Great gluten free birthday cake for my recent birthday! It was huge, moist, delicious!

First, I want to thank my fellow Yelpers for recommending A Sweet Morsel. Without your reviews, I would not have discovered this business. A Sweet Morsel has been in business for several years. They sell products such as cakes, cookies, cookie cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Prices are reasonable, for example, $18 for a cake. My husband bought a cookie tray. It contained a variety of cookies, including snickerdoodles, pecan dips, lemon shortbread, apricot kolaches, chocolate-coconut bites, peanut butter blossoms, lady locks, and sprinkle sugar cookies. In general, lady locks are my husband's all-time favorite type of cookie. A Sweet Morsel's lady locks tasted good but were a little dry, so I rate them as 4 stars. My all-time favorite cookie is the apricot kolachi, and I rate A Sweet Morsel's apricot kolaches as 5 stars. I also really liked their snickerdoodles. The other cookies were OK.

In Pennsylvania from Florida. 9yr Olds Birthday. Ordered a 1/4 sheet cake with chocolate batter and their white birthday cake icing, 20 kids, and 15 adults couldn't get enough cake. Extra plates were needed for takehome pieces, thought it was pricey, but well worth the price, nothing but happiness in choosing this bakery.

We had a last minute small wedding due to COVID and A Sweet Morsel was there to save the day! We ordered our cake a little over a week ahead of time and they were able to deliver and provide us with exactly with what we wanted. All of our guests were raving about how great the cake tasted. It was beautifully decorated too and they even were able to add floral decorations to it. I'm so glad we went with A Sweet Morsel to be the focal point of the most important day of our lives. 10/10 recommend.

A hidden gem in North Pittsburgh! This bakery does amazing and delicious custom and signature flavor cakes (a go to for all cakes I need), custom sugar cookies, many other cookies, pastries and more! I love that they have online ordering when I forget to order a cake during business hours‍

Beautiful cookies, cakes pops, cupcakes and cakes. I ordered a cake for my daughter's 4th birthday party with PJ Masks. She decorated it with three cookies of the characters and the cake had my daughter's favorite colors. The 1/4 sheet cake is a lot bigger compared to other bakeries, dense, tall, home made batter, it was delicious! They let you pick any flavor you want.

I've never written a review for something before but feel very strongly that my experience with this company could have gone much differently so I'd like to share. I recently reached out and asked a sweet morsel to do cookies for me for my moms 60th birthday. I attached the picture below and noted it was a wine theme. They reached out to me and stated they couldn't do the metallic rose gold. I told them that was fine, to replace it with blush pink and specified that I didn't want baby pink, but blush. They confirmed that was fine. Below is the side by side of the picture I sent them, versus what I received. When I said I was unhappy with the colors they told me the orange color is a "non-metallic rose gold" and that my note of "blush" never made it into their system. (Even though They confirmed the color 4 days prior to pickup). Unfortunately these cookies completely clashed with my color scheme and I was very unhappy with them. They told me it was a miscommunication but would not fix it or even offer me a partial refund on the order because my sister picked them up, not knowing they weren't correct. I contacted them within 10 minutes of pick up but did not hear back from them until a day or two later. Personally, I think when you're paying $66 PER DOZEN for cookies, they should be sure the cookies are exactly what the customer wants. I totally understand it takes a lot of time and effort to make these types of cookies and I appreciate that and am willing to spend the money--- but not when you receive something that is so far off from what is requested. They did offer me a discount on a future order but unfortunately I wouldn't trust them again to do anything for me and I wouldn't recommend using them to anyone.

My mother loves lady locks and we were blown away by the cake we purchased! One of the best cakes we've ever tried. Couldn't even get a picture of it, before it was half gone.

Bella Christie's bakers and pastry chefs make cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and pastries. They even make custom cakes and event tables for weddings, birthdays, and other special events. Cakes are available in about a dozen flavors (e.g., vanilla, chocolate, banana, and hazelnut) with about a few dozen flavors of fillings (e.g., almond custard, mango mousse, raspberry jam, peach compote, espresso buttercream, and fruit). When I entered this business, I saw two display cases that were full of macarons, cheesecakes, mini cupcakes, cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. An employee immediately and kindly greeted me. As I was selecting my desserts, the employee carefully bagged and boxed them. She accurately rang up my purchase, and she thanked me. Here are my reviews for the desserts: Strawberry milkshake cookie - $2.75 - 4.5 stars - This cookie looked the prettiest in the display and had the most unique-sounding flavor. It was pink and had sprinkles and white chips mixed in. The cookie was a large size, and it was fresh and moist. I liked the strawberry flavor. Strawberry milkshake cupcake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - Can you tell that I like strawberry milkshakes? :) This cupcake was a good size, and it consisted of moist pink cake that had strawberry pieces mixed in. It was topped with fresh, creamy strawberry and white icing with sprinkles. On top was a paper straw, and I put it in my mouth because I had assumed that it was white chocolate--oops! Lemon blueberry cupcake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - This cupcake was also a good size. The cake was lemon yellow with a few blueberries mixed in. On top was a blueberry-flavored buttercream icing that was topped with two fresh blueberries and a lemon gummy. I enjoyed these flavors. Turtle cheesecake - $4.50 - No rating - My husband ate this cheesecake. He said, "It was fine." One additional thing that I noticed was that the plastic tray that held the cupcakes was type 6 plastic, which is not recyclable in our community. I wonder if the owners could explore other options for the tray.

I did not need a large, custom order, so I stopped by the business to browse their offerings. An employee immediately greeted me, and as I selected my desserts, she carefully placed them in a box for me. She made friendly conversation, accurately rang up my purchase, and kindly thanked me. Here are my reviews for my desserts: Raspberry vanilla cake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - I bought one slice of white cake that had vanilla frosting and some raspberry filling. The cake was fresh and had tart flavors, and the icing tasted sweet. Cherry pie bar - $3 - 4 stars - This bar contained a top layer of cherries. The flavor of cherries was subtler than I had expected. Apple pie bar - $3 - 3.5 stars - This bar contained a very thin layer of apple. I would recommend adding more apples for more flavor. Lemon pie bar - $3 - 5 stars - This bar had a strong taste of lemon and a nicely crispy crust. Cherry-chocolate scone - $3.25 - 3.5 stars - This scone was a large size. It contained a thin layer of cherries and chocolate chips. 6 various cookies - $5 - I rate the peanut-butter cookie as 4 stars, the sugar-sprinkle cookie as 3.5 stars, the snickerdoodle cookie as 3.5 stars, the chocolate-chip cookie as 3.5 stars, the oatmeal-raisin cookie as 4.5 stars, and the chocolate-cherry cookie as 3.5 stars. Of course, everyone has their own personal taste, but in general, my higher ratings are for the intense flavors.

The refrigerators had local dairy products, meat, and pierogies. I had to get the spinach and ricotta pierogies (made in McKees Rocks). I can't say no to a snickerdoodle cookie and there were pumpkin snickerdoodles too. Lots of homemade breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. It is the attention to detail that stood out to me.
