Pizza by Napoli, has daily lunch specials, posted on a board, near the register, to choose from. I decided, to have The Slice Special, a small Italian Anti Pasta Salad & soda. The slice special had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions & extra cheese. It was a decent portion. The slice's toppings, were presented & arranged well and tasted amazing. The anti pasta salad, had lettuce, tomatoes, olives, chili peppers, ham, salami, Capicola, provolone cheese & onions. Today was my first visit to Pizza by Napoli, as I recently moved into the neighborhood. I went online and used their menu to order. I called in and the gentleman who answered was very nice and funny! I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, 24 wings, 12 zucchini, a large antipasto salad, and a philly cheese steak. Our total was about $50. We wanted Italian beef, but it was not on the menu. Our order was ready for pick up in about 20 minutes. The interior we a typical pizza place. Not completely up to date but plenty of places to sit and enjoy your meal. The pizza was delicious! The wings were covered in medium sauce, which we chose from 4 options (mild, medium, hot, or bbq). They were crispy and also very yummy. The zucchini were crispy and tasty. The salad was iceberg lettuce with olives, a few meats, cheese, and dressing on the side. It was okay! I will be buying from here again. read more

They have a diverse menu consisting of different pastas, subs, salads, hot plates and of course pizza & wings. The wings are the best I have ever had. All the pizza from plain cheese all the way to the fully loaded Napoli Special are just delious. I have been going there since 1997 and it has always been family owned and operated. They are ITALIAN, as they speak italian and i have spoken with the owner and family and they take turns going back to Italy during the summer for vacation. It's a small town a couple hours outside of Rome. I can't pronounce it but its on the giant map of Italy that hangs in the restaraunt. The prices have always been fair. Back in 1997 it was $3.50 for 2 slices of cheese pizza and a drink. Today it is still $3.50 for the same quality. 35th ave & Thunderbird, SE corner near Subway. They show up as " pet friendly" yet refused service to my Veteran husband and his service dog. The person behind the counter identified himself as the owner and stated repeatedly "no dogs". We identified ours as a service animal ( he's clearly marked). He stated he had allergies and had the right to refuse service to anyone. He was rude from the second we stepped in and handled things completely wrong. He could have asked us not to bring the dog and stated why, instead he started the conversation by yelling "no dogs" followed by "get out". Most unprofessional display by a business owner I have ever witnessed. He was worse when I went back to tell him they were listed as pet friendly and need to have it removed. My husband has extreme PTSD and was humiliated and triggered into a near panic attack which I and our SERVICE DOG then had to calm him down from. Do Not recommend under any circumstance and if you do go be careful not to have any pet dander on yourself because you could kill the owner according to him. read more

Yes Arizona has been rated as having the best pizza in the nation but New York pizza has a life of its own - you know it when u taste it- smell it - it is special. I looked for it many years here in Phoenix and found some great pizza but wasn't finding the pizza from my childhood - big flat cheesy tasty pizza that you gotta fold and eat! I've eaten here several times and the quality of the food hasn't been consistent. The pizza itself is great. Nice thin crispy crust especially if u get it right out of the oven. The sauce has a tangy kick to it. A bit different tasting than your standard marinara but it works. The slices are huge and tasty. I would recommend taking your food to go as the inside of the place smells strongly of fried oil. Seems that they fry a lot of chicken. It can be smoky in there at times and your clothes and hair definitely smell like grease when you leave. Speaking of oil... The first time I tried the hot wings I was quite impressed. I'm constantly on the hunt for good hot wings. Nice crispy wings with a great simple hot sauce. Today I tried again and the meat was very fibrous and hard to chew. It tasted like the aforementioned frying oil was old and made the wings taste dirty. I'm curious to know how often they change out their oil. I think I came in on the tail end of that schedule. I was craving good Italian when I noticed this place along my drive home. I walked in during dinner time on a Friday and ordered a meatball and ricotta calzone to go.
