We were seated right away, and they were able to accommodate a booth due to my friend's hearing issue. We order. The eggplant appetizer was four good pieces, light and flavorful. I got the veal parmigiana, which was cooked perfectly. I finished it all! Will be back.

Me, my husband, and my daughter took my dad here for his birthday, and it was such a great choice. I picked this restaurant because the food has always been amazing, and every time I've been here they've never disappointed. For appetizers, we ordered the fried calamari and the baked clams. I absolutely love their baked clams -- I don't eat them from anywhere else. What I appreciate most is that their clams don't have that strong "ocean" taste; they're seasoned perfectly. Their sangria is also the BEST. I had the white sangria, which was delicious, and my husband and dad ordered the red, which they really enjoyed. For the main entrées, I had the shrimp scampi, my husband had the penne alla vodka, and my dad ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil with a side of broccoli. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The vodka sauce was creamy and tasted homemade. My daughter ordered a personal pan pepperoni pizza and loved it. The service was excellent--our server was really polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked on us often. I also love the atmosphere: when you walk in, it feels like a classic pizzeria, but once you head to the back, it transforms into a cozy fine-dining space. The lighting is perfect, and the music is just the right volume. The last time I visited was over four years ago, and I'm happy to say the food and drinks still taste just as good as I remembered. Overall, it was an amazing experience for my dad's birthday, and we'll definitely be back again.

Been here countless times, I can't believe I've never posted. Now this is more of a thank you to Pizza Classica for hosting so many memorable events for my family throughout the years. It all started with my friend recommending this place for my family because it has a parking lot and can accommodate my family anytime (we range from 10-20 people depending on the occasion). I've also met friends here and picked up takeout many times. The menu is impressive and well-priced. Where else can you get black linguini with lumb crab meat, baby scallops and shrimp for $25?! And that's not just a special item, it's on their permanent menu. They serve the whole shebang from appetizer to dessert and everything in between. The interior is well-maintained and always spic & span. The service is always excellent. In short, thank you for being a solid place. I'm a creature of comfort and not trying to chase trends, so this place is as good as it gets for me!

Great service & delicious fresh food awaits at Pizza Classica! The Burrata appetizer comes with generous strips of prosciutto, peppers and tomatoes with a balsamic dressing on the side. The pear gorgonzola salad (we added chicken) is fresh with ample feta cheese. Service is exceptional: attentive, accurate and never an empty glass without an offer of a refill. The pizza here is excellent with a wide variety available.

We went to Pizza Classica for lunch & it was packed. We had a Sicilian pepperoni slice & it was so good. It was perfectly cheesy & the crust was so nice soft but crunchy at the same time. I loved it. I also had a chicken bacon ranch it was k but not the best I've tasted. The employees are nice and the place is a decent size. I would go again.

Returned for a large group gathering again (our 3rd here so far). This time we were seated indoors. Complimentary bread and butter to start. Calamari was good. Stuffed mushrooms were on the salty side. Had the Pasta Pescatore - seafood in a spicy marinara sauce. Liked the seafood but the linguini was not al dente anymore. I much preferred the side of capellini with strong garlicky-flavored oil, which went well with the Chicken Sorrentino (with eggplant, prosciutto and brown sauce). Delicious. Service was great. Restrooms available. Wheelchair accessible, but if I remember correctly the restrooms are small. Lots of parking.

Chicken francese / penne alla vodka / cauliflower crust pizza. Everything was delicious!

Never ever had a bad experience here. The service is great, ambiance is lovely, always very clean looking. Food is consistently great. I can't rave enough about this place. Hands down probably one of my favorite restaurants!!! Chicken francese is always delicious, as are the mozzarella sticks and pasta! I highly 100000% recommend this place! I also tried the cauliflower crust pizza (good option for gluten free people!) and it was really delicious also! I can't say enough good things about this place!

The best pizza in NYC. I'm so impressed with this place. The food area and ovens are always clean. Their ordering process is prompt. Their slices are perfectly blended with sweet sauce, fresh cheese and crispy crust.

We ordered delivery one night - Caesar's Salad and Sicilian Special Pie. It came exactly at the time we asked. Salad greens were fresh - no brown edges. The pizza was super thick and lots of toppings.

Walked in to grab a few slices on a whim after shopping at Stop and Shop. For a Sunday evening, it was pretty busy. The staff was friendly and asked for my order relatively quickly. I didn't expect much but the pizza was great! We had a plain slice (and you can always tell by the plain slice if it's a good pizza spot) which was very tasty and the grandma vodka which was phenomenal! The establishment looked clean and modern. Will definitely come back to dine in,

I get delivery from here all the time, but I recently went here and had the portobello wrap. It was good. The waiter and other people who work here are very nice. The rainbow cookie truffle was amazing.

Dined in with a party of 9 on a Saturday evening. Food was fresh and delicious with generous portions. Service was friendly and helpful. We ordered a variety of pies for apps along with fried calamari and arancini.

We often get the Baked Ziti. Tonight we got the Chicken Francese as well. It was the BEST I've ever had! Tender and flavorful.

I'm also surprised I've never noticed this restaurant before, considering I've probably driven past it countless times. The restaurant itself felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Our server, who I believe was also the owner, was incredibly friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing or making us feel like we were being hovered over. The whole meal had a relaxed, comfortable feel to it. Overall, the food was very solid. We started with the Polpo, grilled octopus with hummus and grilled vegetables, which was extremely tasty. I initially thought hummus might be an odd pairing with octopus, but it worked surprisingly well. I wished there was more hummus. The Radici salad was also excellent. The Tortelloni Verde, spinach tortelloni was fresh and light, maybe a little too light and healthy for my personal taste! I probably would have preferred a richer sauce or a little more cheese, but that's really just personal preference rather than a complaint about the dish. We also ordered the Pasta Al Frutti di Mare. The sauce tasted fresh and flavorful, and the seafood was cooked very well. Unfortunately, the mussels were the one exception, as they didn't taste fresh. We finished everything else on the plate but left the mussels. When the owner asked about our meal and we mentioned it, he seemed genuinely surprised and concerned. My feeling is that this was probably more of a purveyor issue than something the restaurant did wrong, but unfortunately, it was the one thing that kept the meal from being five stars for me. We finished with tiramisu and two cappuccinos, and both were well made and delicious, the perfect way to end the meal. Despite the issue with the mussels, we really enjoyed our lunch. Between the food, comfortable atmosphere, and genuinely warm service, this is definitely a restaurant I'll be returning to.

Both items came out together like we asked and was far too much food for two. My first bite of the pizza was hot, crunchy, and delicious. I love fresh oven pizzas with a crispy bottom crust. The chefs did an amazing job cooking it just right. I also loved the fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. It really elevated the pizza to another level. The crust was great all around with a slight oven char. Lastly the calzone took me by surprise as it had no sauce and was filled with ricotta cheese as opposed to mozzarella. It came with a small cup of hot marinara sauce for dipping/pouring. It was definitely an interesting calzone but don't think it was worth the price. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and Nick's and would highly recommend it. I do wish the pricing was a bit more fair when it came to full vs half pie toppings as well as the calzone.

Since my…read morelast review I've actually come back multiple times to celebrate my son's, friend's and my birthdays as well as had regular dinners. Most of the time it's been a good experience. But this time I came as a much larger party and won't be back, at least not with a large party. Overall the food at this dinner was pretty good and waitress and servers were great. But, I was however extremely disappointed that I had a reservation and had to wait outside with my party (2 were seniors) for 25 minutes bc our table wasn't ready. My sister and parents got there 15 minutes early. The hostess told my sister when she got there it would be 10-15 minutes bc they were "getting our table ready". Understandable, my sister did arrive early. Fine. After about 15 minutes or longer, bc it was already passed our reservation time, I go in and ask the hostess about the table, who rather pointedly was like ummm, I already told another person in your party that we are getting your table ready. I was like oh ok. And she then says it will probably be another 10-15 minutes bc we are still setting up the table. I thought to myself, it takes 20- 30 minutes to set up a table and we aren't in a private room or anything? Mind you she wasn't apologetic at all and a little curt. But after this exchange it just dampened the mood for me. At the next 15 minute mark I asked (3rd time) and a different male host finally tells us it was bc there was another large table who was sitting for a really long time (his words) and wasn't getting up although they paid 20 minutes ago AND he couldn't tell us when the table would be ready. I'm thinking, so you can't politely tell the table that they had another reservation that's been waiting even after they already paid 20 minutes ago? Fine, whatever, but you know how many restaurants I've been to where they have done that to my party when another reservation arrived? We finally get to our table after waiting a little while longer and it was extremely cramped, uncomfortable and we were all squished in. I was so embarrassed that I picked this restaurant with my parents (bc they can be picky) and family for such a special occasion and overall it was so underwhelming, everyone in my party was a little annoyed bc of either the waiting, the exchange, and/or the tight/cramped table. Honestly, the attitude/tone I felt this evening, which I'm sure was unintentional (or at least I hope) was that they just didn't give a sh*t about us (again aside from our waitress and servers). How sad for our party I guess. Would I come back though? Maybe, but I've had varying experiences here over the last 10+ years and not always consistent. I'd give other restaurants in the neighborhood (and there are plenty) a shot first before dining here again. I live in the neighborhood and enjoy their food and most of the service most of the time but I would never come with a large party for a special evening after tonight.

As for the mixed platters, we had lamb gyro and the souvlakis as well as the lemon potatoes and fries. The lemon potatoes were perfectly seasoned and had a nice tartness to each bite. The lamb gyro was tender. The chicken souvlaki being moist and flavorful is the barometer for the level of detail that goes into every plate served.
