So called "döner" bowl contained 5 french fries (the only good taste in the bowl) a pile of iceberg lettuce and bunt scraps of meat that looked (and tasted) like the bits left over from slicing off whatever meat they started with. Beyond "well done", dry as a bone. There was plain white rice so crunchy and hard it seemed like it wasn't even cooked. When there are at least 4 very good local restaurants serving döner/gyro/kebab, I can't fathom that anyone would order this, unless like us, we tried an unknown place that offered delivery.

I liked that they had an actual drink menu with classics whiskey, vodka, and other regular cocktails. I almost ordered a pomegranate whiskey sour but decided not to drink tonight. Instead I got a pineapple juice drink that was really refreshing. We kept it pretty simple with chicken tikka masala and garlic naan (which I forgot to take pictures of), and it was good. Nothing over-the-top, but definitely enjoyable. I also went a little out of my comfort zone and ordered the pepper shrimp in a coconut sauce. That ended up being my favorite. It was really good, and I'd definitely order that again. Our waiter was very kind. There was a slight language barrier, but he was so patient and still explained things to us. I even learned that the traditional clay oven a lot of Indian dishes are cooked in is called a tandoor. Overall, a really nice dinner. I love Indian food, and I'd go back.

Smoked brings the real deal: ribs, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, and other Southern comfort food that's so not what I was expecting in the way of typical cafeteria fare. We ordered the Brazil sandwich (smoked Cuban), all hail Caesar salad with chicken, and a large fries. The food took its sweet time arriving but was worth the wait. The Cuban was delicious, as was the flavorful bbq chicken that topped the salad, although I wish I'd gotten dressing on the side as the salad was overdoused. Fries are the best kind of fries I like, with that extra crispy and blistered seasoned coating yet hot and pillowy on the inside. It's a homey operation and Chef Bruce B. You don't have to be a museum visitor to eat there, but 5 stars for being a casual cafe with good eats I would actually leave the complex for, and am glad I didn't have to.
