I really enjoyed Nelson's. This is one of my favorite shopping plazas in the Oxford area. It's super convenient with multiple restaurants and shopping. I bring my mother often for lunch and dinner. Today we decided to stop in for a slice. The decor at Nelson's is very modern and chic. I love the yellow branding. Customer service was friendly and quick. Seating was comfortable. Our sausage and pepperoni slices were delicious! Thin crust and excellent meats and flavor. This restaurant has one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever been in. There was Febreeze air freshener and cleaning spray available. We will be back to try other menu items. Excellent dining experience. read more

Great new restaurant, very clean, and delicious options! My wife and I stopped here on a roadtrip south. I saw the Yelp rating, but didn't see much info about the interior. But we wanted to get out and stretch, so we were willing to give it a try. We were impressed from the moment we walked in. It was very clean, with booths and tables enough for about 20 people to dine in. The bathroom was as pristine as the dining room. We'll be stopping back in during our return trip! read more

The food was well and quickly prepared and the music was at a good volume level. The cashier was very friendly and helpful.

I decided to try Nelson's Pizza house for lunch today because I wanted to try different things in the Oxford area. I ordered the Nelson's club Panini and a garden salad. The Panini came with their Housemade chips. I must admit that I ordered this lunch with no expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive one of the most flavorful Panini's that I have had in quite a while. It had your normal cold cuts like ham and turkey and salami, but I think what made this sandwich exceptionally good was the bacon bits and the chipotle mayo. The garden salad was Fresh. However, the star of the meal was the housemaid chips. These chips were delicious. I am eager to eat lunch here again and next time I will try something different on the menu. The service was sort of average when I walked in. It was slow so the cashier and another staff member was sitting down on the phone, but as soon as I walked in, the cashier got up immediately and attended to me so I appreciated that. I also appreciated seeing the 99 on the wall which indicated this restaurant was as clean as it looked on the inside. It is very colorful and just the right size for the shopping center that is housed in. read more

i am very disappointed on the service from the owner and that slow rude termagant at the registe. We are nurses at gran medical center and we order food here often and spend a lot of money here because I recommend them because the food was so good the first time I had them. Tonight we ordered salads and she's so smart she put the salad in a paper bag but put the other food in plastic. as soon as I picked the bag up before I could grab the bottom, it all fell through the bag onto the floor. We called them to express we needed the salads replaced and they refused to give us our money back or replace the salads. The owner was very nasty and rude and said it was our fault the food fell through and he said he placed it on a paper plate so he obviously knew the salad would leak through that bag. I am disgusted and will make sure they are black balled from the hospital until they make it right. we just wanted the food that we paid for and now they've made our night not so great because we have to spend more money to get dinner. I hope in the future they do better but they will not get another dime from us here at the hospital. I have pictures to prove we don't have anything to lie about read more

Very good food. Great service and wonderful crew. The wings are delicious and the pizza is wonderful, it's just pricy. Other than that it's very good. read more

My search for a good calzone in Oxford is over!!! I have eaten at Nelson's Pizza House twice so far and both times the food was excellent. The first time I ordered a panini which comes with house chips. The panini was very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. My chips were freshly made and awesome. My second trip to Nelson's was to try their calzones. My calzone was perfectly cooked with the crust a beautiful golden color and an appropriate amount of each item in the filling. It was fantastic! Next time I will try their pizza since the ones that I have seen while waiting for my orders looked great. I highly recommend Nelson's Pizza House! As a bonus, it is very conveniently located in the WalMart shopping center. read more

The pizza was excellent. Nice thin crust done perfectly. However, it could have used more pepperoni and sausage

Work nearby, so great to have a decent pizza place here. Small location, but good pizza. Bowl portions great for the cost. Highly recommend calling in, but wait time is not bad for walk-ins. read more
