Very friendly and very helpful! Ordered two crustless pizzas, totally customized - but, you can order any of their standard pizzas crustless, too. Both pizzas came with instructions and we will dive into them this weekend. Yum. Only drawback is boy, they are EXPENSIVE. Yikes. It's literally two bowls of toppings - but, I did want to try them so... Store was spotless, very clean. Parking here is crummy, just not enough spots for the amount of stores in that strip. Good option for keto peeps and for non-keto diners, there are many options. Their take and bake is quite good, as I recall.

I'm a huge cannoli fan and these hit the mark! Crispy shell, creamy not-too-sweet marscapone filling swirled with mini chocolate chips. So it seemed the perfect spot for lunch before my performance nearby. (It is behind the Hardees and next to a physical therapy facility.) The restaurant has dine-in and take out available. You just order at the counter and will be given a number and your food will be brought to your booth or table. The menu is pretty large with pizzas, pastas, salads and sandwiches. The dining area is large and casual. There is plenty of seating but a lot of open space so you have room to enjoy your meal. When dining out, I tend to order dishes I don't make at home. I was planning to go with an eggplant dish here but decided I wanted shrimp so went with the fettuccini alfredo as I don't cook that either. It came with a small loaf of bread. So I will need to return for some eggplant and maybe a pizza. They have fountain drinks and some beverages in a coolers up front. I thought I'd get an iced tea but there wasn't any near the fountain drinks, I don't like Pepsi so got a Dr. Pepper. I hope tea is added as the Wake Forest location has iced tea. I enjoyed my meal very much. The portion didn't look that big when it arrived but I found out that plate was a bit deceptive as I struggled to finish. I did eat all the bread too as I couldn't resist as it was that good. The staff was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Parking was easy enough to find in the large parking lot. Mario's is a great addition to Louisburg.

Mellow Mushroom is a delightful throw back to when restaurants didn't look like a furniture store,…read morewith chairs, tables (and diners) as far as the eye can see. So, there is no waiting to discover where it is you and your party will be slotted in, but rather, it is a slow amble amidst lots of room to pretty much any table you choose, with mostly booths. The servers are mostly college age I would say, and all attentive with an easy-going nature while also industrious in going about their tasks, making for a nice combination of satisfaction and leisure upon each visit. As for the food and drink.. To start things off, a drink my friend orders regularly and always enjoys is the non-alcoholic Lavender Groove Lemonade, a refreshing blend of "Blueberry, lavender, house-made fresh sour, lemon, and club soda." Over multiple visits, we found all the main dishes to be consistently well-made and presented, as well as tasting great. Along with a variety of burgers and sandwiches, there are numerous pizza offerings as well as build-your-own. A favorite offering of ours is the Kosmic Karma, a delicious blend of "Mellow red sauce, spinach, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh Roma tomatoes, feta cheese, and a pesto swirl." So far. we have opted for salads over appetizers to start and I particularly enjoy the Caesar, and recently we each followed our salads with a delectable Steak and Cheese Calzone consisting of "Grilled, shaved all-natural ribeye steak with mushrooms, sweet onions, green peppers, mozzarella, provolone and seasoned ricotta. Served with a side of Mellow Red Sauce." which are Huge btw so there was take-home of that and Delicious both days. This past week, we each ordered a salad and split another Steak and Cheese Calzone which, for that evening, satisfied our hunger just right. The only caveat I have is MM is popular with families, so, depending on the time of day, there will be one or two tables with little ones dining to three, four or more and the corresponding volume level to go with it. At the same time. families should feel welcome and there's a variety of menu items for kids to enjoy. And really, the noise seems to fade into the background once you focus on your own conversation and delectable meal. If you do visit Mellow Mushroom, I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we always have.
