I love Indian food so of course, I was so excited to try this place out. The reviewed were excellent so I was really looking forward to my dinner here. When I first walked in, the strong smell of Indian spices hit me like a wave. Immediately I could tell they cook their food fresh and it was going to be flavorful. The waiter was very attentive. The menu was extensive. Lots of appetizers and main dishes. I also saw a lot of vegetarian choices so it would be good for vegetarians too. We got the meat sampler as an appetizer, garlic naan, goat curry and shrimp tikka masala. It was good size portions and we had enough for lunch the next day. The goat meat was tender and just like I predicted, very flavorful. The shrimp was done just right. The tikka masala sauce was on point! The dishes were very mild so I wish they could've added more spiciness to them! I like a bit of spicy in my Indian food! Overall the bill was just over $80 for 2 entrees, garlic naan and an appetizer. I would definitely come here again!

I usually don't go for Indian lunch because the heavy spices. Although I like the deep flavors, they were often too intense for me & sometimes gave me acid. However, I really like the modern/US? twist here with lite spices. It's much lighter, like 5x less spices but they are still very tasty. Lunch is a $15 buffet with a small selection, but still 4-5 different type of meat. My favorite choices were on my 2nd go around, the photo of the plate without rice. The best for me was the Tandoori chicken, like a good American BBQ chicken but with Indian flavoring. The second best for me was the orange looking Chicken Marsala. The lamb dish was very tasty but it's a bit under cooked, not fully tender yet. The rest were fresh but average, with the egg plant being the least appetizing. Overall, very good Indian lunch buffet for non Indian foodies.

I highly recommend checking out Royal Spice! The restaurant itself is really cute with some nice wall art. It seems pretty new! They have a full bar and their menu is huge with tons of veggie options. We didn't make a reservation but we also went on a Tuesday night. I'm sure they're busier on the weekends! We split a bunch of dishes, as it was our first time and we were excited to try the food. We definitely over ordered and had leftovers for days after. We started with the veggie app sampler and the mango salad. The bhel poori was my favorite from the sampler, especially with the green and tamarind chutneys (the true stars of the show). The mango salad was very refreshing and the mango was perfectly ripe. For dinner, I ordered more apps! The tamarind eggplant and the samosa chaat. I really loved both. They were similar and both came with a bed of chickpeas. I also tried the coconut mushroom curry and YUM!! It was so rich and creamy with a strong coconut flavor. I will definitely be coming back!

If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars, I would--and I'd throw in a bonus star for every bite of Cheese Naan I regret not pocketing for later. Started strong with the Vegetable Samosas--crispy, golden, and hotter than Mustafar on a bad day. The Paneer Kurcha (medium spice) came in like a Jedi mind trick: subtle at first, then suddenly you're hooked and questioning all your life choices that didn't involve ordering two. Balanced perfectly--flavorful, rich, and just spicy enough to make your taste buds duel for dominance. Then came the Cheese Naan--gooey, glorious, and honestly? I'd force-choke someone for the last piece. No regrets. And the Julab Jamun for dessert? Little orbs of pure joy soaked in sweet syrup--like if the Ewoks figured out how to deep-fry happiness. Portions? Generous. Enough leftovers to feed a small rebel base. The staff? Attentive and wise--offering spot-on suggestions like they trained under Obi-Wan at the Culinary Academy. No pushy upsells, just genuine vibes and good energy. Whether you're dodging bounty hunters or just hungry after lightsaber training, this spot is a must. The Force is strong with the flavor here--so bring an appetite... and maybe stretchy pants.

Our first time at Royal Spice tonight. Living in Wilbraham, we were thrilled that an Indian place opened this close to us (less than 15 minutes). The food was great, we tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Shrimp Mango Curry. Service was very quick and attentive. They are working on getting a liquor license soon, which will be great.

Royal veggie and chicken tikka masala, chili garlic naan

4.5 stars but rounding up for the apps and service. Our appetizers were amazing- we got the meat app platter (wings were the star) and the spinach chaat, which I haven't seen on any menus around here. I'd return for the spinach alone. Our server Ali was great, super friendly and attentive. Food came out at a good pace, not too long but a bit of time between each app and the main course. Rice was super fluffy and naan was good. Tried the royal veggie dish which is denoted with two chili peppers yet had zero spice. The flavor was fine and a nice variety of veggies but I'd probably try something else next time. Chicken tikka masala did have a large amount of white meat chicken, however the flavor of the sauce was not great- very tomato-y in a canned tomato way and again, two chili peppers and not any spice. Would not order this again which is disappointing since it's such a basic staple. Pro takeout move would be to order apps from Royal Spice and then get a side of chicken from Motu down the road.

Bhel Poori -- delicious vegetarian appetizer

Our first visit of many to Royal Spice. Vegetarians and vegans rejoice -- so many delicious options! We were blown away by all three of the appetizers we tried: Bhel Poori (my favorite, pictured), Tamarind Eggplant, and Gobi 65. My husband ordered the Chilly Chicken off the Indochinese portion of the menu and loved it (he travels frequently and his favorite cuisines are Indian and Szechuan). I went with a classic and had the chicken korma, which was great, but outshone by the appetizers and the unique flavor of my husband's dish. Servings are generous--we brought home a LOT of leftovers which is ideal! Service was friendly and quick, ambiance was fun, and we're already looking forward to coming back. We had no problem getting a table at 12:30 on a Thursday, but also was very happy to see that this new restaurant was at least at half capacity. Delighted to have this addition to Longmeadow's restaurant options!

"Top of the list King of the hill…read moreA number one" (Frank Sinatra) We've been to a ton of Italian bakeries over the years. But I don't think we've ever fallen as head-over-heels in love with one as we did when we set foot into the Russo Pastry Shop. It's one of the most visually stunning bakeries I've ever seen! Walking into the store reminded me of the moment in the Wizard of Oz movie when the images transform from black and white into color. That's because vibrant, bright, gorgeous colors are everywhere inside Russo's. An embarrassment of riches are everywhere in the form of cannolis, cookies, pastries, and cake slices, And if you want some savory treats to accompany your sweet treats, well... no worries because Russo has pizzas, calzones, grinders, frozen pastas, parmigianas, and soups. We picked up a gorgeous slice of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake, and it was so fantastic it's hard to put into words. We went into their freezer case and picked up two entrees -eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. They were priced as a $16.99 BOGO deal. We had both last week, and the portions in the containers were easily splitable for the two of us. The chicken parm seemed to have more inside the container than the eggplant did, and we both thought it was better than the eggplant. In essence we ended up with four dinner portions for just $16.99. Do the math-that's a tremendous value. After you do the math, do yourself a favor and take a ride over to Russo's for a fantastic experience.

I all bought two slices of pizza - one was spinach ricotta, and other meatball parm. Both were very generously loaded w toppings. Both were very good, but definitely below New Haven-style. I guess I'm a pizza snob. They were just a bit doughy for my taste. So, 5 stars for the pastry, 3.5 for the slices, overall rounded to 4.25. 4 Yelp stars

It's an unassuming building but they've made it very cute! They have painted the brick around the bottom to look like stone as well as a continuation of the awning painted around the top. The inside is just as interesting. There is a huge wooden map of the world on the wall, a piano, and the lights over some of the tables are made from teapots. There is a large bar in the middle and plenty of seating. This place is larger than it appeared from the outside. The menu offered several types of teas- white, green, herbal, black with several different flavors within each type of tea. I chose a tropical white tea. It came out nice and hot with a packet of honey. My friend ordered a sweet crepe with mixed fruit. She loved it! I decided to try their unique offering of 6 mixed pancakes. It included 4 savory pancakes (beet, zucchini, squash, potato) and two sweet pancakes (Oladi, farm cheese). One of the sweet pancakes was fluffy but dry and flavorless. I think it was the Oladi. All of the other pancakes were excellent and the service was flawless. What a cute place with great food and service! I'll definitely be back!

Our waitress Monica was beyond welcoming and knowledgeable. She made us feel at home. The low dinning table with low seated sofas made us feel very cozy. It's not very often you can cuddle up and enjoy a meal as if you were at home. The Eastern European food and ambience is as authentic as it gets. All I can say is... I'll be back
