10 stars if I could! As a New Yorker living in Pittsburgh, I take my cheesecake seriously!!! Kyle's Cakes N'at absolutely delivered. I got to try the plain cheesecake, buckeye, lavender, double chocolate, biscoff, and key lime pie, and honestly every single one was delicious! His cakes are made with alot of labor & love! What made this experience even more amazing, was getting to go behind the scenes and actually help make a ton of different cheesecakes. Such a fun, hands on experience getting to see Kyle in action and the amount of hard work that goes into every order. I loved hearing his stories about his childhood and his family influences. Kyle is only 31 and has owned his business for over 7 years! That's impressive. You can really see the passion behind his baking. He works incredibly hard and even sacrifices a lot of his social life to keep growing his business, perfecting his craft, and supporting his community. Kyle's Cakes N'at knows how to do cheesecake! We came across their booth at the Greensburg Night Market and besides the four mini cheesecakes staring you down from the booth display... Kyle's nails marketing with a very recognizable and obvious logo! We immediately wanted to get a slice of the key lime cheesecake... and luckily snagged the last one. "He's making whipped cream in front of us while we wait," I say, seeing the whipping action happen, followed immediately by piping onto our cake. "It's so fresh!" After many recommendations from friends, I finally tried Kyle's when getting a cheesecake for my aunt's birthday. The options and varietal are the best locally. While we waited he talked to my kids and gave them both a cookie. Cake was a huge hit. My aunt gets cheesecake every year for her birthday and this is a new tradition. It was packaged sturdily to survive the ride. We will be back and so happy to recommend it. read more

I immediately recognized the name because of an article that I read recently in a Pittsburgh periodical. Kyle came to my employer's cafeteria to sell his wares during lunch. He had raspberry, oreo, traditional, Buckeye, and chocolate cheesecakes and slices. Lunch started at 11a. He had 2 huge coolers filled with cheesecake. When I arrived at noon, he had already sold out of Buckeye cheesecake. I bought 2 slices of chocolate cheesecake. Even with an impressive appetite, l could only finish 1/2 a slice. It is really rich and delicious. Kyle mentioned he was invited back and will bring more Buckeye next time. Looking forward to supporting this small business in the future. read more

I gave up on cheesecake years ago, never tasted one I liked and couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. Then, for my friend's birthday I got him a cheesecake from Kyle's because it's his favorite dessert, he's my friend, and it was delivered to my house. Win, win, win. Anyway, back to the cheesecake. I have tried Kyle's cheesecakes at least 3 times now and they are some of the best I've ever had. He always has an assortment of traditional as well as more creative flavors. Best dessert at the squirrel hill farmers market! They offer free samples of different kinds of cheesecake to help you choose a flavor. Our favorite is the cookies and cream. At the farmers markets they sell mini cheesecakes which are perfect for a small birthday or celebration! You can also preorder a larger size cheesecake to pick up at the market. I believe if you order from their website they offer delivery as well! If you don't want an entire cheesecake, they usually sell one or two flavors in slices instead of a whole mini cheesecake. They also accept Venmo if you do not have cash Staff there are always friendly and they help me decide which cheese cake to get! Oh.My.Gosh. Having breakfast Saturday morning at Pamela's and assigned dessert for Sunday with friends who bake, I searched for bakeries in Millvale. Up pops Kyle's and I'm thinking, "Do I dare take cheesecake to friends who make cheesecake?" Yes. Yes, I do. So I had a short jaunt up the road in charmingly welcoming Millvale to Kyle's Cakes N'at's storefront, where I met Kyle himself manning the counter. I needed chocolate for the friend who doesn't consider it dessert unless it has chocolate, and citrus for myself. I got a mini Triple Chocolate and a Key Lime, and I couldn't be happier. The chocolate was smooth and creamy and the lime was luscious and just the right tartness. The three of us split the two mini cakes in quarters (so they get to enjoy leftovers). I wish I took a pic of them out of the box. I wish I had another one just for myself. I'll be back! read more

OMG! Okay...full disclosure...I'm inclined to think there's almost no such thing as bad cheesecake. Some are just better than others. Found their booth at a boutique market in the strip district. They had cheesecake samples and my wife and I tried two flavors before settling on the Cookie's and Cream cheesecake. The 4 inches round cheesecakes were all $12, which was reasonable and easily enough for two or three people. The cheesecake was good, nice and soft with a great Oreo flavor. read more

I was at the Bethel Farmers market in South Park. I tried the Samoa cheesecake. It was amazing, I went back 2 weeks later and he was out of it , I took a piece of blueberry and a piece of banana, both were outstanding , light and fluffy not to rich. Definitely will buy more from him read more

I happened upon this vendor at the GoodTaste! Pittsburgh Hometown Homegrown Food Fest and my hubby surprised me with Kyle's caramel cheesecake. One taste, and I got up to buy more! We also had the lemon-raspberry and pumpkin cheesecakes--Kyle clearly uses fresh pumpkin, which he confirmed. Impressive. Our overall experience with this cheesecake artisan is giving, "I love what I do and you will, too!"
