    Yuzu lavender lemonade

Another 5/5. Little bit of a line today but it's always work the wait. Ordered at the kiosk my favorite sandwich the caprese with everything on it, hot, grilled chicken, Pittsburgh company pickle on the side. Also got a yuzu lavendar lemonade from the summer sips beverage menu. I sat at the outside tables and read a book. Very relaxing!

Amazing bakery with an enormous selection that is near impossible to chose from. Everything we had there was fantastic though. It was crowded but their customer service system was extremely well organized. The aesthetic of the establishment is very appealing and comfortable. A must visit that receives the highest recommendation from me!

Coming from California, this place absolutely blew me away! The selection is top-tier, but the prices are what really shocked me--back home, a bakery of this caliber would easily cost 4x as much. Even with the lower prices, the quality is incredible. I picked up several Tigertails, chocolate chip cookies, and the carrot cake, and everything was amazing. I'm honestly glad I don't live nearby because I would live in this bakery! I visited midday on a Wednesday, so it wasn't too busy and parking was easy. The staff was excellent, very friendly and patient as I took everything in. It's a beautiful, clean spot that would even be great for a casual date. A must-visit if you're in the Pittsburgh area.

We made a pitstop here while traveling through Pittsburgh. I love Burnt Almond Tortes and heard Oakmont Bakery made a good one. I definitely heard right. This is a huge bakery and it may seem overwhelming at first, but it's actually not bad. This place is packed, and they have a deli number system where you get a number and they'll call you up when it's your turn. It went faster than I thought and our counter person was very friendly. We ordered two Tortes as well as a chocolate cupcake and a maple bacon doughnut. The donut was delicious but the Burnt Almond Torte hit the spot. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and quite filling. I could not eat it all in one sitting. I will definitely be returning.

Oakmont Bakery is a Pittsburgh favorite and for good reason! I recently picked up two small birthday cakes, one for my mother-in-law, and one for my son's first birthday. Both cakes were beautiful and tasted amazing. While we were there to pick them up, we couldn't resist checking out the huge selection of desserts and baked goods. We grabbed a few donuts to enjoy there, and they were fresh, fluffy, and delicious. The staff is always so friendly and very efficient!

THE BAKERY of PITTSBURGH! I swear everyone from out of town somehow already knows about Oakmont Bakery. And it is worth the hype!! From can't miss treats, to new creations, to seasonal items that perfectly celebrate Pittsburgh. I mean... even the social media of the bakery is hilarious and entertaining. The coolest part is that a bakery with this many options and this much fandom! You are still are in and out in a timely manner. They have an abundance of cheerful workers that constantly are shuffling through each customer via "take a number" system... and the display is so massive that you can easily see everything that you are interested in. Great selection. Happy customers. Holiday music playing. What more could you want!!

This is a bakery on crack! Way too overwhelming and commercial but not? Packed parking lot! Where to go? How do I see the goodies? Which line do I stand in? This place is too much. The sign about grabbing a ticket or not was very confusing. JUST GRAB A TICKET! Luckily our server was super nice and patient. We were lucky enoughnto find some open chair in front of the fireplace but it's a loud place. The cannoli was a cannoli. My daughter said the frosting was too sweet innthe mini cake. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious and the strawberry cheese ake was good. What I did love: the prices! For the pure and simple fact that they offer a lot for an extremely low cost I wish I had a bakery like this near me but I would want it to be less chaotic in the parking lot and more peaceful but I guess you cant have your cake and eat it too... True score: 3.5

Oakmont Bakery is a large, family-owned bakery that opened in 1988. The selection of baked goods is huge: bagels, breads, cakes, coffee cakes, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, pastries, pies, some gluten-free desserts, etcetera! This business also has a cafe that sells foods such as bagels, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, cheese breads, crepes, frozen custards, pastries, salads, sandwiches, soups, waffles, and beverages. For years, I have visited this business to purchase their baked goods. This review will provide information about some of my most recent experiences. About two years ago, I held a 50th wedding anniversary party for my in-laws, and from Oakmont Bakery, I purchased a half-sheet chocolate cake, a half-sheet vanilla cake, and two dozen apricot kolache cookies. The cut-off time for ordering customized cakes was only 2 days, but about 2 months before the party, I used Oakmont Bakery's website to order the two cakes. The website gave me many options for size, shape, inscription wording, and flavors of batter, filling, and icing. I easily figured out how to place the order and to choose a pickup time. On the day of pickup, my two cakes were ready on time and were handed to me in sturdy boxes. To buy the apricot kolache cookies, I took a number and waited until my number was called for purchasing and paying. At the party, my mom-in-law said that she enjoyed the chocolate cake, so I later ordered Oakmont Bakery's chocolate cake for her birthday. I do not usually like chocolate cakes, but I ate one piece of Oakmont Bakery's chocolate cake and enjoyed every bite of it. I also liked the flavors of the vanilla cake and the apricot kolache. Most recently, in 2025, my husband and I shopped here for baked goods. I rate the fruit tart as 4.5 stars, the the peanut-butter-fudge dulce as 5 stars (wonderfully rich!), the cherry danish as 4.5 stars, the the cheese danish as 4 stars, and the bunkerhill roll (like a cinnamon roll with no icing) as 4.5 stars.

Happy doughsant season! We got 6 doughsants(1 Pittsburgh cream which was a little much for us) and the rest plain. I think they could just be sold without the icing bc you really eat it for the texture and flakiness. The donuts were delicious as always! The filled donuts were stuffed with filling and were perfect. The blueberry donut could use some more even glazing.

Oakmont Bakery is a must-visit spot in Oakmont and truly lives up to the hype. Beyond their massive selection of baked goods ranging from cookies and donuts to seasonal and holiday treats, they also have a solid cafe menu that makes this a great stop for both dessert and a full meal. My go-to order is the chicken Caesar wrap with grilled chicken, toasted. It comes with a side of chips, but you can substitute French fries or a fruit cup, and it also includes a cookie. It ends up being a super filling and satisfying meal. During the holidays, I tried their special "'Tis The Season" sandwich, which had oven-roasted turkey on cranberry walnut bread with cranberry cream cheese and lettuce. It was festive, flavorful, and a fun seasonal option. I have also tried their chicken salad sandwich and a variety of breakfast sandwiches. I usually order online and wait for the notification that my food is ready for pickup, which makes the whole process much smoother and helps avoid long wait times during busy hours. Between the food quality, variety, and convenience, Oakmont Bakery continues to be a local gem worth returning to again and again.

This place is a sight to see! Huge building with extensive menu and baked goods options. They have a little cafe inside with made to order food (breakfast bagel sandwiches and burritos were 10/10!!). Made to order food did take some time as it was very busy on the Saturday morning we stopped in! The bakery and baked goods options were mesmerizing! Nearly anything you can think of, and seasonal variations as well. I needed to reel myself in a bit so I didn't buy one of everything. It all looked amazing! However, in my opinion many big bakeries that LOOK amazing rarely stand up to the same standard when it comes to taste. I am happy to say Oakmont bakery was not one of those!!! The taste and texture of the goodies we got was exceptional, and fully matched the look of the pastries. Would absolutely recommend a stop both for the spectacle and for the culinary bakery experience. Great job, Oakmont Bakery!

We ordered our wedding cake and five dozen donuts from Oakmont Bakery, and everything was fantastic. The cake was beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and tasted just as good as it looked. The donuts were a huge hit with our guests--fresh, delicious, and gone quickly! Per usual, it was bustling and busy there when we went to order. But the ordering process was smooth and professional, and the staff was helpful when finalizing details. Pickup was easy and everything was packaged well and ready to go. We were able to return the donut stand for a $100 refund as promised so it was a very economical wedding decision. We'd order from Oakmont Bakery again for future events. Highly recommend!

I've been to Oakmont bakery many times for baked goods, but I had never eaten at the cafe. I'm so glad I decided to try it out! You order on a kiosk and then wait for your name to be called. I got the s'mores latte and the avocado toast. The latte was sweet without being overwhelming. The avocado toast was nicely seasoned. Other than the cafe area, my favorite baked item is probably the dolces. They are a great way to try new flavors without the commitment of an entire cake. We got an almond dolce to take home with use. We went on a Saturday morning which is definitely one of the busiest times. It is always busy in the bakery, but they move efficiently and the waiting allows for time to look at the bakery cases and decide what you want. Overall, a bustling bakery with anything you could want, including bread, cakes, cookies, and custom orders.

When I entered this business, I saw two display cases that were full of macarons, cheesecakes, mini cupcakes, cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. An employee immediately and kindly greeted me. As I was selecting my desserts, the employee carefully bagged and boxed them. She accurately rang up my purchase, and she thanked me. Here are my reviews for the desserts: Strawberry milkshake cookie - $2.75 - 4.5 stars - This cookie looked the prettiest in the display and had the most unique-sounding flavor. It was pink and had sprinkles and white chips mixed in. The cookie was a large size, and it was fresh and moist. I liked the strawberry flavor. Strawberry milkshake cupcake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - Can you tell that I like strawberry milkshakes? :) This cupcake was a good size, and it consisted of moist pink cake that had strawberry pieces mixed in. It was topped with fresh, creamy strawberry and white icing with sprinkles. On top was a paper straw, and I put it in my mouth because I had assumed that it was white chocolate--oops! Lemon blueberry cupcake - $4.25 - 4.5 stars - This cupcake was also a good size. The cake was lemon yellow with a few blueberries mixed in. On top was a blueberry-flavored buttercream icing that was topped with two fresh blueberries and a lemon gummy. I enjoyed these flavors. Turtle cheesecake - $4.50 - No rating - My husband ate this cheesecake. He said, "It was fine." One additional thing that I noticed was that the plastic tray that held the cupcakes was type 6 plastic, which is not recyclable in our community. I wonder if the owners could explore other options for the tray.

It did also have a sort of weird layout where it looked like the ovens were maybe up some stairs in the back but that is not really anything that the customers need to know. After looking over the cupcakes in the display case my wife and I decided to split the lemon and blueberry cupcake which had a blueberry filling and also the salted caramel one. We ended up taking these home and then eating them later in the night. They were both decent cupcakes but the opinions of my wife and myself differed as to which one was better. I preferred the salted caramel as it had a nice strong caramel taste while she preferred the lemon and blueberry which I thought needed to be stronger. In the end though we were satisfied and happy to have been able to try more than one flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. When you step up to the window to order, you can see what an amazing job they did on the inside. It a tiny, cute kitchen and decorated perfectly. They had several different types of cupcakes available and I was excited to try a few. I decided on 3 different flavors: Strawberry Fields, Queen of Tarts, and The Acorn. The Acorn was a chocolate/peanut butter combination that features a cute little acorn-shaped buckeye on top. The peanut butter flavor definitely came out. The Queen of Tarts was a terrific lemon/raspberry flavoring. Not only did the lemon cake taste very citrusy, but there was fresh raspberry preserves inside the cake mixed with a lemon curd. My favorite, though was the Strawberry Fields. The fresh strawberries in the middle, combined with the perfect buttercream on top was just the start. On top of the buttercream icing there was a dusting of strawberry crumble. The flavor of strawberry really came through on this cupcake and it was delicious. The icing on all of the cupcakes was smooth and delicious. There was quite a bit of icing, which can sometimes take over the cake, but that is probably just personal preference. The cake, in my opinion, could have been slightly more moist as the cupcakes were all a bit on the crumbly side.
