Not only are the workers super friendly, but the drinks are delicious and consistently good. I love the bright interior of the shop and that there is inside seating, so you can enjoy your drink inside (especially during the colder months in PA). My go-to order is a black iced tea lemonade with strawberry flavor and lychee popping boba, but there are so many flavor options that you can really mix it up based on your personal preference. Its location on Forbes Ave makes it fairly easy to get to, especially if you are a student living on Pitt's campus. Do yourself a favor and grab a bubble tea if you are ever in the area!

The boba is sweetened already, so I probably would have enjoyed it at 0% better. I can taste the tea flavor, but still pretty heavy on the milk. I had to toss my drink after less than half of it because it was too sweet. My friends didn't really like their drinks. One of them thought her milk tea was powdery and unpleasant. It's a solid spot for bubble tea with a lot of milk and fruit tea flavor options and many types of boba available. I didn't sign up for the recent Yelp Elite event at another location but it was the first time I noticed this chain carries donuts, so on this visit I decided to give one a try. They are a little pricey at $3.50 each, but a little less expensive in multiples. We split a glazed and one was enough for a snack because the mochi makes these dense! They are really delicious and I was sleeping on these previously; I would order again and maybe try a different flavor such as dark chocolate glazed, although the plain glazed was honestly perfect, allowing the texture and flavor of the donut to shine through. There is frequently a short line here but the staff is highly efficient and turns it over quickly. On this visit the family in front of me snatched my donut from the counter, and the staff was quick to replace it with no complaint, which I appreciated as it wasn't their fault either. I usually take my tea to go, but the nearby food court provides ample space to enjoy your treats if you'd like to sit for a moment.

With cute signage everywhere instructing you on there sustainability practices and fun flavors of the month, you go from first time to feeling like a regular instantly. The lattes... were.... DELIGHTFUL. We got a peppermint latte and a vanilla oat milk latte. The flavors were rich but not cloyingly overpowering. We also ordered a breakfast hand pie (why does life not use the term hand pie more often, you just feel so fun ordering one) and an Egg & Cheese Bagel. Both freshly put together and toasted to perfection. It is great when a cafe has actually delicious and intentional food. The staff was more than ready to give their suggestions and help. They kindly announce when your order is ready and wait with a smile to hand it off to you! There were plenty of cute places to sit and the decor was just so.. them. They have a restroom available and well marked as well. We may have a passport full of coffee places to try, but Caffe d'Amore might just have to be a regular spot during the journey anyway!!
