In general, I've come to this location maybe about once a year or once every two years for a family member's birthday. We came here at 8pm on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty. For our group of 5 we decided to go with the $40 meal deal, which included 1 large salad 1 large bread sticks 2 medium pizzas ( which we upgraded to larges for $3 each ) While our server was lovely, the quality of the food we were served was just average. The salad was definitely pre-made and stuck in the fridge, because the red onions tossed in the salad were mostly all frozen. The pizzas were also just average. For one, they cut the slices in such a strange way, it was a combination of huge slices and tiny ones creating a really disproportionate pie. Presentation in general is also lacking, the whole pizza didn't even have cheese on it, and the toppings themselves were spread so unevenly. Not to mention, the fact that the salad dressing, marinara sauce & shredded cheese all came on the side in disposable containers really brang down the dining experience. Even the chili flakes were served in individual packets, not in shakers. I mean I understand that there aren't many Pizza Hut locations with dine in options, but it really feels like Pizza Hut Canada in general is strongly pushing their customers to opt for takeout instead of dine in. ( Side note, even their website doesn't have their dine in menu posted, just the takeout menu ) Overall, I've noticed that the quality of Pizza Hut pizza in general has declined immensely over the last couple of years. Not just at this location, but at most every location I've gone to in the GTA, whether it be for take out or dine in. This is my first time at Pizza Hut. Shocking, I know! This place has been hyped to me on and on... to the point where my mind believed it was the most magical place on earth. So of course for my past cheat day, I picked this spot! Ordering is easy, as all pizza is. We ordered online and at this point I could already predict this is a place I wouldn't eat probably more than once a year. They offer tons of options that will lead to human depletion. We picked this combo that let us have a medium pizza and two sides. Of course we opted for our own toppings and I bombarded my side with pineapples of course. As for the sides, we chose boneless chicken bites and the Caesar salad. We went to pick it up and we were pleasantly surprised to see it was ready in 10 minutes! In and out, I drooled all the way home with the warm pizza in my lap. It's very rare for me to eat pizza nowadays so I dug right in and yes it was delicious. Soft, warm and exactly what I expected. It was good, but did not blow my mind especially with all the hype I hear. The salad was insanely small for a regular- I don't know how this is a share dish. The dressing that came with it was probably heavier in grams than the salad itself. Thank goodness they don't mix it in for you.. the boneless bites were good. Nothing more to say than just good. After 2 slices (keep in mind these are the small square slices) and a bit of salad, I felt a huge stomach ache as it felt like my stomach was clogged. I felt super sick and heavy and couldn't continue on. Pizza Hut? Definitely overhyped in my opinion. Rumors are true :-( Horrible experience at Ajax location... Worse experience in my life at pizza restaurant... I took my parents there expecting to have a good time, but it was the opposite..!!! Starting with the drinks, NO orange pop at that place, then when i finally order we had to wait for about 40 mins to get the horrible cooked pizza..!!! Pizza wasn't even cook properly... Overcooked in the bottom and seems the stove is not getting the pizza cook in the inside... Awful experience... At the moment to deliver the pizza on our table, i immediately order the bill... 1 large pizza, 1 medium pizza and 4 drinks for 42 bucks... The price It sounds like right to me... But experience was horrible..!! Carpet dirty.. Not hot sauce on the table unless you want to pay extra... Employes only go to your table when you order and when you ask for the bill... I like the idea of having a Pizza Hut location close to where I live...but not this one. Let's just say that out of the 20 times I have ordered online or over the phone...there has been a problem with the order 20 of those times. Dining at the restaurant is a no-go. Just take a peek through the windows and you will see why. I use to order over the phone as minor changes are usually needed on their Veggie Lovers. Basically---NO ONIONS. But after numerous times visiting the store and having to wait for them to correct the order...i hoped online would be the key for success. I was wrong. Even though going through the website is faster than having to deal with whatever employee answers the phone, that seems lost or in the middle of socializing, there is no guarantee that the order will be correct..or even delivered hot and on time. Some of the best pizzas is made at Pizza Hut. This particular branch provides great pizza and an excellent lunch buffet. When you eat the lunch buffet, they alternate regular and dessert pizzas, and you can really sample all these different types of pizzas they have. It's incredible. read more

I have ordered delivery from this location several times over the last few years and it's not very good. I used to love Pizza Hut Pan Pizza when I lived in Alberta, it was my favourite but since moving to Ajax I find this location seems to overcook everything. The pizza and sides are dried out and over done. I wouldn't mind so much if it was reasonably priced but it's quite expensive. I hope they can turn things around but in the 4 times I've tried it's been quite poor each time. read more

I only order take out here since the dine in is horrible. Every time we go for it the servers take forever and never get things right (even when your the only customers in the entire dining room). First off, like 3 customers in the restaurant so that should've been the first red flag, but were Canadian so we sat down. Server took about 15 minutes to come and say anything to us so we ordered our meals right away. We got fries, breadsticks, a medium pepperoni pizza, and a brownie. The fries came first (I did not ask for them first, it was part of our whole meal) they were cooked twice by the looks of them, and there was a nice black hair in the middle. yummy. Then the breadsticks and pizza came, and this is where the 1 star and not zero comes in, the food was good. We finished and then waited a good 15 minutes minimum for our server to return, then I asked for a container to take the rest of the food. ALSO I still haven't heard word on the brownie which he said he would bring part way through the meal. Then was waited another 15 minutes minimum for a container and still no server. Then as we waited there was a party of about 10-12 people waiting to order and they all got up and left, laughing and giggling. we soon found out why they left FINALLY a different server came to our table and says "oh good you have your food" and went to walk away, so I spoke up and said "yeah, we have been done and waiting on a container for quite a while". She apologized and told us "sorry your other server had to leave because he was "THROWING UP". So she went to get our bill, and behold the missing brownie was charged to us so we spoke up and said we never got it and she took it off and gave us 20% off. We were reluctant to visit this Pizza Hut locations after reading the reviews. However, I'm glad that giving in to a pan pizza craving won out! We were seated promptly and informed of the current promotion (5 bucks, 5 bucks, 5 bucks) by our server. We ordered two pizzas and a meal sized salad to share. The salad was quite large. Our pizzas arrived at just the right moment after we had been given enough time to finish our salad. The pizzas were fine and well prepared. Really, they were Pizza Hut at its best. I ordered a personal pan pizza, and it was smaller than i thought but it was good tasting, Overall, i wasnt as impressed as i thought i would be. it was good, as far as food quality, but the service was mighty average at best and the portion sizing didnt make me think i had a deal and i kinda wished i ordered something else. So unimpressed with Ajax location & overall. I have celiac disease and CANNOT eat gluten. I first went to order in person and the girl at the counter was clueless so I left. I decided to call and speak to the manager and have them explain the gluten free options they are offering according to their website. He informs me he is not familiar with what I am reading to him and contradicts what the site is saying. He proceeds to tell me the GF crust taste bad anyway. I then call head office and am told by a clueless person that she is unaware of any specifics, she heard they were coming out with a gluten free option in January. She suggests I call the location as they are franchised. How about I never give Pizza Hut my business and, please if you are celiac- do not eat here. We ordered a pizza for delivery. What a mistake! I think it would have been better to plan on eating at the restaurant at the end of the universe because the universe is likely to end before Pizza Hut can manage to deliver a pizza! I'm not saying they were slow -- that would actually indicate some sort of speed being involved. If you have the desire to wait over an hour and a half for a pizza to be delivered half a dozen blocks away, then Pizza Hut will make you happy. I think they've invented some sort of anti-speed for their delivery service. And they don't tell you when you phone up. If only they'd say "Your pizza should show up sometime before a week next Thursday" you'd be prepared for a period of starvation. If you don't want to eat pizza then this Pizza Hut is an excellent choice; you can spend great lengths of time not eating pizza. If you are hungry then go somewhere -- anywhere -- else! read more
