From Chicago, in Austin for the week, stumbled into PF. Here are my thots: -I needed something healthy, so I stopped by PF for lunch. Nice ambiance, friendly service. -I ordered a chicken bowl with rice and toppings. Plenty o chicken! -Toppings are like what you find at Chipotle or Subway. The tzatziki sauce was a nice touch. -The bowl was about $15, felt a little steep to me since you can get a bowl at Chipotle for $10, and I prefer C. Recommended.

We came here Sunday afternoon and overall had a good experience Staff was pretty friendly and patient with the kids which is always a plus in their indecisive moments. Food itself is pretty good and probably a bit better than average. Although my wife thought her bowl had too much rice as compared to everything else - the sentiment was "it's mostly rice" Inside definitely showed some age. It was humid in there and the main floors were slightly slippery and the bathrooms seemed really humid with floors being slick. Overall the place could use a good cleaning. Areas around the soda machine looked dirty especially underneath. They did have crayons and colored pencils for kids to play with, but nothing to color on. There was also a bit caulk for kids to used too.

First time visiting Pita Fusion and I am already figuring out when I can come back. The staff was so incredibly friendly, greeted me immediately upon opening the door and helped answer all of my questions as a first-timer. There are a lot of options to personalize your pita or bowl but also some delicious staples to go off of. I got a Hawaiian chicken themed pita and it was delicious, very filling and just the right portion.

Got Pita Fusuon for the first time this weekend to try something new. I got both the gyro and chicken rice bowls. I would say the bowl itself wasn't filling as a Chipotle burrito bowl would be but ingredients seem pretty fresh and flavors tasty. The gyro was a little bit overcooked for my liking but flavors were on point. The chicken bowl, however, did not have as much meat I would have liked and think that they could've definitely loaded up a little bit more. After eating my meal, I didn't feel sluggish and got a good amount of vegetables -overall a pretty healthy meal with room for a ton of customization . Service was quick and I hope to be able to try some more items from their menu soon!

Been craving a Gyro recently and this happened to be a block from where I was headed for an appointment. Stopped and ordered the gyro from the menu and it is fully customized like a sandwich shop. I got the white pita and a few of my favorite toppings. I was looking for the shawarma cooker after I placed my order but didn't see one and that made me a bit skeptical. I think the proteins are all pre sliced which at this point I don't care as long as it's good food. The gryo was as good as I expected from a fusion spot. I'll try something else next time I stop thru. This wasn't bad at all.

This is a perfect place to get a quick meal to go! I came here to grab something for dinner and the food was great and the worker was super sweet and gave me good suggestions. I got the chicken cali on white with spinach, romaine, tomato, tzatziki, and jalapeño ranch. It was so yummy!! The chicken was seasoned really well and the veggies tested pretty fresh. The restaurant itself was pretty simple, nothing fancy but it is perfect for what it is.

My salad, which does not include lettuce. $14 for less than 2 cups of food.

We ordered this for the first time today. Paid $14 for the photo shared (about 1.5 cup of toppings) for a 'salad'. Didn't receive garbanzo beans on salad, nor the side or garlic sauce we paid for. I called and the lady said 'we don't give you lettuce with a salad, you have to order it'. Ok, weird. What about the garbanzo beans? 'We're out' what about the garlic sauce 'do you think you're not tasting it or did you order it on the side' on the side 'I'm so sorry' ya, this isn't a great first experience 'you're welcome to not shop with us again' so, there you go. I would not order take out here or to expect them to get your order right

I…read morearrived around 1pm on a Wed and it was pretty hopping so don't expect it to be empty just because its a weekday! I put in a to-go order for a kibbeh wrap; the price seemed typically high for the area, but when I got my order its quite a sizable wrap so all-in-all a pretty good deal! The food did take about 20 minutes to come out- I wasn't going to complain as there was a line of people the whole time so I could tell it was busy, but when I did get my food they apologized for the wait and gave me some free baklava so even if there had been hard feelings that would have 100% fixed it lol I'm a huge baklava fan and had actually been considering adding some onto my order but didn't because of the long line! So service was great, but most importantly- the food! The kibbe wrap was huge; I managed to finish the whole thing but in two different sittings lol. The kibbe was generous, and the pieces were flavorful and juicy. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the whole thing was lightly sauced but the flavor of the kibbe popped enough that I didn't think it needed more sauce. Delicious and I would 100% order again. Plus the (free!) baklava was top notch! Sometimes you get the ones where the filo dough is a little tough/chewy and it still tastes great but the texture isn't there- not with this baklava! It was tender, delicious, and a perfect end to the meal. Parking was limited on the street but I believe the Triangle has garages also- I was able to snag a short term parking spot for MezzeMe which is actually why I originally decided to check it out!

Lamb beyti - loved the flavors here, kinda was giving a Mediterranean take on ravioli in the to-go box. Not sure if that was meant to happen, but we enjoyed this and the sauce on it! Chicken shish kabob - The wrap was massive, missed on flavors here BUT quantity was more than enough. Falafel - about average? Overall the lamb beyti carried, and I'm curious to try everything more fresh!

After my first visit, I know I will be coming for a long time to come. My partner and I came here on Friday night and despite not having reservations, we were able to snag a seat outdoors immediately (indoors would have been a wait so if that is what you're looking for, I highly recommend reservations). The place itself is really cute and has am aesthetic vibe. I have heard that the indoor section can get really loud but that is not at all an issue with the outdoor seating. Our server, Pedro, was incredibly kind and attentive. He took the time to ask about dietary restrictions and marked up the menu so we know exactly what we could eat. He was also just a real fun server and made our experience even better! As for food itself, words can't describe how good it was! - We got a few drinks to start. I ended up having their aperol drink (it came with an ice cube made of aperol as well!) and an everything martini (think of an everything bagel but in martini form. yes, you read that right). Both were good but I definitely preferred the the aperol drink (it's just more up my alley) - We opted for the traditional hummus for our first visit and it was great. I'll def be trying their grilled corn one next. - The whipped feta deserves its own review because nothing should be this delightful! So light and garlicky. My partner doesn't like sweet things so he was a little nervous about the hot honey but its so subtle. - The frena (bread) that comes with the dips is the perfect compliment - The smashed cucumbers were refreshing and did not taste anything like I expected it to (in the best way possible). I thought I knew what it would be but it was something else entirely. - We ended up sharing the mushroom skewers which could easily feed two people, especially with how many other things we ordered. Overall, it was an incredibly experience and we will be back to try more menu items (which change seasonally!) and to have some dessert which we didn't have during this visit as we were so incredibly full.

Nice selection of wines by the Glass - I went for a crisp white from Greece and my colleague enjoyed Chianti. We opted for the lamb starter and wild grouper tagine. After we ordered, the GM Tarun informed us that he and the executive chef were not pleased with the grouper quality and offered a substitution of salmon. The dish was even better as the rich salmon (perfectly crisp skin) stood up nicely to the flavorful sauce, which was served over black forbidden rice. The lamb was wrapped in a well seasoned bread with seeds, a slightly spicy harissa and whipped feta. I would come back for that dish many times. They gifted us dumplings and a sticky toffee dessert which was very kind. Both were delicious. I don't think I have experienced better service anywhere in Austin. Will definitely come back for more business meetings and with friends in the future.

We spent around $600 with tip and fees for 5 (mixed grill, two apps, two drinks each); and while the food was delicious the meats were luke warm not piping hot, our server while very friendly was not the best at giving suggestions (basically she said everything is good lol) and wasn't able to split the check 2/3 and 1/3 instead of 50/50 ("... I don't know how to do that"), and the cocktails while tasty didn't really feel special enough to be $21-25 each. It was a very enjoyable experience I just don't know that it lived up to the price tag. For that price I'm looking for exceptional not just very good. That being said the food was delicious! Pricey but pretty good portions. The server said the mixed grill was good for around 4 people, but with two apps it was actually a little too much food for the 5 of us. Mixed grill ($220): -Rosewood Wagyu Strip and Lamb Chops: tie between these two for the best dish; they were both juicy and tender and the sauces were delicious. Not served piping hot but they were so good I didn't really mind. -Harissa Marinated Beef Tenderloin: great flavor- a tad dry. -Spiced Lamb Kefta: also dry, I liked it best with the yogurt sauce. -Red Pepper Chicken Thigh: delicious, one of my fav kabobs. -Herb & Garlic Shrimp: tasty and not overcooked -Charred King Trumpet mushroom: loved the veggie option! they mushrooms were substantial and the sauce was great. -Crispy Shallot Hummus: very good- loved the crispy shallots in particular! -Manti Dumplings: top app- I would 100% order this again the dumplings were delicious and the sauce/yogurt on top of them was the best, we wiped up every drop with the pitas! -The pita bread was hot, fresh, and delicious and our service kept on offering more, so I don't know if they've changed their policy but my experience was not the same as reviews that said only one pita per person. We refused extra pitas 3 times I think! Cocktails- everything we tried was quite good, but again there wasn't the pizaz or just 'blown away by the flavor' to feel that the crazy price was totally justified. We tried: Spanish G&T (very refreshing- don't chew on the juniper berries lol), Banana Bread Old Fashioned (pretty good even for someone who doesn't much like whiskey!), Bonfire on a Beach (fun, smokey, love the harissa on the side), Peach Martini (teensy bit sweet for me but good). The manager stopped by a few times to check on us and our server was very attentive. She did give us good service its just for the high price I would expect some more detailed suggestions on drinks, being able to split the check other than 50/50 (or at least ask someone instead of just saying 'I don't know how'). It was friendly and enthusiastic service just not 'wow this truly is fine dining' service. Outside of the restaurant, parking is a bit of a pain but that is normal for down town. We parked at the Laz garage half a block away- $8 for 2 hrs instead of the $27 for valet.
