I had a pleasant experience at this establishment from being waited on at the counter to receiving my pizza. The staff was very kind and helpful helping me make decisions. Looking from outside in it doesn't look that big of a place but once inside it's spacious with tables for dining in pleasure and there is also an arcade room. Just like an old fashioned pizzeria. They were so cheap on the toppings there was several slices that either only had one piece of pepperoni and no sausage, sausage and no pepperoni or no toppings at all. read more

I was in Lompoc on business and this establishment was literally right outside the parking lot. Saw a digital sign that said pizza buffet and that was all it took - I turned in. Spacious place with a bunch of great sports memorabilia and many TV's with all the MLB playing, even one with the little league world series tournament. I was greeted by the owner, I think he must have been. He was cool and explained how the buffet worked. I had the pizza and wings. Pizza was pretty good, definitely better than Round Table! Best pizza in town and around the central coast . I believe they make their dough from scratch early in the morning. The flavor is good, kind of crispy edges cheesy edges with good warm dough going toward the middle. They also use good cheese not that weird cheap cheese that melts in your mouth. I had a very negative experience with the owner when I called to place a delivery order yesterday. While I was ordering, I mentioned a glitch that I noticed on their website and online ordering link, just so they could check it out and fix it. Before I could explain, the owner cut me off and was incredibly rude. He told me I must be on a "rogue website" and named the company that runs his website. I replied that I was looking at that exact one and tried to give the rest of my explanation. He yelled at me and asked if I was planning to order, which I said I was. I then asked if he was the owner, and he replied that he was. I told him I was shocked that he was treating me so poorly, at which point he yelled again that he just wants to get my order so I can eat. To that I replied "actually, never mind." He said "fine," and hung up. Small business in a small town. Shameful. We won't be going back. I feel sorry for his employees, who work hard and treat customers much better than he does. read more

My husband and I chose to eat on a whim three weeks ago and we have not stopped talking about it. The younger woman who took our order was so helpful to us. She went over the menu, some of their deals going on, how the buffet went, etc. We chose the buffet. The older man who was cooking up the food greeted us and said that whatever pizza we wanted he would just cook up as we went since we were the only ones in there at the time. Fresh pizza and garlic bread was laid out and it was so good! My hubs LOVES his pizza and we were both impressed. They had massive tvs in there for you to enjoy watching sports on. The buffet came with one trip to the salad bar and that thing had everything you could think. Pizza/Salad buffet - Salad bar was okay, fresh, nice selection of toppings. Pizza was also okay, only 2-3 types put up, all average quality. Sadly my objection is not so much the food, cleanliness, etc, but the price. Staff was quite pleasant, area was clean and organized. A TON of tvs hanging up, lots of sports channels so a nice distraction.... All of the amenities were laid out for 100% self service of the buffet. That being said, Buffet Dinner for two, of acceptable (but not superior) quality with 2 $4.00 sodas came to $42.00. I'm not ridiculous frugal, and I support local business, but I won't be doing this again. There is no way to value an average salad and average pizza at $20+ per person. The cost did not reflect the quality, at most this would be a $11.99 dinner, including drink. read more

I had a bad experience at a local chain, so I really needed to rekindle my love for great pizza. Turns out this was the place to do that. The pizza had a perfect not-too-thin, not-to-thick crust. Cheese topped all the way out to the edge (love!) and thickly layered. Generous toppings with pepperoni crisped at the edges. I waffled on the rating here and would do 4.5 if I could. TRASH.... I was disappointed as hell. My friend had ordered a pizza from here and it looked really good so I thought I'd try it myself. Me being new to Lompoc and looking for my new pizza spot I thought I'd try it. The pizza was burnt I should've took a picture of the bottom of the pizza that was burnt to. So... I never come here because there is always something.. But... We wanted pizza and they do serve good pizza and I tried giving the store the benefit of the doubt. I AM IN LOVE WITH PIZZA GARDEN! I work at Lompoc Valley Middle School and commute 45 min to get here. I asked my coworkers what pizza place I should order from that delivers and they all said Pizza Garden. I ordered a Small and the delivery guy told us that the manager (owner?) upgraded me to a Medium for free because they know how hard we work! Because of that I was able to offer pizza to everyone in the front office. It seriously made our day and was soooo tasty!!! I have lived in Lompoc for almost 5 years. My family friends have been going to Pizza Garden for an even longer period of time. I had a bad experience about a month ago with a delivery to my mother-in-law's home and Justinmade me an offer to make it right. However, tonight when I called to redeem my offer, Larry, was very rude and unprofessional. He didn't seem to care about my concerns. When I arrived, he was very dismissive and suggested I order pizza closer to my home. He was a complete asshole. Excuse my language, but he just doesn't know customer service. I prefer Mi Amore over Pizza Garden any day. If I could do negative stars I would. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by an owner of a business. It's truly sad considering the locals love this place. I have worked in the customer service industry for over 30 years, I would never treat anyone the way I was treated. God bless!!
