Ordered a large pizza with everything on it. And what I got was hardly anything on it. The pizza was so thin that I could shave with it. The large was more like small. They charge you 2 dollars for delivery in addition to the 20 percent tip that I gave. If I saw the pizza first, that would not have happened. What a joke this place is, never again. read more

Located in a small strip plaza next to Walgreens, Pizza Towne is a casual pizza shop serving up pizza, calzones, oven baked grinders, wraps, salads, homemade soups & chili, pasta dinners, gyros, wings & appetizers, and Pepsi products. The place is order at the counter with an open kitchen area with conventional pizza ovens and self serve booth (hard) seating. Several Lunch Specials (11A-3P) are offered including $2 pizza slices, 2 slices & can of soda ($4), 6" grinder, fries. & can of soda ($5.15), pizza slice, salad or soup & can of soda ($5.15) and others. I stopped in here for lunch recently on a cold Monday afternoon. I ordered the 2 Pizza Slices (pepperoni) & Can of Soda Lunch Special ($4 plus tax). There were no pizza slices readily available, but if I could wait 10-15 minutes, the pizza slices would be hot and fresh. I walked over to Walgreens as I waited. The 2 pepperoni pizza slices (8" radius) were a bit messy to eat, which were topped with generous amounts of pepperoni slices, thick tomato sauce, and melted browned mozzarella cheese. The crust was firm & crisp outside and light texture inside. The pizza was pretty good and filling and the price was right. read more

These guys advertise on Uber eats but don't necessarily deliver to you. Got home from traveling, spent time selecting dinners, placed my order, and never got it. I had seen a note saying they were preparing my order and they had given me an estimated delivery time. When the time came and I didn't get my food I found a note saying that they had canceled my order. That's ridiculous. I'm done with Uber eats and I wouldn't eat at pizza Towne if it were free. They don't really care about their customers. read more

I've been going to Pizza Towne since it was Eat a Pizza back in the 80's. One of my top 5 spots, including New Haven shops. Always superb pizza and wings. After moving to CT we'd grab a pizza from here when in the area. We haven't been here in a couple years and were looking foreward to it... Noticed the counter/order area was set up differently and you couldn't see back into the kitchen... A bit apprehensive... But ordered a pepperoni and ground beef anyway. After opening the box you could tell it wasn't the same recipe. Pizza was bland... Undercooked... Sparce sauce... Literally have had frozen pizza with more flavor and that tasted better than this. Come to think of it, this very well could have been a frozen pizza. Spoke with family recently and was told they had the same experience. So disappointed that we've lost one of our all time favorite go to spots. read more

Disappointing. Used to order Pizza Towne a ton, drifted away. Gave it a try again & ordered a "Specialty Pizza." Crust is still yummy! But toppings were super skimpy. Like non-existent. Literally a few small chicken pieces & paper thin tomato slices on entire pie. So little. Half the slices were just cheese. Tasty - but not what on the menu. Guessing costs have them in a bind? My first time ordering from here... ceasar salad was fresh and delicious as was the dressing, but could have used shaved Parmesan or just more Parmesan ... however, the broccoli bites were absolutely amazing! We ordered a Hawaiian pizza with hamburg, corn bites and zucchini sticks. They called us back to inform us we owed $3 for the hamburg and it looked like they grated it with a cheese grater and put a few pieces on. Unfortunately, Pizza Towne quite literally couldn't deliver. We ordered, which in and of itself was difficult. Took a good seven minutes of consistent repetition until I was told, "Forty minutes". An hour had passed, so we called to check if they were just busy. We were told the driver, "Is a few minutes away, they're a little backed up." No worries. But then ANOTHER hour goes by; still nothing. Call again and we're told the order was never placed. They said they'd call back in a few; they didn't. So around 9 we were told we could place the order because the order WAS placed, but they wrote the wrong number. We asked for a discount of some sort, considering it had now been over two hours, and were told we were getting one. Of course we had to place the entire order again. We waited ANOTHER 50 minutes before it was delivered. We were given two free sodas and a bag of chips, which would be fine if they hadn't FORGOTTEN two of the things we ordered, fries and onion rings which was part of the combo we ordered that we paid for in full. That's right; no discount, missing items. Three hour wait. This was completely and utterly ridiculous, especially having ordered from here before. We were so disappointed by the service, and despite being nothing but patient and understanding, this was a $40 purchase that was missing items and took three hours. The owner just offered us a $15 discount but that's not fair to a group of customers who were patient, and waited so long. Can't say we'll ever be purchasing from here again. read more

I ordered a party size meatball pizza online and the delivery was 20 minutes past the estimated delivery time. That aside, the meat was cut up old hamburgers that had been precooked before being placed on the pizza and tasted like rancid old meat. I picked off the meat bits and fed them to my dog so he'll give it another star, but I'll never order anything from them again. read more

5 Stars for their Gluten Free Pizza! I've tried half a dozen or so around the area and this is the best one so far. It is thin with a nice crispness and good flavor, unlike some other restaurant's cardboard tasting crusts. I do not have Celiac and did not ask about how strict their food prep area was regarding cross-contamination with wheat. read more

This place has become very inconsistent . Dropping a star . Should maybe be 2-2.5 but I'll go with a 3 for now. We used to order weekly (sometimes twice a week)and has dwindled dramatically . Pizza sauce is what we fell in love with and seems to good once in a while . Their pizza puts any of the other I've purchased in the Westfield area to shame, and their prices aren't too bad, either. If you compare them to The Russell Inn (RI), for example ... I've ordered cheese pizzas from RI that cost more than a specialty pizza made at Pizza Towne. They're located in the strip mall with the Walgreens in it (adjacent to the Burger King on Main Street). If you like well-made pizza, this is the place to get it in Westfield. read more

I ordered a greek salad and a pepperoni pizza. The salad was okay. The greens were not crisp and tasted old, but it was doable. The pepperoni pizza on the other hand was DISGUSTING! I would have had a better tasting pizza if I went to the grocery store and bought frozen. No flavor, sauce was bitter, and the cheese was barely melted. It was late in the evening and delivery was my only option, therefore my reason for picking this place. Next time, I will just starve. read more

First time walk-in to this place and I was not sure what to order. Then the lovely lady at the front was very nice to welcome me and offer me time to review the menu. I noticed there was a nice small dining area where I could sit comfortably and watch a little tv while deciding what to order. I then decided on ordering the Honey BBQ Wings 12 Piece and the time it took wasn't long at all and the lady brought to me at the table area I was seated. I noticed the color and sweet BBQ smell was so amazing and fresh I just dove in and WOW! to my amazement all I can say is these wings were the BOMB!. I have been to almost every pizza joint here in Westfield, MA and Southwick, MA and every time I ordered wings they wouldn't get it right and leave me a disappointed customer. This place got it right and these wings were super tasty and not spicy at all, oh yeah I will be back to try order other dishes for sure. Amazing pizza. Best in town by far. I'm originally from New York and have been looking for a good pizza place ever since I moved here and have been unsuccessful until Pizza Towne. The online ordering and delivery could use some improvement. I ordered a pizza and it took an hour and a half to get delivered. After an hour iPhone called the place and they said their website had "issues". I did get an apology but normally they would offer to knock something off the price or something. Normal delivery usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour, but an hour and a half is unacceptable have ordered from this place probably five or six times so far. It would be different if I lived out in the hills towns but I live 2 miles away from the pizza shop. It should not take that long. The downside to this whole thing is I will continue to go back because their pizza is that good, but I do hope they read this and continue to improve the website and delivery service. Great pizza. The cheese looks almost broiled, which I really love. The garlic knots are awesome. The buffalo sauce is almost like a buffalo/bbq mix. It's strange and not very good. I highly recommend the pizza, though! read more

I ordered on line and missed the 4.50 service fee on the bill. It was probably there but I just didn't see it. Had I saw it I would not have paid almost 30.00 for a 16" pizza with the tip for the driver. The pizza is good but I don't know what the service charge was for. Never had to pay one before. The cook / counter person made a sub, took somebody's money and made change, made a hamburger patty, then went in the back to open a.box, all while wearing the same pair of food service gloves!!! I walked out without waiting for my order. Later that week my coworker went there for an order of wings. Covered in sauce, they bit to a RAW wing.
