Looks Iike I'm not in the majority here, and that's okay. I didn't think this Boba was that great. I got the Black tea with lemon and tapioca pearls with 50% sweetness. Entirely too much lemon overpowering the tea. The selection of other teas isn't my favorite either. You order via the computer and then wait for your number to be called. We were visiting the library and came to try out this milk tea place. We ordered from a kiosk. There aren't too many people there so our order was delivered very fast. The latte was delicious and they are very generous with the add ons. I ended up getting a bunch of red beans in my drink. The milk tea latte I ordered is very delicious. My hubby ordered a grapefruit green tea. The drink has a much more dense green tea flavor compared to Tsaucaa tea. Later we came back and ordered an ice-cream milk tea which was nice too. read more

I had no idea I was actually close to this boba shop but I never heard of it. We ordered DoorDash in our double dashing and we selected this boba shop. We both got a jasmine tea base and they had a lot of options. I wish that they had a lychee jelly but it's okay and it was nice trying other flavors. I love the size of the drink to the price as other boba shops do rob you for the size they provide. This is definitely worth the price for the drink and they both tasted lovely without being too overly sweet or have that weird aftertaste (you know that cheap taste like some shops do have). I would definitely love to try the brown sugar boba one next time and I would return to this shop. Since this place is on Craig, parking would be a bit rough for street parking. I don't know what this place is like on the inside and what service is like but it was nice via DoorDash! read more

Their boba is to die for! I had ordered a Jasmine green milk, tea with Mini Boba and grass jelly. The grass jelly was amazing, quite literally melted in my mouth. It was also not too sweet, just the way I like it. There was plenty of seating on a Saturday afternoon. I tried an Ovaltine oat latte with red bean. I tried the red beans since I wasn't feeling like pearls and I thought it might be interesting, and it was actually a nice combo, although the red bean almost overpowered the Ovaltine. There was a lot of red bean! It was a good drink and I really appreciated that most drinks could be made with oat milk. With the red bean, there was an option to order "blend" or "no blend". I got "blend" expecting it might be like a paste, but they were just slightly mashed. They seem to want you to order from the kiosk, which wouldn't bother me except that the touch screen or interface or something was having a problem that made it really hard to scroll without closing the menu you were viewing, so you'd have to reopen it and then attempt to scroll again. There was luckily no one in line behind me but I would've felt so bad to hold up the line just trying to scroll down to view all the toppings. There is virtually no interaction with the staff if you use the kiosk. While it's not exactly cozy, there's lots of seating. It seemed like everything was pretty clean. read more

Coming from Houston, I'd say I have a lot of experiences with different boba shops (if you're from Houston, you know only the really good ones survive there. The competition is crazy). Come to find out, to my delight, that there was a Wushiland here in Pittsburgh! I was very excited, because when it comes to Asian food here... most of the quality is pretty average or not even. From my experience, what I think distinguishes Wushiland from the rest of the boba industry is their mini boba topping. At least the one that I've had in Houston, I really enjoyed the texture and "lightness" of the mini boba. To my disappointment, however, the mini boba here in Pittsburgh has not really met up to that standard. I'm not sure whether it's because I get boba from them usually towards the evening and so I'm just getting the leftovers? But the past 3-4x I've been there, the mini boba has been mushy, clumped up, and they clog even the fat straws (which if it was truly mini boba, you should be able to drink the toppings through their skinny straw). I know I'm nitpicking at just one detail, but this is the one thing, in my opinion, that had Wushiland going for them and distinguishes them from the rest of the flock! I wish they could just be more consistent with quality of the mini boba. When you feel like you're just drinking a big fat blob, it ruins the experience and quite frankly... it just feels gross. read more

Finally tried Wushiland Boba for the first time. My roasted Oolong milk tea was really good! I always appreciate milk tea with a good tea. The roasted Oolong was strong and fragrant that the milk and ice didn't water it down. It was straightforward to order from the kiosk. Although right after I ordered I wished I had ordered directly from the counter with the staff. There was a promotion of the month that I just didn't see and wasn't available at the kiosk. Service was fast and courteous. The space was also very clean and pleasant. This looks like a great hang out spot. Will definitely be back to try some of their other drinks. read more

The latest of several bubble tea places that have occupied this storefront on Craig Street. It always looks busy -- it's even stayed packed while most students are out of Oakland for the summer, so we figured it was finally time to stop in. There are some cool pieces of art in there -- including a neon sign that definitely makes a good backdrop for anyone snapping a pic of their insta-worthy drink. The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful. In addition to bubble tea offerings you'll see at any of the other shops nearby -- like bubble tea and bubble milk tea -- Wushiland has some more interesting menu items -- like the black tea macchiato, yogurt tea, and ice cream tea. I ordered a grapefruit tea off of their "top 10" bestsellers list, and it was delicious -- definitely had some sort of sorbet in it? It was very sweet, but very good. I only recently discovered Wushiland after chatting with some CMU students about their favorite boba shops near campus. Having spent most of my life in California (SF Bay Area) and college years in Irvine, CA where there are several awesome boba shops, I was surprised to find quality boba shops like Wushiland in Pittsburgh. Chatting with several friends back home, they mentioned Wushiland is super popular in LA and is a top boba shop that's also expanding their footprint in Northern California. I tried the grapefruit green tea with boba which I thought was just as good as the quality of boba drinks in California. Very refreshing and not too overly sweet. Boba was definitely at the right chewiness. Definitely high quality ingredients I had inquired about boba catering and TJ was super helpful walking me through the logistics and telling me more about Wushiland. Definitely my favorite boba spot on the east coast. The space is also very modern and open Will be back when I'm visiting CMU again! read more

Very solid boba store. I'm glad we've had so many new shops open up recently. This place serves boba with great portions and at a great price. The menu isn't too exciting, but they do make the classics well. I tried the classic black sugar boba with some extra mini pearls as well. I really enjoyed the drink. 70% sweetness is plenty, even for someone that likes a lots of sugar. They also have a honey syrup option which I tried in my drink, and I liked it a lot. The boba seemed fresh. The pearls were a great texture and the little pearls were a nice addition. They pop quickly and dont require much chewing. All in all, nice new spot. I'd visit again. Wushiland is a new boba spot on S Craig St pretty close to CMU. Its menu only has boba (no food) and while it's a pretty simple menu, it's still super customizable with a ton of options. The inside has two long tables for big parties and a handful of smaller tables for two. The inside is bright and clean.
