Taste: 4/5 While it wasn't the best lobster roll in the world, it definitely was a pretty good one. My only wish was that the lobster was slightly fresher and that the rolls were not only toasted on the outside but also the inside. Team Hale is still batting three-hundred!!! I just finished a sunny Saturday scrumptious seafood feast!!! Of course I had to have my dump cake again!! Awesome as before! Today I had the seared scallops with Asian slaw.. As expected, it did not disappoint. The scallops were perfectly seared and tender. I was concerned that they may not be exceptional as this was a togo order. Those fears were quickly dashed away the moment that my first easily cut into the first one. The slaw perfectly complimented the meal. I also had the lobster bisque.. Let me tell ya.. They neither skimp on the lobster chunks nor load up the bisque with potato like some other restaurants.. Great Food Truck !! They were at Fortnight this evening. We tried the clam chowder which was SUPER DELICIOUS !!!! Also had the fish sandwich and a side of fries. Fish sandwich was good. Fries were OK. Next time I'll opt for the slaw. We will definitely look for them at Fortnight on Sundays. Give them a try, you will be glad you did ! They give you a beeper and you can go back into the brewery instead of standing around and waiting for your food to be ready. This is a great idea. read more

Angus burger was meh. I could outgrill that shit in minutes. No flavor to the meat. None. Had the burger tonight at Vicious Fishes. The only reason this burger gettin' three stars is the homemade sweet and spicy pickles. Those pickles are THA SHIT. I would buy an entire jar of those damn things...even at food truck prices. But that burger was NOT worth 8 bucks even with the pickles. Sorry guys, y'all were nice but the burger was kinda lame. read more

I tried Hale Yeah tonight at Southern Peak Brewery in Apex. I saw great reviews before heading over there. I must say the reviews were spot on. I had the Guinness beef stew. It's served over mashed potatoes. So good ! For dessert I had the chocolate cake. I forget what they call it, but damn it was good ! I also had the pleasure of speaking to the owner Patrick and his wife after they closed down.
