4.5 stars. Sugar Butter Bakery is a small, local bakery. I shopped here one time, and I had a positive experience. An employee promptly served me and made friendly conversation. I saw display cases that contained cupcakes, scones, rolls, cheesecakes, brownies, blondies, etcetera. I purchased four baked goods: one cinnamon roll, two cookies, and one muffin. After I paid several dollars for my four baked goods, I noticed several slips on the wall. The employee said that the slips were prepaid and that customers could use the slips to receive free foods. How nice! I appreciate whoever paid for those slips. I ate my four baked goods at home. The snickerdoodle cookie (5 stars) was one of my favorite snickerdoodles that I have ever eaten in my life. The cinnamon roll (4.5 stars) was a large size and had a sweet maple flavor that I liked. The banana-caramel muffin (4.5 stars) was nicely sweet and was topped with a banana chip. The oatmeal-raisin cookie (4.5 stars) was medium-sized and had the right ratio of ingredients. Overall, Sugar Butter Bakery's selection of baked goods was not large, especially in the late afternoon when I went, but their quality was high. I recommend stopping in Sugar Butter Bakery if you are in the area. read more

I was there last week and was blown away by the friendliness and aroma and visuals. My friends loved the baked goods and I saved a bacon chive scone for myself. Well update: the scone was incredible. I'm not a scone girl but this savory masterpiece has been thinking of going again soon. The scone was so good, I heated mine in the microwave for thirty seconds and it was heaven. I mean seriously, so much so I had to write another review just to shout it from the roof top. The scone has bacon and chives and it light but filling. If you have someone in your life that likes a savory bfast, go now. read more

I highly recommend Sugar Butter Bakery! My husband brought some cookies home from this bakery from a work event. They were so moist and tasty! Afterward, I decided to place an order myself to share with my coworkers! I ordered half a dozen of 4 different types of cookies which got devoured! On top of that, Ange is a small business owner, baking everything herself (no small task!). This bakery is so cute! I was out in the area and searched my maps for a bakery. So glad Sugar Butter Bakery popped up. I chose a half dozen cupcakes and half dozen cookies. I will drive back just for the cookies! Some of the best I have ever had and I am not a typical cookies lover. Their cupcake vanilla icing was delicious. Excellent place to obtain anything for your sweet tooth. Only problem is everything is so delicious. It makes it difficult to decide.

Walking into this bakery I could smell the fresh scents of homemade baked goods and believe me is shows. I got to speaker to Aggie who makes all their delicious goods. Everything here is fresh and made from scratch. Whether you are looking for quick breads, pepperoni rolls, monkey bread, or strawberry pretzel salad, Sugar Butter bakery offers a diverse selection of baked goods for you to take home. I had seen they make the "Hostess" style cupcake so I knew I had to have one of those. Instead of making cinnamon bread Aggie creates it in the form of a muffin. Day old items such as danishes are on the bottom shelf. Prices here are very reasonable for what you get. They also serve coffee here as well. I ended up getting a cinnamon roll muffin, a banana chocolate chip bread, a Hostess cupcake and a red velvet cupcake for my husband. Cards are accepted here as well as cash. As soon as I got home I wanted to at least try to cinnamon muffin. It literally was so fresh and out of this world delicious!! I could smell the freshness in both cupcakes and after refrigerating them I already know they will be good. I'm glad to have found a great bakery so close to where I live. Sugar Butter bakery occupies the space formerly held by Krista's deli in Carnegie. Metered street parking is available. read more

Love this place! They are multi generational and the sweetest ladies around. The pastries are A+ and same with the cookies. I'm not a cupcake gal, but I can tell you that if you see monkey bread, snag it. So good! I make the 15 min drive to get here almost once a week. The quality for the price.. unbeatable. read more

Nice bakery in the spot that use to be Krista's Deli. Currently limited hours of 9 to 2 until they get established. Friendly staff with two young people helping out. The cinnamon roll and cheese danish were just sweet sensations. Will definitely stop back in the future, had my eye on the scone. read more

So wonderful to have a bakery in Carnegie again. I dropped In around 11:30am & there wasn't much in the case. Decided on a sugar butter cookie and some cupcakes. The cookie was wonderful, soft & fresh. The vanilla cupcake was moist and the icing was perfect. Wasn't too sweet at all. I'm not a fan of really sugary icing but this icing was perfect. Next time I'll try to go a little earlier to get a cinnamon roll. Everyone was so kind and welcoming here, I will surely be back. read more

First time stopping in this cute little bakery but definitely won't be the last! What we noticed first was the delicious smell of freshly baked goods. We gained ten pounds just breathing in the deliciousness. The second thing was the cleanliness of the little shop. We bought some cookies and cupcakes and they did not disappoint!!! The Ho-Ho cupcake was so good-the buttercream and the ganache on top was the best I've had. The cupcake itself was very tasty-and more "full bodied" texture-dense and flavorful. The cookies-the brown sugar in particular-were delicious and chewy. The little lady that waited on us was very kind and helpful. Such a great addition to Carnegie. I stopped in on a Saturday and was greeted by friendly counter staff and the owner. The flourless peanut butter chocolate cake is super tasty, especially if you are eating limited gluten. I also bought two cinnamon rolls and a lemon blueberry scone which all got a thumbs up from family. The cinnamon rolls are a good size and topped with cream cheese icing. I have been frequenting the bakery for the past year and I can say that every time I am there I have a wonderful experience. The shop is always nicely decorated and very inviting. The people who work there are always friendly and the baked goods are delicious! This week I bought a pumpkin roll for my daughter. She said it was THE first pumpkin roll that she like the cake in addition to the cream cheese filling. She raved about it. For my daughter's birthday, her only request was that she would like a cake like the photo on internet. I presented the photo to the owner and she gleefully agreed to design an identical cake.
