Here's the thing about Presti Pizza, it's a really good Neapolitan style pizza from a food truck/trailer, but it doesn't stop there. The varieties are just so good. Hot honey drizzled on spicy sausage with spots of creamy ricotta for contrast? Brilliant! Sure you can customize your pizza and they'll accomodate you, but the combinations they put together are so well balanced, you really should trust their "suggestions." And, don't miss out on their pasta. You don't need to run to a sit down restaurant for a pasta al forno experience, you can grab it here. Crust was the best part but in my opinion however there was too much sauce for a wood fired pizza which didn't allow enough time for the bottom to get any char or crisp to it. Delicious fire roasted pizza! We found this food truck at a local brewery. I ordered a veggie pizza, and my husband got a piccante pizza +pepperoni. Both pizzas were delicious- soft dough, tangy herby sauce, and fresh toppings. I would recommend each person getting their own pizza. Really enjoyed their pizza! I tried the supreme, spicy, and pepperoni. I love that it is thin crust, they put a lot of delicious cheese on it, and the gomitas e sauce is yummy! I ordered a suprema pizza and cheesy garlic bread using their website and chose a pickup time in about 90 minutes. I got there right at the pickup time and the order was ready but I think it might have been sitting for a bit because it wasn't as hot as I expected. It wasn't cold but it hadn't just come out of the oven either. Pizza looked great and the outer edge was spectacular... at least, for me! I know people have differing opinions about crust, including my nephew who years ago called them "handles" and wouldn't dream of eating them. The edge was thick, chewy, and had tons of bubbles (my Achilles heel!). The center of the pizza was a whole other story. It was so thin that I couldn't pick a slice up easily and the toppings would fall off from the center. Taste was good, especially the crust edge, but it was messier to eat then most pizzas. We used Presti Pizza to cater our wedding and couldn't be more pleased. They were responsible for operating the buffet table, and did so perfectly, from getting the oven setup and hot, to cleaning up and heading off. Even with this being an outdoor event, the pizzas were transferred to the serving table straight from the truck as hot as conditions allowed. They provided a selection of (4) pizzas, three standard (i.e margarita) and one specialty (Chicken Pesto). The pizza is wood fired, medium-thin crust, just the right amount of chew with a developed flavor. It's clear the dough is homemade and cold fermented. Sauce and toppings are equally as delicious. I stalked this pizza truck for a while until I could finally find a night where they would be and I would be close enough to them to order a pizza! Well, they didn't disappoint! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We had the Margherita pizza and their cheesy garlic bread. On their website www.prestipizzanc.com they have a calendar page so you can see where they will be and stop by and pick up a pie. Fabulous new addition to the local food truck scene. Tried them at Wine and Beer 101 - Wake Forest, and loved it!! Closest I've tasted to pizza we ate in Naples, Italy. Presti was parked in front of our Camden Carolinian apartment complex, so we took a chance and ordered online with them. Wow, we are so glad we did. I ordered a margarita pizza, which is always my test of a good pizza maker. It was perfect. My husband ordered a custom pepperoni pizza and loved it. The sauce was simply crushed flavorful tomatoes (as it should be), the mozzarella tasty and the crust perfect. We could taste that it was baked in a wood oven. Again, it really was perfect.
