I found this place on Yelp and had to give it a try. Tiny place with almost no seating to eat in…read morebut we took it to go. The staff are all amazing... super helpful explaining the menu and favorite options highlighted. The food was amazing. I highly recommend everything we had. It was my first experience having collard greens so I have nothing to compare them to but WOW they were delicious. The corn bread was over the top yummy too. We had sausage and rib tips too. We will definitely be back. Yummy and again the staff/owner were delightful.

Once again, I am always willing to give restaurants a chance to prove me wrong... and once again,…read morethey have failed. My motto is simple: if you can't see the smoker and smell the smoke, the BBQ is going to be bad. This place is no different. My family ordered the pork belly burnt ends, pork ribs, chicken Philly, and smoked mac and cheese. Let's start easy--the mac and cheese. My grandparents used more salt and pepper in their mac and cheese than this place did. The only ingredients seemed to be noodles and cheese. What happened to flavor? Spices? Maybe some paprika, cayenne pepper... jeez, something. However, as a bit of a warning sign, the mac and cheese had more wood smoke flavor than anything else they served. Next, the ribs. Some people believe in the 3-2-1 method--I'm not a fan, but it can work. These people must believe in the 1-2-3 method: 1 hour smoked on a Traeger, 2 hours wrapped, and 3 hours cooked on high heat in the oven uncovered. That's the only way I can figure out how you end up with jerky-dry ribs. Not only were they dry, they didn't have any flavor. The chicken Philly was dry--my wife hated it. The pork belly burnt ends actually looked great--nice cube size, good presentation--but biting into them was a different story. Chewy, bland, and dry. I honestly don't know how you manage to do that with pork belly. Really disappointing experience overall.

Wow! Let me start with, I love food trucks! I have seen Stavis at the brewery before and I don't…read moreknow why I've not made my way there to try their food. Tonight, I was craving some food truck takeout and checked out Deep Rivers lineup then scoured Stavis menu and I was sold! We ordered the GI Joe sandwich on Texas toast, GI Joe fries (they come with this stellar Chipotle ranch...yumm!) We also grab a side of pasta salad and the Greek freak sandwich on Texas toast. I knew it would be good, and definitely after tasting everything, I knew we made a solid choice! We only had to wait 7-10 min and our food was ready! I was so impressed and I know we'll definitely be eating from their truck again soon!

Nice looking food truck with friendly masked service, a 99 sanitation...very enticing. Husband's sandwich smelled and looked wonderful. It was large and he said it tasted great and that it had "good quality meat". Meanwhile, for just a dollar less my salad was a big disappointment, but that's really my fault because it was just what the menu said it would be...lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and cheese with a Greek dressing. Yawn. Fortunately I had some kalamata olives and pepperoni at home to doctor it up. Would have loved to try the crab bisque others have raved about, but tonight's soup was chicken gnocchi, which didn't call out to me. Next time I would definitely skip the salad and stick with what they are named for...their sandwiches!
