My wife and I told them we were there for the first time. They handed us two menus and we sat ourselves. No waitress. We were told to come back up when we decided what we wanted. THE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS FOR PIZZA! This is Lompoc. Poor people and low wages. Food is better and cheaper in San Francisco. We left. Nobody asked us why we were leaving. I'm not a pizza lover but this place has the most fabulous bread sticks. However we paid almost $50 bucks for the buffet ,sat there for two hours and never got 1 bread stick. About 80% of the Establishment was reserved so we had ten people squeezed in on one table. We were lucky enough to get one slice of pizza every 20 minutes. Don't let the facade and decor fool you, this place makes damn good pizza. I'd recommend ordering your own pizza, as the buffet is less than stellar. They're known to give extra appetizers (garlic cheese knots, cinna stix, etc.) which are worth buying anyway since they're delicious. They also have a solid tv setup, with several screens around the room showing various sports. Great food, good atmosphere, sure wish those arcade machines worked. read more

Best locally owned pizzeria in Lompoc! We love coming down there, everyone there is always smiling and friendly. We love their sausage pizza, it's the best in town! Their buffet is delish, the kids really like the variety and the breadsticks! They also have a VIP card you can get and you rack up points for half price or even free food! Love'em!! read more

PIZZA GARBAGE PIZZA GARBAGE PIZZA GARBAGE !!!!!! I've been going to pizza garden ever since 1997, I was in high school and the lunch buffet has steadily increased from $4.50 to now $11 for the lunch buffet and it has only gotten worse and worse. The days of Larry "Pizza Nazi" as he calls himself. Look it up in the Lompoc Record asking what type of pizza you would like to see or he would even bring a pizza to the table has long gone. He now likes to spend his time running around the restaurant with his head cut off acting busy as he tells his employee to go do something. We sat there and watched Pizza Nazi run from one station to the other and nothing got accomplished. Also what is up with him taking up 3 yes 3 booths for his paperwork, like they say on NFL countdown COME ON MAN!!!! set up an office somewhere. Looks so unprofessional him taking up 3 booths for paperwork, I guess thats why he needed the expansion. This review is for Pizza Garden lunch buffet aka overpriced cheese/pepperoni pizza One week lunch buffet was advertised to have wings on Fridays. So for lunch 2 weeks later the guys and I decided to go have some wings with buffet. We show up and NO WINGS!!!! What the hell I guess that advertisement only lasted 2 weeks. Larry "Pizza Nazi" ended that promo once his expansion was completed. Lunch buffet consists of a salad bar that has canned veggies and some packaged lettuce. Ingredients are hard to get to especially the ones in the far back. But please don't go to the other side or the Pizza Nazi will YELL AT YOU!!! poor girl. Hrmmmm maybe set up the pizza buffet station to accommodate your guests to reach all ingredients. Pizza usually consists of 2 medium pizzas 1 with 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese. Another with 1/4 pepperoni 1/4 ham pineapple 1/4 cheese or Veggie and 1/4 sausage. Can we please get a good variety of choices. If I wanna pay $11 for cheese and pepperoni i'll just settle for Little Caesars for now on. Round Table is $3 cheaper and they put out specialty pizzas. I guess that will be my go to pizza place from now on until Pizza Garden aka PIZZA GARBAGE gets their act together. $11 buffet should include wings ever day. Lunch was actually busy today and Larry just stopped putting out Pizzas we sat there wanting more pizza but the buffet sat empty for over 10 mins and we finally said F**K IT! and left. 2 stars because the pizza is above average, the ingredients taste good. I just think buffet is poorly ran. When Larry is not there the girls actually put out some good pizzas. Larry seems to be the one to tell them not to put the good stuff out. I guess you gotta be cheap to pay for that expansion and get out from being bankrupt. **PRO TIP** Just order your pizza to go, that way you get a decent pizza and the toppings you want. or Just go to Bravos Pizza. read more

Let me begin by saying I have worked at Disneyland and Nordstom, so I'm a stickler for customer service. So I was looking for a place to watch the Angels/Royals playoff game tonight because I don't have cable (crazy, I know, but true). The Yelp reviews for this place were good and they said they have a lot of TVs so I thought, "Perfect." I was a little concerned about some of the reviews which commented on the number of "Reserved" tables, but I figured, "What are the odds of that being a problem on a Thursday night?" Of course I was wrong. When I got there, I saw two nice, big screen TVs that were showing the Packers/Vikings game (which I also wanted to see) and the Tigers/Orioles game. Of course, that's where I wanted to sit, but I couldn't, because all the tables were reserved. Empty, but reserved. So I was directed to a section at the other end of the restaurant. There was a big TV over on that side of the restaurant, but I really wanted to watch two games at once, so I was not happy. That turned out to be the least of my concerns. What really ticked me off was I asked the girl who took my order (very cute blonde with a sleeve of tattoos on her right arm) to turn one of the TVs to the Angels game, and she said she couldn't do it. Fine. I understand. Sometimes the management controls that. So when the manager (I assume he was the manager, as he was telling everyone what to do) walks up, I ask him if he could change one of the TVs to the Angels game. He motions towards the TV that has the Tigers game on it and says, "It's right there." I said, "That's the Tigers game." He said, "It'll be on right after that game." Now, as a baseball fan, I know that that's not how they do it; there is never a time when you can't see the game you want. They don't stay on one game until it's over and then go to the other game that has already started (and they don't hold up the second game until the first game is over) And, looking at my watch, it was after 6:07, so I knew the Angels game had already started. So I told him, "It's past 6:07. The game started already." Then he said something like, "6:25 game time." Well I knew that was wrong, so I pulled up the box score on mlb.com and showed him that it was the top of the first inning and the Royals had a runner on base so, obviously, the game had started already. But he was way too busy with the four customers in the restaurant, so he didn't even bother to look at what I was trying to show him, and he just said,"It's on TBS. That's TBS (referring to the Tigers game). It'll be on after that game is over." Again, I knew that wasn't right, but I didn't know what station the Angels game was on, so I couldn't tell him what channel to turn it to. So I tried to use logic with him. I said, "What if that game goes into extra innings for the next two hours? You're telling me they're not going to show the Angels game?" He just said (rather rudely), "Hey, I didn't come up with their system (or words to that effect)!" At that point, I was pretty pissed, because the ONLY reason I went there was to watch the Angels game, and this customer service-hating jerk wasn't letting me. So I sat down and ate my salad and did a quick internet search on my phone and discovered the Angels game was on TNT. At this point he brought my pizza over, and I said, "The Angels game is on TNT." But he just ignored me. He was too busy with the now five customers in the restaurant. Plus HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT GIVING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! By then, I had already decided to get a to-go box for my pizza, and when I went up to the counter and asked the cute blonde for one, he (who was standing right next to her) gave me a styrofoam box instead of a pizza box. OMG!! But by then, I was done with him, so I just put my pizza in the styrofoam box and left. The pizza was okay, but overpriced ($10 for a personal pizza, salad bar and soda). Anyway, the bottom line is, don't go here to watch sports because you probably can't sit near the game you want to watch (if they even have it on), and the pizza isnt worth it. But if the blonde is working and you happen to be driving by, go ahead and stop in and say hi to her and leave. For her, I give two stars instead of one. read more

We had the place to our own; but the workers did not expedite to our needs without arguing. Please do not come here. a newborn kid could not have a piece of celery stick without paying $6 for it. The worst place to watch football! Pizza Garden refuses to change the channel regardless of who is watching the game. They sucker you in by making you pay for your food first before sittting down to watch the game, thus you're stuck watching a game you don't want to with no volume. Pizza Garden has always been my favorite pizza in Lompoc, but after last nights experience I will never give them my bussiness again. They offered a heart shape pizza on Valentine's Day, and highly suggested pre ordering. Two days before Valentine's I called in and ordered a heart shaped pizza with 3 toppings, bread sticks, and cinnamon sticks (pre paid also). They told me they would deliver it between 5:30-6:30. I understand it's Valentine's Day and very busy, but they didn't deliver my pizza until 6:45 (no big deal let it slide). We check our food and the pizza is a regular round 1 topping pizza, the breadsticks were cold, and the cinnamon sticks didn't come with the dipping sauce. I was extremely upset, so my husband decided to go down there to get our order fixed. Upon arrival he was told they were all out of heart shaped pizza! I'd understand if I was a walk in and they were out, but what was the point of PRE ORDERING!! The owner's son was very nice and said he would comp our meal and made us our pizza (but not heart shaped). However, they gave us back the same bread sticks and cinnamon sticks that have been now sitting out for about an hour in a half at this time. My husband got home and we just threw them in the trash. The next day my husband went down to Pizza Garden to talk to the owner and make sure we were getting a refund. He simply told my husband "you got a pizza didn't you?" Yes we did, but not what we PRE ORDERED and PAID UP FRONT for. He did not once apologize and was completely rude! The owner's son did come out and say he was comping our meal, which you could tell the owner was not happy with. How can you be a local pizza place and talk to your customers that way, and not even apologize. Like I said, we will never spend our $ there again. Went there twice for all-u-can-eat lunch starting at 11AM. Both times arrived at 11:30 no pizza in the oven. Two strikes, YOU'RE OUT!

Did not want to write a negative review but I must. Ordered a thin crust veggie pizza and paid $25. The crust was difficult to chew (not crunchy!) and the topping, sauce and cheese had zero taste. This pizza cost 5 times more than Little Caesar's Pizza (only $5) but did not taste anywhere as good as Little Caesar's. My favorite pizza so far has been from Bravo and Pappa John. They really know how to make a tasty pizza. read more

Excellent salad bar(more than leftover pizza meat toppings) and all you can eat pizza bar. The pizza is consistently good. Customer service is great. Dinning in is always clean and there are lots of tvs playing sports and classic arcade games to play. Delivery is on time and polite. The Pizza Garden has nice atmosphere. Its your traditional pizza parlor with arcade games and sports playing on the big screen. I ordered a large pizza with 4 toppings, and a stein of DBA. The beer was cold and served in a nice big mug ($8). The pizza was baked to perfection. The sauce to cheese ratio was right on mark. Everything tasted great. I would have given 4 stars if they had been more generous with the toppings. They just went a little light on the toppings. The pizza cost $24 for a large with 4 toppings and I expected a more value (10% increase in food amount). The service is fair, and edaquate (employees don't look jazzed to work here, but I understand because most restaurant employees are not doing it for a career but to get by on the bare minimum wages and the job can be stressful.) This is my second visit and I recommend this business to anyone looking for the pizza experience. read more

in response to Dave S review: First of all, I have never felt the need to comment on a negative review but you bothered me so much that night that I am. I have worked At the Lompoc Pizza Garden for several years and can say I have never been so relieved that a customer has left! You're rude, obnoxious, and acted in a manner that offended multiple members of the staff. You made HIGHLY inappropriate comments and repeatedly attempted to hit on the "very cute blonde" (whom you've mentioned 3 times in this review and who is half your age). This went on for several minutes while placing your order and the OWNER, picking up on her discomfort, had to step in and take over. After being told that the game you were requesting was scheduled to come on after the current one was over (they were on the same channel), you again tried harassing the same girl to get her to change the channel. In regards to seating, as a small business with limited seating, we are required to become more proactive in seating our customers, especially small groups. Seating a single person at the largest table in the restaurant so they can watch multiple TVs at one time is quite an inconvenience when larger groups come in, especially if they plan on staying for several hours. We are a restaurant, not a sports bar; the 6 TVs are an extra bonus. One of our biggest complaints from our customers is seating and we are doing our very best to expand by the end of the year. After throwing your temper tantrum about the game not being on immediately, you then appeared at the counter AGAIN to try and speak to that same girl about getting a box. At this point, she was already very uncomfortable from your previous attempts at trying to flirt with her so the owner gave you a box and you left. I honestly believe you seemed more upset that you had been kept from talking to the "cute blonde" than missing the first two batters of the game. At that point, the game you requested switched over automatically as you walked out. Your inappropriate treatment of the girl working the register was very unwelcome and your comment that "if the blonde is working to stop in, say hi, and leave," is borderline harassment. We strive to provide the best customer experience possible given the size of our business and resources we have available at this time however; repeated inappropriate behavior towards the staff is not tolerated or welcome by anyone and I find your review to be more of a reflection of your own distasteful character rather than a true statement of our business. read more

Horrible customer service here. I ordered a large pizza to go. This person who took my order states he is the manager who runs the place. Apparently, he was the person in charge. Bad attitude as I ordered. Waiting for pizza for 35 minutes and all I heard him was talk rude to his co/workers, yell at them. When pizza was done and before packing into the box. My family and I have been ordering pizza from this place since they have been open and its great tasting pizza. The best in town I would say. However, the last two recent times we ordered we noticed a huge change on the amount of toppings. They put way less than they use to and today when I ordered I explained that we felt they were putting less and less and if they could put what they use to put. The owner Larry stated they had already measured the amount of toppings and kept cutting me off when i was trying to tell him that it seemed his prices were going up (which if you have to you have to) but that they were barely putting toppings. Our pizza was delivered and to our disappointment it barely had toppings especially bell pepper. I called again and he kept cutting me off (i wasn't being rude, but as a long term paying costumer was expressing my concern). I was being professional about it but he kept cutting me off every time I started to talk and was not professional on his part. This is not the first time I have been treated this way. Unfortunately he said it is what it is and if we want more toppings we have to pay extra. I wasn't asking for more, just the amount they use to do for years. Im just disappointed how the owner handled it and the changes they made by putting less but charging more. This is something many locals and long time costumers have noticed. We hope they pay more attention because we really do love their pizzas. read more
