Got one slice to compare with Pizzeria Badiali and it wasn't as good. Didn't feel as fresh.

2.5 star pie (0.5 extra for design of box). Pick-up at Ossington location, and oddly, the custom plain pies come with mozz' but you have to pay extra for the sauce ($3 for tomato sauce ("red") or alfredo sauce ("blonde"); they call their "white" pies "blonde," but their "red" pies "red." Ordered a 16" (their largest), plain (tomato sauce & mozzarella), "nearly well-done." After tax, about $22-$23 (fair for the pie...). Was told there was only "one type of dough" (no option for thin, thick, etc.). Dough similar to Badiali and Makers (top-side with the micro-bubbles, seemingly fried), and dough was chewy (nice) but lacked the higher quantity of air bubbles in the inside of the dough that other local pizzerias offer consistently. Bottom-side was barely decent for nearly "well-done." Dough taste was akin to plain white bread (lacking sourdough?). Cheese was quite good, decently savoury. Tomato sauce was "good," with a bit of acidity, solid new-world tomato flavour with no smokiness (akin to a plain marinara sauce). Would generally describe the pie as a better-than "Pizza Pizza" pie. Unnecessarily interesting design for a pizza box. Slices offered. All their feature pies come with meats except for 2 white ("blonde" in their terminology) pies , which comes with provolone, asiago, pecorino & the other having "blonde" sauce, mushrooms, basil, pickled onion, truffle butter.

We got 2 slices for a decent price & they were actually pretty good. It's a good spot if you're on a lunch break or need something quick that won't break the bank. Only thing is they don't have any indoor or outdoor seating except for 2 black metal benches outside of the building. So it's def a grab & go type of place.

If you love a nice chewy pizza crust like me, you'll have to visit Blondie's. Made with the perfect thickness, their dough is not dense at all, just soft with a slightly crispy exterior. Their fermented dough is kneaded from scratch and you can really taste the difference. My favorite flavor combination is the COLD DRINK/HOT GIRL which is a tomato-based pie, topped with double pepperoni, oregano, pickled jalapeno, honey. I find that their pepperoni paired with their tomato sauce isn't overly salty like other places, and the pickled jalapenos add the slightest kick of spice with a subtle tartness. But what really helps to balance all the flavors is the honey, which really tops it off as the sweetness also offsets a little bit of the salty notes. Good dip options are a must when it comes to pizza and their pepperoncini dip is the one to try! FYI: don't bother saying any leftovers, as the honey taste is lost when reheated. Lots of street parking on the area, but the fact that their store is actually tucked into a small street makes it a little easier for pick up if you want to stop for a second right by their store to pop in and out.

Yummy pizza joint located just off Ossington. Definitely worth a try as you do your pizza sprint across the city! Blondies is on the slightly pricier side of the available options in Toronto but the pizza itself is tasty. Toppings were balanced but generous enough and the dough turned out chewy,

AWESOME SAUCE. I really liked Blondies pizza. Situated in the Ossington Strip is this amazing pizzeria. Just got a basic cheese slice but it was very delicious. I would definitely come back to try out a more customized option when I have more time.

More than just a pretty box (the pizza comes in a pink box dotted with white polka dots) and Instagram account! The pizza is genuinely good and the crust is homemade. It takes them 15 minutes to prepare your order. Very flavourful and rich ingredients. Yum!

Decent pizza, decent price. Nothing to brag about. Not my cup of tea though. Dough is a little chewy, not much of a bite but rather a somewhat tough texture. Tomato sauce left a strong impression rather than a subtle tomato taste. Cute store though.

There is a reason why this is a very popular pizza shop. It really is one of the best in the city. I had the Scarlett sunrise and must say the mushrooms, cheese, red onion, cream sauce and kale all complimented eachother really well. I'll definitely have this again.

Good staff Quick Slices ready to go; lazy pizza shops are usually 'out of pizza' I liked the crust and pepperoni best, sauce sweeter than I usually go for

Happened upon Blondies on my way home after a night out. The hypnotic neon lips against the black sky drew me in, as though they were there only for me. Preparing myself for something dark and sensual, I was more than a little disappointed to find out I'd just walked into a(nother) pizza place on Ossington. Blondies, I discovered, has a few locations around Toronto. The place looks like one of those pink fuzzy dice ostentatious people might hang from their rear view mirror in the 70s. A cool aesthetic. A+ to whoever designed the sign - they definitely know their market. From the street, it looks like a secret, not-so-secret night club the Ossington crowd might flock to. And they still might, but for pizza. The pizza is good! Nothing mind blowing, but definitely a solid option. Competition is fierce in the area though, what with Pizzeria Libretto, North of Brooklyn, and Superpoint all within a 5 minute walking radius. I'll leave it to everyone else to pick their favourite.

A Kissing Tigress (fior de latte, basil & sea salt)

Okay, so when we got here, they were pumping out 90 full-sized pie. Like legit, right? We got the Kissing Tigress (fior de latte, basil & sea salt) and a smoked cheddar dipping sauce. It was so amazingly good, cheesy gooey goodness! Yes, we waited for a while and yes, one of the individual wasn't super nice when we initially walked in but I get it. They were so rammed. So worth it!

I'm honestly shocked that this place has good ratings. I got the Scarlett pizza and it was below mediocre. 100% not worth it

It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

Nice local Italian restaurant that is enjoyed by us locals as well as those who come down for shows…read moreat the St Lawrence ctr for the arts and the Meridian Hall as well as sports fan here for games. They have a great stock of wines and an impressive drink list that we don't get to enjoy as we can't handle drinks these days. We do enjoy the food and the friendly service immensely tho. Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
