What could be better than sitting on the beach eating lunch! The view of the bay is phenomenal. It's a dog friendly restaurant which of course is a gold star for me. We really really loved the whole atmosphere of Pirates Cove. It has a simple menu and we went for the chicken tenders and the onion rings. I highly recommend both although a little oily. I'm OK with that when I'm sitting at the beach with some amazing pirates Cove sauce it is delicious and their hot sauce which is gotta kick to it and I really love that. Drinks are fantastic.

I love this place. The food is always amazing. The drinks are awesome (especially the Bushwhacker). The atmosphere is always a good time. Where else can you beach your boat grab a bite to eat and something to wet the whistle. The service is always quick with either the food or drinks it's on point. Every time I'm in the area I always find my way back there. If you want to experience a pirate water hole definitely stop in. Always a great time

A great spot to bring your furry pet to lay out or swim in the bay. Grab a burger or a pizza or a bushwacker . Come by land or water.

How busy it was inside and out.

Drove an hour plus. arrived at 10:30 . I'm the only customer. 6 staff. I walked around. takes 2 minutes. Then stood around waiting on the staff conversation to end . Team meeting I'm guessing? NOPE. just talking about the dog . so I approached the bar. two feet away. I finally flag down a lady running around the kitchen area. she hands me off to a lady that was irritated that I was asking for a menu? the others just stood and stared at me. I would NOT recommend waking up the staff. spend your hard earned cash somewhere that wouldn't mind you having great experience!

This place is literally Dog Heaven. I cannot wait to go back. Everyone is here to have an enjoyable time, the dogs are loving life, the food & beer are a plenty, staff is super chill. I can't think of a negative! If you haven't yet visited, I would say "Get your butt out there, and don't forget to bring Fido!!" We came via boat which is a totally legit experience but I am more than willing to load up the car and head over for a lovely day chilling out by the water with like-minded people!

Cute little dive "family" bar next to the water. Places got the kids to swim and socks for your boat! We tried the bushwhacker. It was just okay for us. We ordered the cheeseburger and it was good except tons of mustard, I think that's the special sauce. Staff was friendly. Place needed someone to bus the tables. I think we'll come again. I think you come for the water and drinks, the experience.

It's a great spot for boats. They have a large area for everyone to get in the water. Food: 7/10 Burger : 6/10 Fully dressed or not at all? - wack It's like a drunk food place lol Bun was so soggy but meat was actually good. Fries : 7/10 Free refills on soda. Website does not mention the Menu is cut in half during the week. Pizza only on weekends. Staff was not very friendly I guess they are not payed to be friendly anyway. Food & atmosphere will bring me back. Staff could take a class on kindness. Felt like I was being fussed at to order.

Way too many dogs. I can't imagine this being a sanitary place with the amount of pets allowed near the kitchen.

Gee, Onion rings, but I don't even think that's vegan. Try Fishers.

My advice, find a seat, have someone order at the order window, then head to the bar to order drinks. The wait to order food took about a half hour. It was very quick to get our drinks. We were able to snag a couch area on a platform. It was so comfy and we loved the views. A heads up- if you snag a couch like this, kids will get up on the platform and jump off of it. People will step up on the platform and walk extremely close to you. I had to ask a kid to stop throwing sand by us because we were eating our dinner. It was a little chaotic. We were extremely patient and understand, but I could see some people being very upset and annoyed. After ordering, our food came out pretty quick. I started with the coconut grouper bites and they were phenomenal. Light breading, lightly sweat, and flaky. I had the Gulf Grilled Cobia and it was phenomenal. The fish was tender, flaky, and light. No fishiness at all. The sauce on the fish was also delightful. My husband and son had the fajita skewers and both enjoyed them. My husband also had the peel and eat shrimp and said they were amazing at The Gulf. Our drinks were okay. We had better drinks at other places during the week, but they weren't bad. We would return, but try to come on an off-time that wasn't so busy.

Our meals came with fries and the fries tasted like they were cooked two hours ago in old frying oil. Then, we ordered drinks, I got a margarita and it tasted super weird like they put a bunch of club soda in it?? So yeah the environment was nice but if you go I wouldn't order anything. There's another restaurant across the street Cobalt that we went to the night before and their food was amazing! The food quality was way higher and the prices were great!

We were seated immediately by the staff and sat outside with awesome views of the marina. For an appetizer we chose the crab and shrimp dip served with naan bread. The dip had plenty of meat and sprinkled with thinly sliced parm. The naan bread was hot as well. I chose the Bayou Cajun Pasta that was full of sausage, shrimp, crawfish and peppers. It was piping hot and the spicy level was high but not spicy hot. My son had the shrimp and fish basket. The shrimp were large and perfectly prepared. The fish came with the tail fin on it and was delicious. Finally my daughter-in-law had the shrimp scampi and she said it was delightful. Thanks for the great food and service.

The inside of the restaurant was beautifully designed, with an upscale beach vibe right on the marina. As well as, a tiki bar for drinks and more food options. Lots of outdoor seating is available during the warmer months. Offering a lunch/brunch menu from 10am-3pm mon-sat, opened at 9am on sunday and dinner menu till close. I had the Shrimp Scampi & brussel sprouts to eat and the Orange Beach Sangria. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The pasta had an overpowering lemon flavor and the brussel sprouts in a vinegar-like dressing. Overall, this was a good experience wise from service to ambiance, but the food could have been better.
