Super busy this morning with a queue at the register that stretched almost to the door but the ladies back there seemed to have it under control and it moved well enough. When I got to the front, after standing in front of the pastries counter for a good few minutes, I had changed my mind five times. In the end, it was the chocolate croissant which they helpfully warmed up for me. Self-service coffee was excellent and they had actual mugs in addition to paper cups. Refillable! I found a table and hung out for about an hour trying hard not to drop croissant crumbs into my keyboard! The wifi was a bit slow but the power outlet at the table worked great. The coffee was delicious. I would definitely chill here again. It's probably not as busy in the week. [Review 2410 of 2024 - 3866 in North Carolina - 23423 overall]

Here lies the BLT, braised beef sammy, and blackberry/blueberry crostada. 10/10.

1000000000000/10. I am NEVER disappointed and the seasonal items deserve to be a permanent staple. Not pictured are the Samoa Latte (perfectly named) and the coconut pineapple lemonade.

My mother in law was showing me around downtown oxford and we stopped in here for lunch. We both got the turkey and brie sandwich on focaccia. So so good!! Hit the spot. The food came out quickly. We were tempted to get a pastry because everything looked amazing, but decided on getting one the next time we come back. Cute place!

Great bakery items, sandwiches and soup are also good! They have homemade syrups for lattes! They have a good amount of tables, bar and window seating to enjoy your meal! It always has a good flow of customers

Great breakfast sandwiches, breads, and sweets. Tater tots were nice and crunchy. Staff is friendly.

I got a loaf of bread which was perfect, the texture and flavor. Not too crispy but not too soft. Then an apple pie pop tart and apple pie spice cake. I wish this place was closer to me! So good

Oxford, North Carolina. Busy place any time of day, but of course mornings it's extremely busy. Fresh breads and muffins, breakfast sandwiches and the like.

Oh my gosh, amazing!!!! Saw them at Durham Farmers market and impulsively decided to try some street corn dip. BEST CORN DIP EVER!!! I wasn't expecting much, but wow!

I think of it more as a lunch stop for a sandwich than a bakery. The food is always excellent!

I've been relying on Strong Arm since the pandemic. Impeccable service, delicious food . Servings are often enough for two.

The shop has the display cases right when you walk in the door and there is a little cafe area off to the right which seemed cute. We were greeted when we walked in and the girl who helped us gave us plenty of time while we decided what to order. I asked what her favorite thing was that they had and she told me the danishes or the cheesecakes. I ended up ordering several things to try: a glazed donut, glazed raspberry filled donut, powdered raspberry filled donut, cheese danish, chocolate chip cookie, and cinnamon roll. The donuts and cinnamon roll were given to family who already knew how good the donuts were and we tried the chocolate chip cookie and cheese danish. The chocolate chip cookie was huge, chewy, and had a great flavor. I think my favorite thing I tried was the cheese danish. The dough was buttery and the filling wasn't too sweet. It was a great suggestion from the girl working there. Also, all of this was under $18 which is crazy. Will definitely be coming back.
