Such a clean bakery lounge, so inviting in atmosphere and staff. We ordered the pork buns, original, and seaweed and pork, and Chinese rice ball with crab, egg, pork floss and veggies. For dessert we also got three pastry's. In total everything was about 30 bucks. Affordable, authentic, delicious, and so worth visiting. read more

I finally had the opportunity to stop into Amy's while in the area recently. I was pleasantly surprised to see their longer than usual bakery hours that allowed me to pop in after 5pm. Everything was different and tempting. It was difficult to choose just one sweet treat so I left with two. I bought a taro cheesecake bread and an egg tart. Both were slightly sweet and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a few small tables inside for dining and a menu that includes ice cream and bubble tea amongst many other items. Every diner looked happy. If you're looking for something a little different, Amy's is a great place to try. read more

This adorable little shop on the main street offers, eclectic goodies and wrapped goods as well as a fresh bakery case and a variety of drinks. There were a lot of things here that I just never heard of before. We were so excited to try and divide up a few pastries amongst our group. If you're in this area, I definitely recommend it. read more

Delicious! Came in not sure what to expect and got rolled ice cream. I took some video of the gentleman making the second item and it was neat. Let me say that the flavors are wonderful and each sundae has a unique element to it. Inside the owners are kind and thoughtful. There is room to sit and eat, if you choose, or venture out to the surrounding area. read more

My first time at Amy's Bakery and was immediately greeted by Amy herself! There were so many bakery options and some straight out of the oven that I got to take home. Order which flavor(s) you want for your rolled ice cream and then watch them do their magic. I chose the Mr Coffee and it's so delicious with the peanut butter cups blended in with the coffee ice cream. They make your order fast. Amy's Bakery sells Asian desserts (e.g., taro cake, mung bean cake, durian pastry, egg tart, moon cakes, crepe cakes, and mousse cakes), bread loaves (e.g., black sesame, dragonfruit, taro, and coconut), specials (e.g., rice balls and noodles), pork buns, beverages (e.g., smoothies, slushies, green teas, milk teas, and coffees), and much more. Service was a little chaotic, but there was a lot going on and people placing orders. Very good selection of baked goods, smoothies, bubble teas, coffees, breads, etc.. Also some hot food items. Cute little place you can dine in or take out. We got two moon cakes - one black sesame and one pineapple. Loved them!!! read more

I stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The staff were welcoming and there are quite a few options for pastries and cake. - Beef over rice: Delicious and plentiful. The seaweed side was a good complement. It was hearty and brought me back to home cooking. - Bubble tea: Solid choice and good ratio of bubbles - Salt cream cake: The staff person recommended it and I get why it's a favorite. Mild sweetness with a hint of salt It's a cute place. I'll definitely stop by when I'm around the area again. Parking is available off the street, though I went behind the building and found more spots available. read more

Pork buns and bubble tea!! What more do you need?! The desert case always looks amazing and it's so hard to pick what to get, but the bubble tea is always a staple! read more

This is a hidden gem of an Asian bakery in the Pittsburgh area. They have so many delicious desserts like mochi and crepe cake, plus fantastic boba. I really enjoyed the chocolate crepe cake and my wife enjoyed her mango mochi. The boba used for the bubble tea has a softer, more delicate texture than most boba I've sampled, which I really enjoyed. The workers are friendly and professional and the whole shop has a charming appeal to it. Definitely recommend for some hard to find confections in Pittsburgh, even if it is out of the way for you. Totally worth a special trip! read more

I was visiting family in Pittsburgh last month. We were looking for dessert to beat the heat. Your bakery drew us in! I was fascinated by how rolled ice cream is made! It was the perfect treat after some great sushi. The baked goods were delicious for breakfast! The chocolate mochi cranberry loaf was outstanding! My dad immensely enjoyed the chocolate croissant! read more

Really enjoyed a recent visit to Amy's and trying new fare! Things I tried in order of preference: - Red bean mooncake - Egg tart - Oreo Mochi - Mango pancake The staff and Amy herself were very hospital and personable! You can tell she is passionate about her business and made us feel at home. I look forward to returning and trying more, especially some of the savory items. I literally want to experience a sample of everything. Got back in line for seconds :) read more

I needed a birthday cake for my neighbors birthday. I emailed them and within 3 minutes they responded. Amy ended up making a custom cake that afternoon and it was beautiful but also light, fluffy and delicious. My husband picked it up and got pretty excited by all the pastries and savory options in their store. 10 out of 10 experience. We have so many things we want to try. read more

Awesome bakery with lots of unique and delicious items! They aren't just a bakery with sweet treats, but also serve boba, dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice I believe. It's an awesome place. I tried the egg tarts, cream puffs, and crispy pineapple buns. The egg tarts were quite tasty. Not too strong of a flavor and relatively light, for an egg tart. They are small and perfect for a quick dessert. Nothing too crazy, but simple and tasty. The pineapple bun unfortunately didn't have any real pieces of pineapple on it. But, it was still very good. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy, and airy. It is not heavy by any means. The top is crispy and sugary, but the bun itself doesn't have a ton of flavor. There's something in the middle but it's not too discernible. Still, quite tasty. Finally, the cream puff. This was huge and delicious! It was filled with tons of cream, which was surprisingly not too sweet, and more buttery, almost. The dough is also tasty, similar to that of the bun. I'd highly recommend this. All in all, this is an amazing bakery in Mt. Lebo, and one of the few Asian bakeries near the city. Great menu, solid prices, lots of variety. Check it out! read more

I came here around 11:30am, their sign said they were closed even though they were open. Street parking was super convenient as there were a few spots reserved for 10-min food pickups. I got the matcha crepe cake, taro bread and a passion fruit green tea with tapiocas. My favorite was the taro bread. It was super fluffy and the taro flavor was subtle and yummy. The crepe cake was good, but the cream was lighter than what I expected. I guess Asian baked goods tend to be less heavy and sweet. The bubble tea was good but not something I would go out of my way to get. They had fairly good COVID precautions. The staff was very friendly. Since they're not doing indoor dining, their tables were full of stuff. It looked more like someone's living room than a bakery. I also couldn't find a menu there. It felt a bit like a mom and pop place, but with higher prices. It was overall a pleasant experience, but I probably won't come back anytime soon. read more

Phenomenal Asian inspired bakery, with a wide variety of homemade baked goods. There is also rolled ice cream, bubble waffle treats, and bubble tea. High quality products, fantastic friendly service! Amy, the owner, is extremely kind and sweet. As soon as we walked through the door, she was a breath of fresh air! The prices are a little steep, the waffle treat we had was definitely fresh and delicious, I just wish it would have had a little more to it. More ice cream for certain, and some additional toppings (around $8.50) The space was formally a rolled ice cream spot (different owner, wasn't a huge fan) and Amy has totally transformed the space to make it her own. Please note, no sign out front yet saying "Amy's Bakery" There is on street metered parking, along with a parking garage that is very close. read more

My husband and I drove 40 mins to get here. This is a lovely bakery and we love it! Her items are always fresh and so many things to try! I'll start with her egg tarts. They're creamy, custard-like and I love how the puff pastry is chewy. I've had egg tarts at other places where the tarts are dry and not as fresh. I ended up buying 4 of them. Got two durian pastries. I'm not a fan but my husband likes durian. I guess it was a bit bitter because he was a bit surprised when biting into it. Also got cream puffs, a slice of crepe tiramasu cake, coconut bread, peach bread, a fluffy cheesecake, and these delicious red bean cake moon cakes. I went overboard and spent like $70. Totally worth it! I am glad I found this place. Everyone is so nice and everything is delicious, we will definitely be back to try more items. read more

Our favorite bakery in Pittsburgh! Amy is a cake pro! We ordered a customized ocean and beach theme chocolate cake last minute for our dad's birthday. We found a picture from Pinterest. She works like a magic and made the cake even more beautiful than the reference photo we provided! The cake is fluffy, light, delightful and super tasty! The chocolate and fresh strawberries work so well together. The cream is very light and I can easily eat a lot of these haha. Her pastries are super yummy as well. I ordered moon cakes and taro pastries many times. They are so tasty! Aside from beautiful treats, she has such a sweet personality! Amy's Bakery, such a gem! read more

The only place I know that has DURIAN cakes and they are super yummy. I captured two of the durian from their fresh batch - creamy smooth and not overpowering like you normally expect from extra potent durian aromas! I do remember exactly the name but know that the rice floured balls outer exterior were chewy and delicate and the inside was silky, foamy and melted as soon as it hit your tongue. I consider it closer to how a mochi tastes but reduce the density by 5! I would come back for these again but I was warned they sell out quick so reserve 'em to guarantee. read more

Absolutely luv Amy's Bakery on so many levels! The only quality boba tea in the entire area. An amazing bakery with a lot of fresh and high quality baked goods. They have my favorite cakes. I didn't know Amy's was an Asian bakery when I walked, but then it seemed like a good idea after having lunch at the Jade Grille down the street. Moon Cake seemed mysterious and looked delightful. The great thing about Asian baked goods is...I don't like them. Most baked goods I want to eat way too much. Asian baked goods - one bite will do ya. I didn't know what to expect from the moon cake and the red bean paste inside should not have come as a surprise. I suspect this is an acquired taste, and maybe with tea or coffee I would like it more. Four stars because I think this is very likely a great Asian bakery, but I have to acquire this taste and learn more. read more

Hey fellow yelpers! We got four different kinds of crepe cake from Amy's being the peach oolong, the earl grey, the lychee rose, and the chocolate crepe cake. We also got some green tea mousse, coconut bread, and moon cake. What a spread! The coconut bread was tasty but a little bit hard (to be fair we ate it the next day and reheated it), but could be enjoyed by some other people. The moon cake for us was alright. I think it was a Taiwanese style mooncake. Not the Chinese circular one with the symbol on it. The crepe cakes were very light in flavor. One of us enjoys cream and the other doesn't so we would say...to enjoy crepe cakes you really got to enjoy cream a lot haha. Not whipping cream either like, cream cream. It wasn't overly sweet and the texture is good. They definitely taste like a light version of the teas as advertised. We gave away the chocolate crepe cake and our friends said it was good! So don't expect an overly sweet cake, very tame flavors which is good in our opinion. Some may think it's not sweet enough so just a warning. The store was super clean, we were served in a quick fashion and overall the quality was great for a little Asian bakery! Recommend people giving Amy's some love. We didn't try any boba this time, but perhaps next time! read more
