Pastries
Ashley W.

I have driven past here for a year now not knowing what they serve. Finally decided to come in and I love it. Heads up there's a process. When you walk in, grab a platter and tongs. Grab whatever item you want, place on the platter and take to register. They will then ask you if you plan on dining in or if it's to go. However the ambiance is nice. Not overly quiet, not too loud. Enough space for you to bring your laptop and work if need be. However the pasties are very delicious. I can't even say what to get first. Just start with a few items and try something new each time you come in. So many options to choose from.

Orange cream cake

Tous Les Jours is a French-Asian bakery chain that has franchises across many states. They sell baked goods (e.g., breads, cakes, and pastries) and non-alcoholic beverages (e.g., coffees and teas). This particular location is in the East Liberty location of Pittsburgh. I ate here one time. The restaurant contained several display cases of breads, cookies, waffles, bagels, danishes, cakes, macarons, and more. An employee promptly and courteously served me. I purchased one Portuguese egg tart, which cost a few dollars and I rate as 3 stars, and one piece of Orange-Cream cake, which cost several dollars and I rate as 4.5 stars. I did not try any of their beverages. Several small tables and chairs were available and were clean.

Bacon/Egg/Cheese Danish and Corn Cheese Donuts

I liked the variety of items that were available. They had both savory and sweet danishes, pastries, donuts, etc to choose from. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese danish. I don't remember what it was called, but I also got some kind of sugar donut bites filled with Gouda cheese and corn. I do wish the items were warm. They were frequently refilling items throughout the time we were there which was nice to see. I got an iced tiramisu latte which was recommended by the employee at the register. She was very patient with me as it was my first time there and answered my questions! The drink was AMAZING! It is pretty big inside but not a lot of seating and the seating that they do have is very close quarters. I do appreciate that they have wi-fi and charging stations at their tables though so we could work while we were there! Would definitely recommend checking out!

Love this cafe. The coffee is very good. We also got a chocolate pastry, a garlic cheese bread, and some sausage pastries and everything was very tasty. Excellent customer service and a very nice little seating area.

Honey lavender matcha

Okay I stopped in on a whim just to try a matcha, and I already cannot wait to go back and try so many more things! It is absolutely adorable inside! With a decent amount of seating! Lots of baked goods and delicious looking cakes! If you have a sweet tooth, I feel like you HAVE to stop in! I got a honey lavender matcha and it absolutely did not disappoint, and will be going back very soon for another one!

I thought this place was really cute. Now I wouldn't say it's appropriate for children that are young. It took a lot to wrangle them because it was very exciting. But with two adults you should be fine. We got a few things to try the one thing that I like the most was the croquette with the curried vegetables inside of it. It was super easy to figure out you just got your tray and then you picked what you wanted from the display cases. Nothing hard about it. I will say that opening the cases and getting things out if you need an accommodations I bet the staff would help you. They also have breads that you can pick up outside of the cases. I also got a unsweetened iced tea and it was delicious. I immediately sent a picture to my friends and I said that we have to go because I wanted to try more of the croquettes that they had. And having an entire plate just for yourself probably looks a little bit crazy so it would be good to go with a few people so we can all try them. It's not far from the house and there's free parking for one hour in a garage around the corner. I would definitely come here again.

Four of us stopped by around 5:30pm yesterday to hang out and catch up for a couple of hours. Tous Les Jours was the perfect place to do that! Most of the tables were taken when we got there but we managed to get a table with chairs for us. We set our stuff down and went to grab trays and pick up pastries from the cases with tongs. We got nine pastries and four drinks total and that ran us a little over $80 with 20% included. The pastries themselves were pretty good! The newer ube donut was full of filling which I liked a lot. The drinks were also very good overall. The ambiance is bright with a lot of natural lighting.

I got my birthday treats from this bakery and I am now obsessed! I got the chocolate cake, as well as a variety of different pastries. I was able to receive my order through delivery which is an awesome service option. The desserts had just the right amount sweetness and I appreciate the creative twists in their desserts. Especially the chocolate chip cookie / croissant. Now I have not had a chance to visit the bakery , but the quality of the dessert created the perfect ambiance for my at home birthday celebration. I definitely recommend this spot for your next sweet treat!

Cases filled with pastries of all sorts Yummy Tasty beverages coffees and my daughters fav UBE latte who knew? It's creamy purple and sweet and it's base is N uBE potato We also had the apple danish best way to describe it Pastries will run you about 4-5 dollars each There are tables and chairs to sit and relax All good Counter staff friendly enough The downside there is no street parking There is a pay garage outback and Not pgh meters in the back street It's all ok as in just ok

So many great items here! My favorite has to be their strawberry filled croissant sandwich. Everything is self serve (gloves, tongs, and tray directly to your left when you walk in). They have plenty of cafe seating if you want to stay and enjoy. They also have a coffees, teas, and specialty drinks. They sell cakes by the whole with variety of design options ranging for children to adults. If you come in the weekend, I would suggest you come early before everything sells out. Unfortunately, I've been here a few times in the evening where everything had already been picked over.

I can't find anything wrong with this place! It's truly so delicious and such a fair price point. The croissants were so flakey and the chocolate tasted unreal. This place literally made me a sweets person. I also like their large variety of drinks from coffee to tea to matcha. I got the honey lavender matcha, which was DELICIOUS. Additionally, they have some other foods that aren't pastries, such as sandwiches! The whole cafe is nice and clean. I enjoy the relaxing music they play. I spent a few hours here working on my laptop, and it was bliss. I'll absolutely be back here plenty of times.

I used to get them all the time in Maryland, but after moving away, it was hard to find Korean baked goods. I am so happy to find TLJ in Pittsburgh! I highly recommend getting salted butter rolls! They're so buttery and chewy! They disappeared into my stomach before I even had a chance to take a picture. I also love their cakes and wide variety of pastries they offer. They're light and not overwhelmingly sweet.

Such a cute shop! A friend and I wanted to grab a quick bite and she suggested we go here. When you enter, you grab a tray and some tongs then walk around to explore the options. I ended up getting a sweet frank roll (which was warm and had meat) and a vanilla cream doughnut. There were soooo many good options but I didn't want to overdo it. The staff was very friendly and understood how I was feeling with the overwhelming options. The space had chairs and tables which were super cute. I will definitely be stopping by again as there are a few items I want to try next time.

It has a roastery, bakery, and several cafes in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and it provides training and equipment to other businesses. My husband and I were customers of this cafe in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood one time. The menu listed coffees, espressos, lattes, teas, hot cocoa, cookies, muffins, scones, sandwiches, etcetera. A refrigerator contained yogurts, juices, oat milk, and other bottled beverages. Shelves held bags of coffees and kettles. Employees kindly took my husband's order and payment and promptly made our beverages. Some tables and chairs were inside the cafe, so we sat down to enjoy our beverages. Other customers were using the dining area to read, spend time with family and friends, and work on laptops. I rate the Chai Latte has 5 stars and the holiday Sugar Plum Latte as 4.5 stars. We enjoyed their flavors. Each beverage was 12 ounces, and their total price was $11 plus tax and tip. I did notice that the cafe was very humid because of the cold weather outside and the many customers inside. The windows had much condensation. I wonder if a dehumidifer would reduce the indoor humidity.

The front has some wicker chairs and tables which are very small. As you move toward the back there are small sitting rooms where you take off your shoes and sit on a padded "floor". The back has some more chairs and tables. Outlets are hard to find. You most likely will share a sitting area as well. One note is, I think they have a wifi limit where only a certain number of people can connect. I tried all night to get a connection and could not for any of my devices, nor could my friend. Overall the ambiance is catered toward chatting rather than studying as the tables are very small and slow or no wifi. I like the night vibes it has though, we need more late night 3rd spaces like this one!! I got a hummus plate and ginger tea. The ginger tea was just okay. The ginger was overpowering in not a good way. It highlighted the spiciness of ginger without letting any type of "tea flavor" through. It tasted more like ginger water. For a tea house, I thought it would have more depth. The hummus platter was very yummy! The pita was warm and the olive oil on the hummus added a nice touch to it. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more had the tables not been as wobbly, the WiFi worked at any point, the tea had a bit more nuance to it, and the cloying smell wasn't there. It is a very good chatting spot for late night meetings ups with great food!

I honestly have not been in the area much lately and was surprised to see its prime location on South Highland in that East Liberty, Shadyside and Friendship corridor. The inside of the shop was packed by the time we got inside so I did not get to see much of it other than the coffee bar and the large selection of baked goods. For my coffee this morning I went with a butter beer cold brew while my wife went with an iced Almond Joy latte. The menu described mine as cold brew with butterscotch syrup and cheesecake sweet cream. My wife's was described as just like the candy bar with dark chocolate and coconut topped with coconut flakes. My coffee actually ended up tasting pretty good. The butterscotch tasted somewhat similar to caramel but the cold brew was definitely the star. It was rich and strong which I always appreciate. The cheesecake sweet cream was also a nice addition as it was sweet like you would expect but also had a bit of tartness that reminded me of actual cheesecake. My wife also enjoyed her coffee and especially liked the combination of chocolate, coconut and coffee flavors. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our drinks and I would definitely be interested in trying some of the pastries next time.
