Nice atmosphere especially by the pizza counter. Favorite of the night was the oyster and seaweed pasta. The four cheese with honey pizza was yummy, but the crust did not seem to rise as high as some other pizzas that came out. Our server took our order accurately, but was not really available as it seems like she had to cover a lot of ground. I asked the staff member who was totally on top throughout the night with water service to provide a dessert menu, and he actually also ended up helping us get the check. Not in a rush to return but would not be against it either.

It was interesting. I'm not sure if I would come back again but I can tell they put a lot of thoughts into their menu. Service is top notch, staff are very helpful!

We got: -Risotto with mushrooms and pork belly - fine but not big enough of a portion to share. -Burrata with strawberries - refreshing and light! -Lotus root pizza is surprisingly mustardy - the softened lotus root is interesting but doesn't carry many of its characteristics, so it wasn't as present as I would have hoped. Spacious tables with bar service in the back to watch them make the pizza live.

Amazing ambience upon entry. A blend of nature with it's potted plants by the ceiling and a sense of calm stabilized by the rock fixtures anchored throughout the space. I rsvped for a table of 4 but came with 5 (4 adults and a toddler), and the host (Christian) was super nice about the extra person and also immediately offered a high chair and child friendly dining set. My LO was over the moon to be seated in his high chair with his own dining set. The space was very warm and inviting. When you're seated at the table, you'll notice the varied spices (assuming some of which these use) underneath the glass. The menus were like storybooks, where there's a story, picture, menu, and anecdotes. By way of the bathroom, you enter into a soundscape, a different realm of birds chirping and animals pitter pattering around. Took us a bit to settle on what we wanted to order but the waitress was super patient. We started with a tea - Twilight Bloom. Calming with hints of tartness. Perhaps this is why they call it "Between Day And Night", you feel relaxed and alert at the same time. For food, we decided on: Gathered Roots Potato Fries With Sour Cream Dip & Koji Sauce - hints of cardamom. I really enjoyed this as an alternative to the usual potatoes fries. I love the different type of root vegetables. One tasted like taro, another like yucca. Smoked Duck & Meyer Lemon - the smoked duck was tender and delicious. Placing with the burrata together created a creamy mouthful of deliciousness with the brightness of the lemon added in. Seafood Ceviche, Pickles, Lime Zest & Infused Herb Oil - the way it was prepared, allowed the seafood to standout on its own. Nothing was overly tangy or salty. Casarecce With Beef And Pork Ragù - The al dente pasta was lovely with the ragu sauce. I can eat this all for myself. Margherita pizza - first time here, must get the basics and it didn't disappoint. The sourdough pizza was super thin but still had a touch of crispiness. 5 Mushroom With Olive Paste - by this dish, which came last, I was fairly stuffed. They offered hot oil with this particular pie, which was a slow heat rise. I'm impressed by the types of mushroom they used and how much they used. It's as if I had my week's intake of mushroom in one day. I hope to come back again and continue exploring the space itself, along with the food!

Great place for pizza and pasta! Got the spaghetti, oyster, seaweed pasta with cream sauce and the four cheese with honey pizza. Both dishes were really good and can't wait to come back and try more. Definitely recommend getting the chili oil to add to the pizza. Service was a little slow but probably because it is a newer restaurant and the kinks are being sorted out. The restaurant itself is beautiful and well decorated, a very Greenpoint/Brooklyn vibe. Bathrooms are also pretty and they have a lot of fun interactive pieces around the restaurant. The menus themselves were also pretty with colorful paper and had nice dyed cloths as the cover.

Such a unique blend of flavors!! Went around lunch time and we were told the wait was about 30 minutes, but it was worth the wait! My favorite dishes were the Strawberry Bruschetta salad and the Oyster Spaghetti. I would skip on the homemade pickles as it wasn't really my favorite. The vibe of the restaurant was really unique and I loved the earthy element that they had. Literally had nature music playing in the bathrooms and shell sink handles lol. Overall, service was great and the food was delicious! Definitely would go back :)

I've tried Pizza 4P's in Vietnam and absolutely loved it. Their scallop pizza is still something I think about to this day. So when I heard there was a location opening right in Brooklyn, I was so pumped! However, this location left a bit to be desired. Reservations have basically been booked out, however, their site and social media mentioned they do save a good chunk of seating for walk-ins. So showed up about ten minutes to opening on a Sunday and was first in line. The line situation is a bit disorganized since people with reservations bum rushed the front right at opening, which was fine. However, when we walked in we were immediately told that there would be no pizzas available for walk-ins. Huge bummer since that's a huge reason why I wanted to come. But alas, I remembered back in their Vietnam location they had some banger pasta dishes so we stayed. And after seeing their pizza dough proofing boxes in their kitchen, it was pretty clear they were operating on a very limited supply. We were seated at a bar top style situation right in front of their kitchen which was cool. The space is a lot bigger than I expected and the decor is pretty cool. A bit random, but very much fits the spirit of Greenpoint / surrounding spots like rule of thirds, dashi okume etc. I always like being seated in the kitchen area because I think it's so cool to see professionals in their element. That said, I feel like this place has some major kinks to iron out. Watching their staff work it's clear that their work stations are still a hit work in progress and a little inefficient. Lots of Tupperware containers strewn all over the place and felt like things just weren't dialed in which led to some slow service times for our food. Speaking of food, the most important part! So I'll say up front everything we ate was anywhere from solid to delicious. We got the following: - Gathered Roots ($12): It was a pair each of regular yellow potatoes, taro(?), and purple potatoes. Tasty, but definitely on the smaller portion size. - Burrata w/ Duck Breast ($28): So bold on flavors with the smokey duck and rich creamy burrata. Quality dish for sure. - Spaghetti with Oyster & Seaweed ($29): Best dish by a lot for me. If you like stuff like mentaiko pasta, you'll love this. This beats any seafood pasta I've tried in the states especially if you like more Asian-centric flavors. I could destroy two of these. So creamy and briney in a good way. - Casarecce with Beef & Pork Ragù ($25): Very standard ragu pasta dish imo. It's well executed. If you want something more traditional or are with an unashamed eater, this is what to get. While the dishes were anywhere from good to great, my biggest gripe was the service issues. So the potatoes, burrata, and oyster pasta all took anywhere from 10-15 minutes to come between each other. After we finished our oyster pasta, our server asked if we wanted dessert or the check. We clarified we were still waiting for the ragu and turns out they made a mistake and just gave it to another table. While we eventually did end up getting the ragu, it took an additional 20min to even get that. In total, from us placing our over at 12:15pm, we didn't get our last dish of four until about 1:30pm. To me, that's just really dragging on getting food. One of our servers ended up giving us some ice cream as an apology which was appreciated. Although I hate to say the ice cream was not particularly good. It just had way too many stabilizers in it that it was almost chewy in consistency. Pre-tax and tip, the bill was $94. While I think the food is quite quality, paying $60pp (after tax and tip) just felt a bit steep for the overall experience. I'll definitely be interested to try this place in a couple months once they've ironed out some stuff on their end and hopefully have more scale on their pizza. I know they only opened a few weeks ago so I'm def rooting for them to just keep getting better. But I would've hoped they would've been able to dial at least the food running part by now.

Opened up Resy one day and saw availability for Pizza 4P's! I still dream about the pizza I had when I went to Osaka, and though this is Vietnam-based Japanese Italian pizza, I needed to try it. Firstly, the vibes of the place is spacious, zen with a touch of fun, and bright. Secondly, the food was delicious. We ordered the: Margherita Pizza ($19) - This was good, but I wish the sauce stood out a little more. Seavegetable and Seafood Pizza: ($33) - Loaded with fresh oyster, shrimp, squid, and was cooked perfectly. I loved the combination of the seafood and the different seaweeds. I usually don't eat the ends of pizza, but the dough was a tangy sourdough flavor with a crispy yet chewy airy texture. It was great. The quality of the ingredients really reflect in the food, the portion size is decent, and the prices are not bad. I didn't get to try to burrata, but I saw dishes being made with it and oh my god it's like a fist size sack. I enjoyed my time here. Also, I had a conversation with my waiter about the bird sounds in the bathroom and how it emanated some outdoor sounds of Vietnam, He was so excited about the vibes and talked about how he wanted those sounds in his own home. Adorable and so friendly. Would recommend and come back.

Wow what a delicious dinner, so impressed! Loved the oyster seaweed pasta, burrata sundried tomatoes pizza, ragu pasta and lotus root sesame hummus pizza! We also got the lotus root and karage for apps which were very fresh and had good flavor. Everything was executed so well and we hope to be able to dine here again soon! Exceptional!

smoked duck meyer lemon ($28) - thought the burrata would make it heavy but it was so light n refreshing! - it was rich & creamy with lemon bits that cut through the richness, creating this bright zesty flavor - the smoked duck was tender and yummy too - loved this as an app; highly recommend spaghetti w oyster & seaweed ($29) - A MUST ORDER MAIN! ive never had anything like this before; it's so unique and innovative - the ingredients and flavor didnt clash w each other at all; instead it was this harmonious combo that was subtly ocean-y, briny, not too creamy - noodles were more like bucatini which i absolutely love n prefer; perfectly al dente - seaweed was the most unique ingredient of all; it got that nice chew w a bit of slimy texture; this whole plate was screaming ocean and i love it lotus root pork salsiccia & sesame hummus ($33) - had to order pizza of course given its name BUT this turned out to be our least fav - we liked the idea and all the ingredients included but the flavor didnt pull through altogether; felt like something was missing and there was no peak to each bite - it was purely salty from the sausage and the lotus root didn't particularly add much value other than the presentation - dough was also a bit saggy n droopy so wouldn't recommend rating: 4.7/5 - if it wasnt for the pizza that threw me off a little, this would easily be a 4.8 - not only did i like the app & pasta, i also love how innovative and bold they are with trying unique combos of ingredients; being unique could easily go south but they nailed it - the space felt intentional too; zen music, bright natural lighting, plants filled the space with cool tapestry all over the walls; they really are bringing the PEACE (p's) out of ppl - service was warm and welcoming; love it - would come back and recommend! A knock-it-out-of-the park 10/10 experience. The aesthetic, even down to the menu itself, is transporting and gorgeous. The staff is exceedingly friendly. They make their own burrata, and My God, is it good. The pizza was out of this world. Every bite I had was delectable. Not to be missed, a grand slam.

I want to preface this by saying I'm not a pizza person which could easily make this review more or less convincing depending on your perspective. I don't particularly find pizza too enjoyable although I do usually like the toppings. I wasn't able to secure my reservation in Vietnam, so I was so ecstatic that they were able to open a location right here in NYC. Pizza 4P's (aka Pizza for Peace) has a huge reputation in Vietnam, so I was curious to see what sets them apart. Right when I walked in, I could see lots of nature and artwork woven into the decor. I sat right at the pizza oven bar and was able to watch everyone at work. It was incredible getting to see everything get handmade from scratch which definitely added to the experience. We started off with a simple karaage that was anything but simple. The chicken itself was chunky and tender, despite being white meat. The sauces that came with it were extremely unique and addicting. One of the sauces tasted like a an elevated version of the Chinese ginger scallion sauce. For our main course, we got a pork belly risotto and a prosciutto, arugula, and burrata cheese pizza. Although I did enjoy the flavors of the risotto, I did feel that it felt a bit flat and needed some more seasoning. The pork belly on the side was very tasty and tender though. However, what absolutely stole the shelf for me was their pizza. The sourdough base was a perfect choice - it was fluffy, a little chewy and charred perfectly. And that burrata on top was absolutely heavenly. I could really taste the freshness of all the ingredients and everything came together harmoniously. I'm definitely curious to try some of the other flavors or just order a burrata appetizer.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.
