First time trying Louisiana's Hot Chicken. This location is in a strip mall on the north side of…read moreDupont road. It's a bit hard to get in and out of. The store was clean and orderly. The counter person was kind and professional. I found the food to be okay. The fries had a nice rub that gave it flavor. Unfortunately the fries were cold-ish by time we got them home. Therefore they had a tougher starch taste to go with the mild Cajun rub flavor. We had the BBQ and hot sauced nuggets. I thought the nuggets were a bit tough though they were thoroughly cooked. There was a nice thick breading that was soft with a mild crunch. The BBQ sauce was sweet and had a traditional BBQ flavor. The hot sauce was typical buffalo sauce that was mild in spice.

"Hot" and "scorching hot" both hit the mark without killing the flavor. The slider had a creamy slaw, crunchy pickles, and soft brioche. Fries were crispy and dunked in that yummy dipping sauce. Service: friendly staff. Call ahead for pickup unless you like waiting. Pick up is the way to go! Ambiance: very low key with limited seating. More grab-and-go than dine-in. Overall...this is the best hot chicken sandwich in town. I'll be back to try the rest. Merci beaucoup, Louisiana Hot Chicken!

Hideout 125 is easily one of our FAVORITE places in Fort Wayne! The food is consistently excellent,…read morethe drinks are great, and we've always had fantastic service. It has a fun atmosphere while still being perfect for a nice dinner or date night. One of my personal favorites is the steak and eggs, and I love that you can get it during both brunch AND lunch! There are so many great choices on the menu, though, and everything we've tried has been delicious. And you HAVE to try the carrot cake. It is GINORMOUS and absolutely delicious! Definitely big enough to share--or eat some there and take the rest home for later, which is usually the better plan. We really love this place and have never been disappointed. Great food, great drinks, great service, and just an all-around great Fort Wayne restaurant. Definitely one of our favorites and a place we highly recommend!

The restaurant had a wonderfully lively atmosphere, yet it never felt too loud or overwhelming. Our server, Caity, was fantastic. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her hospitality made our evening very special. EVERYTHING she suggested was perfection. We had and enjoyed their signature Crab Cakes, Sea Bass, and Beignets. If drinking alcohol try the marvelous Old Fashioned, and if not drinking alcohol try the refreshing Lemon Meringue. Caity made our night unforgettable. 1,000 stars all the way! We will definitely be back.

Most often it's pretty good, but on one visit we sat and waited for nearly 15 minutes on food that was sitting on the counter because our pager didn't go off. On another occasion I had to take a sandwich back because it was cold and the employee went to put it in a microware. I asked for a new one instead and she did.not.like.that. Of the dozen or so times we've been to his location, though, the service has been pretty good. Likewise the food quality/accuracy. While I've yet to try their pizzas, I tend to stick with the "not really on the menu but you can still order it" Sierra Turkey sandwich and a Greek salad. While we're talking about their Greek salad...I love it to death...mostly. The downfall, almost every time, is the tomatoes. It frequently seems as if they're using yesterday's tomatoes, which tend to be squishy or mushy. The store is always clean. Staff is always impressively busy taking care of the dining room. In my experience, this location excels at keeping things neat and tidy. I guess the best way to put it would be to state that it's consistently inconsistent. I know they had a rough go of it during the throes of COVID and have been trying to recover since. Based on a few previous visits they've come a long way, and that's awesome.
