Chocolate cherry pie with bourbon chocolate sauce

Absolutely incredible pies. I have never had savory pies before trying Louis' and they're unbelievable. I just tried the curried goat and the meat was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. I have literally never had crust like his before. It's flaky and buttery and MAKES the dish. I have to drive from Harrisburg just to get his pies whenever I'm in town and always look forward to the seasonal flavors since he sources local and seasonal ingredients. It's a must-stop at the farmers market or ordering ahead for holidays. Just picked up my chocolate, cherry with bourbon chocolate sauce.

The peach pie was outstanding! The oat crumble paired nicely with the flaky crust, super good stuff

Honestly nothing too special, and quite a bit more expensive than at other places in the city and in the area. The frosting was pretty good, pretty rich, but the brownie itself was fairly dry. Nothing really special about it. Portion was pretty good though. I may come back to try a few other items, but I just didn't find this place all that special.

I got to try the plain cheesecake, buckeye, lavender, double chocolate, biscoff, and key lime pie, and honestly every single one was delicious! His cakes are made with alot of labor & love! What made this experience even more amazing, was getting to go behind the scenes and actually help make a ton of different cheesecakes. Such a fun, hands on experience getting to see Kyle in action and the amount of hard work that goes into every order. I loved hearing his stories about his childhood and his family influences. Kyle is only 31 and has owned his business for over 7 years! That's impressive. You can really see the passion behind his baking. He works incredibly hard and even sacrifices a lot of his social life to keep growing his business, perfecting his craft, and supporting his community. Small business, big story! definitely a spot worth supporting in Pittsburgh!!!!! Thank you Kyle & Lisa

Kyle's nails marketing with a very recognizable and obvious logo! We immediately wanted to get a slice of the key lime cheesecake... and luckily snagged the last one. Prices seem high until you see the size and taste these cakes!! Quick and easy service, since it's all just slice and serving! Great vendor to find at any market!

They have two cases of their delicious looking pastries, one table of discounted items, and a case serving hot items. Open that case and serve yourself the hot mini quiches and empanadas. Started with a mini quiche and a beef empanada. Hubby liked his quiche. I'm not a fan of olives and they were all over my beef empanada. Will not be getting that one again. The kind young lady behind the case helped us order our very first Burnt Almond Torte. It comes in different sizes and we chose the bar as it easily serves two. She even gave us sporks to eat it with. We really loved the Burnt Almond Torte. The inside has a soft, moist vanilla cake layered with a thin layer of icing and enrobed with more icing and topped with the buttery, crunchy almonds. We will be back for more.

I started with the quiche and enjoyed it; the crust was just average but the egg filing was very good. My wife was not a fan of the empanada so we will not get that again. It was around 10 hours before we tried our Burnt Almond Torte...wow! That dessert is something that I will eat again, and again. The toasted almonds were soooo good! They were crunchy, crispy, and perfect. The Bar Cake had a white cake inside and icing on the outside; it was heavily coated in those almonds. The person who assisted was knowledgeable about the items to a point; she did not eat anything in the bakery so it was by observation. Don't care, that Burnt Almond Torte is the real deal!
