Pinstripes Houston Happy Hour Done Right! Pinstripes Houston nails the Happy Hour experience! The Margarita Italiano is a must -- smooth, citrusy, and just the right kick. Great drink specials across the board! Food-wise, everything we ordered hit the spot: the Margherita Pizza, crispy Brussels Sprouts, golden Calamari, bold Spicy Wings, juicy Tenderloin Sliders, and those crave-worthy String Truffle Fries. And the service was absolutely outstanding -- a huge shoutout to Josh and Jasmine who were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Whether you're here to bowl, sip, or just chill, Pinstripes delivers. We'll be back!

Parking garbage, but charged 5$ per hour. That is sad. Maybe good for a date night. Will come back and try the food another time. Tuesdays are 2 fer. Bowling 15$ per person. Ouch. Parking, bowling, bocce, food and Drinks. Add up to an expensive date.

Came in Sunday afternoon after church for brunch and bowling. The parking is located in the garage connected to the building and it is priced by how long you stay. Pinstripe is on the first floor facing Kirby and we took the elevators down. They have a brunch buffet on Saturdays and Sundays for $30/person and the bowling was $20/per person/ hr. You do not have to pay extra to rent the shoes and they also give you socks! When we called to reserve the lane, we inquired about the brunch as well. The girl said that we could eat brunch while we bowl, we just had to get the food and bring it upstairs. We arrived around 12:40 and they escorted us to our lane and helped us get our shoes. The ladies were very nice at the check-in desk. The bowling area is upstairs and is actually kind of small, but luckily it wasn't busy when we arrived. They only have about 15 lanes and every two lanes share a table in between. It makes your bowling area very small to sit only 3-4 people on your side of the lane. I'm also not too crazy about sharing a table with other strangers. Keep in mind that your time starts as soon as you check-in. I noticed that because by the time we went upstairs, got our shoes on and set up our station, 10 minutes was already deducted from our time. I feel that is a little unfair to not let people get settled first and start the timer when you start your first game. Also for that same reason, Bowling first was actually a mistake. You loose your bowling time by going downstairs to get your plate and it was a hassle trying to bowl between every bite of food. We already wasted time going to get the food, so we couldn't eat in peace. We couldn't even finish our second game. If you want to take advantage of brunch and bowl, I recommend you eat first and then go upstairs. We would have waited until we finished bowling to eat, but the brunch is over early at 2pm and they clean up quick. Which is too early in my opinion when most brunches end around 3:00pm. Brunch would have been over by the time our hour was done, so we had no choice. Plus, the menu upstairs during brunch is very limited. Ultimately I wasn't happy that the staff gave that recommendation to eat while we bowled. The brunch food was actually delicious and I loved the wide selection of foods. They had a waffle station, omelet station, ham/prime rib carving station and a variety on the buffet line. I would have definitely had a better experience and enjoyed the food more if we sat to eat first. I didn't get to try everything at the buffet because of rushing to get back upstairs, and there were a few stations unattended. I couldn't wait for them to get back. I would want to come back to try the brunch again, but I know better for next time. Also Next time I'll have more time to take more videos and pics. I barely had time to do that so I didn't waste more of our bowl time.

Pinstripes is a more upscale bowling alley in the Houston area. It gets pretty popular on weekends and I was lucky to call and get a reservation as it wasn't showing on the website as available. (Pro tip) The biggest complaint I have is the disorganization/slow speed of the staff. The staff member who helped me didn't know how to process the gift cards as they had shown in the promotion and the other staff members looked to be overwhelmed with the guests coming in. I could tell that other guests were inpatient from waiting too. I got there within their grace period time but had to wait for them for an additional 7-8 minutes, taking away from my bowling time. Then we had to wait for that same person to escort us upstairs and choose the shoes. I think they could greatly benefit from better workflows and better trained staff. Once we got to the bowling area and started we didn't have any issues. Our waiter checked on us often but was super busy so we had to wait at times. The food we got was a mix- Their wings were delicious. We got 2 orders of sweet chili. 8/10 Their truffle fries were ok. 6/10 And their pizza was fresh but not that great. 4/10 From bowling for 2 hours for 4 people our total came to about 130$. And then the food (all I listed plus a Pepsi) was about $66.

Not big on bowling cuz i suck but this is the biggest and best alley. My job likes to come here and do happy hour and order party catering packages. All the food is good but I just experienced their brunch. Blew me away with the amount of options. So worth it! Definitely come hungry because the waffle bar, pastas , and more shall not be missed

Okay, so we finally stopped by to check this place out. I'm giving them a 3 from my POV, but they are a solid 5 if you have kids. You can park in the attached garage and they will validate your ticket. There is also valet for $10. We walked around to the entrance and were quickly seated. The place is spacious, but tables are really close to one another inside. If you like your space you can sit in the patio. The Brunch buffet is served on the first floor and regular dinning and bowling is upstairs. The brunch buffet has an assortment of, just to name a few; salads, fruit cups, parfaits, pastas pizza, chicken tenders, baked chicken, bacon, sausage, biscuits, eggs, skillet potatoes, smoked salmon, croissants/bagels, omelette/waffle station and dessert table w/ chocolate fountain. Kids under 12 eat for $16, so again I say, a great option for kids. Lucky for us, we had my two little cousins. So it worked out. Enter freely they've been approved:)

I've earned my stripes, and I can pin that experience on Barbi and her friends dragging me here. Summary? If you want to go to a fancy place with multiple levels of stuff and play some pretty cool games for a pretty high price in a very trendy neighborhood, this is your place. We don't have the money for stuff like this, even though we just live down the road, but it's still really cool and a very innovative concept.

I came on a Friday evening. Finding the place from the parking deck proved very difficult. Parking in the deck is validated by giving your phone number to the hostess. I believe it was $54 for two of us to bowl for an hour. I made a reservation for 9:15 and we were taken upstairs around that time. They were very limited in their sizes of bowling shoes. I'm a 7.5 and my closest options were a 9 (way too big) or a 6 (tight but I made it work). Some people were bowling in their own personal shoes due to this. Our waitress came after about 5 minutes and said there was a happy hour menu until 10 so she'd grab the menu. She came back 15 minutes later and said happy hour ended at 8 . We ordered and started playing. The balls are themed after pool table balls to indicate the weight which was a cute touch. About 20-30 minutes after ordering, or food came. I ordered the signature Chop salad with balsamic vinegar on the side and no wonton strips. I got the salad doused in dressing (unclear if balsamic vinegar as it was quite sweet) and there were strips. My friend got a pepperoni pizza which was pretty good. They turn on the lights right at 10 despite the fact that many people still had time left on their hour long play time (including us). Overall it was a bit of a disappointment between the shoes and service but it is nice to have a bowling alley right in the city

Fun spot to bowl but you have to reserve as it gets busy. It looked like it had great food but we ate before. It had a nice outdoor patio for food and dining even if you go for just that and can wait for bowling. They also have bocce ball if that's your thing. I saw multiple private rooms as it looks like parties can be held so it's large for such events

I'm leaving 2 stars, because the food and drinks were great! Now onto the service... for my reserved birthday!! I paid $280+ ahead for my group's bowling experience and made reservations for both the bistro and bowling. Now I will admit, I was 30 min late to my bistro reservation. When i arrived, more than half my party was there waiting for their food and drinks. The server(s) never introduced themselves to me and we ended up placing our food order and having it brought to our lanes. The service was beyond slow, our tables were not pre-bussed, we had to flag down waitstaff to place orders and the icing on the cake (literally because it was my birthday) was I had to request plates, silverware and a knife to cut the cake (which the knife was dirty and we had to again, flag down waitstaff for a new one. On to the checks!! Obviously we were a bigger party (12 guests) and we moved from the bistro to the lanes. Instead of it being a smooth transition, we waited 30 minutes after our bowling experience to get all the checks together. There were double orders of drinks and food on tickets, and multiple tickets given to everyone instead of consolidating them onto one so everyone could have a total. On top of it all a 20% gratuity included. Please PLEASE P L E A S E!!! Train your staff, give groups and parties ONE server, and if possible have a manager greet larger groups. I would not recommend Pinstripes to anyone, but with the holidays coming up, I hope you all can get it together! (Photos for reference )

Went for a meeting. The room was definitely large enough to accommodate the few extra people who showed up (maybe 33 instead of 30), however they were not really able to accommodate those few extra guests. Seating. We had to go to the main dining area to get chairs to add to to our table set for 5 people. Silverware and plates. Our table was set with a dinner plate and a small salad plate and two forks, a knife and a spoon. Both myself and another guest at my table gave a plate and a fork to accommodate the two extra guests that we added to our table, because it took multiple times asking for plates and silverware to be brought. When extra silverware was finally brought, it was one fork, then two spoons, then a knife. Surprisingly, very piecemeal. They did bring extra plates and silverware when they brought out dessert. The food. Each table of five, or in our case seven, was brought three appetizers, a main entree of ten pieces of dark meat chicken, a huge serving of spiral mac and cheese, asparagus and a shared cheesecake dessert. Everything was served family style. So for our table of 7, we still spilt what was meant for 5. Since they did not make extra food, they were not able to bring out more to accommodate the additional people at our table which was surprising as I assume they have a kitchen at Pinstripes. No vegetarian entree was offered either. As far as the food, the salad was the best part of the dinner. The rest of the food was a bit underwhelming. Although, I did not leave hungry, I was not impressed with the food or service. The meeting room is next to the bocce courts which looked nice. The room was quiet and the A/V was good. The bowling lanes are down the hall. Neither were included in our experience, but both looked clean and like a nice activity. Parking is $10, but was validated for our meeting. The signage from the parking garage to get into Pinstripes is a bit confusing. There was a piece of white paper that said "enter Pinstripes here" taped onto the door to the stairs. There should have been another sign taped onto the next door, but there was no sign. So most of our party, walked down the stairs, went around the building, entered and then walked up another flight of stairs to get to the meeting room. I did ask and on the way out, the meeting room was literally on the same level as the parking garage through two sets of doors (one that was unmarked). For a meeting where an activity like bowling or bocce is part of team building, this might be a good place to go. For a dinner meeting only, I would look somewhere else.

I don't know where to start. Eating at this restaurant was a complete disaster. The restaurant was almost full, and it took more than 30 minutes to take our order. Then the food arrived relatively quickly, but the waiter left us without cutlery for about 10 minutes. The food was already cold when I could start eating. The drinks arrived at the end of the meal, and I even had to ask for water. The pasta tasted like it came from a pot. I will definitely not return or recommend this place.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a friends birthday brunch. When you arrive you can either valet park for $10 or you can pay to park in the garage in which the price depends on how long you stay here (I believe 24 hours is approximately $10). We were able to get our parking validated at the host stand when we left. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor so you'll need to take the elevator elevator from the garage to the bottom level. On Sundays, they have a brunch buffet so it was an all you can eat situation. They had a variety of meals from pizza, pasta, bacon, eggs, veggies, salad fruit, waffles, omelette station, prime rib/ ham station and dessert station. Literally everything was good. The food was hot and fresh and they made sure to keep replenishing it throughout the afternoon. I was also very pleased with the customer service of everyone that I encountered. The servers, the chefs, the management team walking around, everyone was so pleasant! The price of the buffet is $30 per person but if you want to do the bottomless mimosas that's an extra $22/person so just an fyi. Afterwards we went bowling which was on the second level of the establishment. I'm the bowling ally is a little smaller compared to other bowling allys I've been too. Maybe about 16 lanes-ish (I could be wrong). It was cool, they played some music in the background and we had a server (Francesca who was super dope) in the event that you wanted to order food/drinks. All in all, this was a great restaurant to attend.

Is it $25 a person for an hour?

$27pp/hour when we went on a weekend night

Is there a rental fee for reserving a lane for bowling?

    No, pay walking in, perperson

    Is there a dress code?

No, I've visited with casual clothing and another time with gym attire but consider what's on your feet because bowling shoes are required to bowl.

Can you eat and bowl at the same time?

Yes, you can. If you have a lane and order food, they bring the food out to your lane.

    Is bowling reservation only?

It's best to make a reservation; I have never had any luck walking in to bowl.

    What is price for parking?

No fee if you bring in your parking validation ticket for the hostess to validate it by the end of your time at pinstripes

    Is parking validated?

    Yes it is !

Well apparently the consensus is "YES." Children are allowed. I however find it more suitable as an adult venue. It's very posh and upscale. I must say that I was annoyed with people at the grand opening not watching their little darlings as… Read more

The pork chop had a beautiful char and was full of flavor--slightly undercooked, yes, but still delicious enough to carry the whole meal. To top it off, there are not many choices period. The waitress explained that the left side is basically the apps, and the right side is basically the entrees. I knew I wanted to try the wagyu flat iron steak which is priced pretty high here, compared to other wagyu flat irons I've had at other restaurants across the US. We couldn't really decide on a 2nd main dish then the waitress mentioned the off the menu special which was a scallop pasta so we picked that thinking it sounded delicious. The entrees come out about 15 mins later, and we take our first bites and we both thought, oh no, if we share the other person across from me isn't going to like this dish because it's too salty. I tried the steak first and noticed the sauce being extra salty, then I tried the pasta and the pasta was way worse, but the scallops didn't seem to be affected. We immediately told the waitress the next time she stopped by....and she just said okay, and walked away. I figured she would go get the manager....but nope...she just kept on serving other tables. At this point we thought to ourselves only the oyster app was decent.....and no reason to look at the dessert menu since we had already spent over $100 on food we could hardly eat. Sure enough, the waitress stops by a 2nd time and asks if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I couldn't leave fast enough and told her we'll skip. Needless to say we both left hungry as the portions were not only not edible, but also fairly small. The water boy also stopped by and offered to turn on the heater if we get cold. Boy, I wish he was our waiter instead. For a supposedly Michelin-starred restaurant, I feel they really got this one wrong.

Their chicken sandwich is a must try and has gotten well deserved accolades. Perfectly breaded, toasted bun, and very juicy. We paired it with the churro French toast, an almost cloyingly sweet (but perfectly cooked) dish that definitely needed a savory balance. Their bacon is delicious, super thick with a slightly herby flavor. The evening hours can get loud between the crowds and the DJ, but the vibe is still really cool and chill. Definitely one of the more unique, fun spots of the Montrose/Upper Kirby area.

The only unfortunate part of my experience was that the two of us at my table got the same dish - biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was dense but softened under the rich and savory gravy, and I got my eggs over easy to get the yolk mixed in. I also added some of their house-made habanero curry hot sauce, which is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely have to try a few other dishes next time! Their coffees are also great, with unique flavors for their lattes like spiced guava and molasses. Both of these were super tasty, hot and iced! Ultimately 93' Til is staying on my brunch list as a top tier choice, I can't wait to come back!

Yet we had to wait for some time before someone came to seat us. Our water glasses were not refilled unless we specifically asked. The staff were also pleasant and attentive, checking in on us and making sure we knew what dishes were new and popular. Based on recommendations, I got the lasagna, which was designed based on the Italian flag and was stunning-both in appearance and taste. Each bite was balanced and flavorful, going well with both of the sauces. The chicken parm was also elevated in flavor, giving a home-like and rich feeling to each bite. For dessert I got the chocolate mousse and it was rich heavenly bliss. The meringue and mousse went perfectly together in both flavors and textures. A wonderful experience!

Bottom line is that Milton's should be your go to place for just good old Italian fare but in an upscale but not stuffy atmosphere. Mark Sayre - the restaurant groups beverage director hosted the charity dinner for my wife and I and 4 other guests. We were served 9 courses family style including a couple of cold plates, a couple of salads, a couple of pastas and a couple of entrees along with a dessert. Everything was fantastic and Mark did a great job of hosting and explaining the wine pairings. The best of the apps was the Sicilian Tar tar. Tuna, scallop and salmon perfectly marinated on crostinis. The Hearts of Palm Salad was excellent, and they are definitely sharable, probably made for 3 - 4 guests to share. Of the two pastas the Cresta De Gallo stood out the most, but the Bolognese was also virtually perfect. Of the two entrees we enjoyed the Chicken Piccata slightly more than the Hanger Steak. On our second visit, Ryan was our server. He had been our server at Underbelly, One Fifth and Georgia James in the past and remembered us immediately and was a wonderful host for the meal. This time the table enjoyed the Chargrilled Oysters and the Parsley Salad to start. We also sampled 4 pastas - The Cresta De Gallo again, the Chitarra with Scallops and Uni, the Lumache with Vodka Sauce and the Sourdough Tagliatelle. All were fantastic. My personal favorite was the Chitarra. In the end we finished off all 4 so no leftovers. We then shared the Chicken Piccata as our only entree. This dish is so good. Juicy Chicken, flavorful sauce, and the Sourdough Tagliatelle was the perfect accompaniment. We also enjoyed two desserts - The Budino (which is more like a chocolate tort than a pudding) and the Tiramisu. Both wonderful. If Milton's wasn't over an hour from our house, it would become a regular on the rotation. But it is definitely good enough to warrant many return visits.

The team behind the popular restaurant Nobie's opened up this tiki inspired restaurant. Tiki bars happen to be one of my favorite varieties of bars so I was more than excited to finally check it off my list. I had recently seen them on the Food Network as well. They share a lot with another popular dining spot so parking can be a little difficult in their lot. You can find street parking or park across the street in an overflow lot. Customer service was great from start to finish. We had just ate next door and our intentions were to come in here just for cocktails, but I couldn't leave without trying some of the popular items. I wanted the most tropical drink I could find on the menu so I started off with the Blue Hawaiian. I saw fire on the description so my extra self needed to have it. I'm a big rum guy so this drink was right up my alley and very boozy with two types of rum. It was very coconut forward with pineapple being the secondary flavor. One was enough for me to feel just right. Since we had just ate, we decided to share the World Famous Cheeseburger. This was a great burger. I don't know if they were going for the smash effect, but it had smash burger characteristics. It had all my favorite things that are musts on a burger like American cheese and red onions. It also had a very nice chili aioli that added great flavor to the burger. I came on another stop for a drink visit shortly after and tried the pork dumplings and popcorn chicken. These were also very good. If I lived in the area, this place would easily be a place I would frequent often. I will most definitely be back!

We ordered coffees along with the crab hush puppies, gumbo, avocado toast, and ended with their massive cinnamon roll. It was the perfect spread and everything was so flavorful! She provided excellent service along with her assistant, Jonathan. Enjoyed an espresso martini & tried some of the carajillo! Appetizers were the highlight of this meal (minus the hamachi crudo; sauce was super weird). Enjoyed the woodfried oysters (6pc) & gulf crab hushpuppies. Oysters from Texas & Alabama were delicious! Faves were Key Allegro, Mermaid Tears, & Matagorda Pearls. Capo Hugo was alright. Sides: pommes puree (whipped potato) & wood grilled asparagus - these were good Got a bite of the overpriced burger and that was the best entree out of the ones that were ordered. Fries were delicious and addicting too! Classic blackened redfish was ok; nothing special. Le Entrecôte (steak frites) was also ok; some steak pieces were hard to chew. Was NOT a fan of the lobster fettuccine. Surprisingly bland and barely any lobster meat for the cost of that dish. Ended the night with dessert. Basque cheesecake tasted great! Banana foster was pretty good. Grab a cookie on the way out of the restaurant! Don't see myself coming back here for dinner, but I'm open to trying their brunch menu.
