A Friday early evening game that will take us to about a 9:00pm finish would only allow us to grab a bite post-game. We needed something quick since we have to drive back home to the west side, so pizza would be a logical choice. We could have settled with your run of the mill chain pizza joints, but as usual I've opted to take a bit of a detour to support a local business. The moment we got into the car, we put in the order for a small Canadian pizza and by the time we got to the restaurant, the pizza was ready for us. We cracked open the box and my son and I started devouring the piping hot pizza with pepperoni, bacon, ham and mushrooms. I like the crust as it was somewhere in the middle in terms of thickness. There was a slight crunch to the surface and a good chewy texture in the middle. We were trying to eat fast, but we also tried to proceed with caution since we didn't want to burn the inside of our mouths off. It was pretty damn good pizza. Navona deserves your visit if you happen to be in the area.

I recently had a craving for pizza, and was feeling a little nostalgic and ordered a pizza from here with half tomatoes and mushroom and the other half hot peppers and green peppers. Upon arrival to the store there was no one inside, but the guy soon popped in from the front and had my order ready. When I got home, I opened the box to discover that the half hot peppers-- were half pepperoni which I cannot eat, nor can the people I was eating with. Not to mention that I could literally count the bits of green pepper. We tried to call the store, with no answer. So we drove back instead. Store closed (before 7:30 and the posted close time is 8pm). So we diligently picked off the pepperoni -- I took a bite, some pepperoni under the cheese. So no one ate the pizza. We tried to contact the establishment on Facebook, to which the page manager (Brian) apologized and said he would try to contact the manager who would get in touch with me that night or the next day. Two days later and still no word, so I tried to call the store again (at 4 pm -- posted closing time is 5). No answer. I wanted so bad to continue to like this place for a good slice - however, the lack luster service has left more than a bad taste in my mouth.
