40all Jamie and Alexis were the friendly bartenders on Friday early evening (3/29/24) when me and a group of 6 friends visited for Happy Hour (M-F, 4-7pm). The $6 frozen pineapple margaritas I nicknamed, "Spongebob's Sunrise House" was tastier than the frozen strawberry margarita Jamie let me sample and the "Dulce Vida" well tequila shots were sweet, as promised. The day we visited there was a huge wedding party there so we were nicely asked to relocate from the patio to indoors after sitting at one of the benches (there weren't any visible "reservation" signs). On Friday nights 40 All promotes "Ladies Night" on the website where a group of at least 5 women are guaranteed a free champagne bottle. Unfortunately, it did not appear this was a common special utilized by patrons; we'd asked the bartender about wanting to redeem the special as promoted on the website. With it being her first week, she double-checked with the manager who then asked us to show where we had seen the offer listed (on the website). After three courteous reminders over about an hour and a half, we got the champagne bottle (that came with two juices, cranberry and pineapple). It generously accommodated our group of 7 where we were able to drink one flute each. A nice incentive to kickstart the Friday night. Everyone who ordered food enjoyed it (wings and mozzarella sticks). The bathrooms were also very well-maintained and clean. Valet parking is available for $20. I was able to easily find free parking on the street (after 6pm on a Friday). I think this would be a great place to visit with a group of friends on a bar stop, though with not many expectations for the Ladies Night special...

Came here to see the astros vs rangers play against each other for the World Series. Lotsa tvs indoors and outdoors so take your pick. We came to play pickleball though. There's one pickle ball court. They aren't currently charging and the guys playing wrapped up so we got about an hour in. The outdoors has nice fake grass. Swinging chairs at a few tables. And a beer pong table. The Indoors is nice and cool. Music that was playing is top 10. Parking can be free on the street or there's valet. Will try the food next time. It was happy hour so we split a bottle of wine. There's also a hookah bar.

Peeps! Yup. This is a great spot for sports, fun, and everything else a late night run promises. The service is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is perfect with the open space and a DJ who knows what he is doing. If you like the Axlerad/Brazil feel, you will love this spot. Ask for Victoria from Louisiana at the bar and thank me later. I'll be back! #Pkast

I ordered a sidecar and paid damn near $20 just for it to look like she took a sip out of it and it was nasty!!

We only had drinks. I liked the mango mojito. I also ordered a michelada but was room temperature and had way too much Clamato sauce.

The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for somewhere social but still comfortable. The drinks were good, and overall the vibe was on point. It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends. One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.

(easy to get a drink thanks to the waitstaff circulating the floor) The beer selection is consistently good, and the overall vibe gives you that classic British pub feel, reminiscent of the Sherlock/Baker Street pubs I frequent back in the day. That said, the food was a letdown for me on this most recent visit. I tried out their fish and chips (even upgraded to the extra filet), and unfortunately it was one of the worst I've had. And that's coming from someone who's tried plenty of pub food around Houston. It was mostly thick batter, overly greasy and soggy, and the fries underneath weren't fresh, just limp and bland. It didn't feel like it was made to order or wasn't made with care at all.. Overall, it's still a decent spot to catch a game and grab a pint. Parking can get tight during peak hours, but the solid service and lively crowd make it a decent hangout for match day.

The service is definitely on the slow side, but they have an ordering app now that makes things a lot easier. Not everything on the menu is great, but there are quite a few things that are really tasty. I would NOT recommend ANY of the burgers -- the meat was bland and just not enjoyable. On the flip side, the Bavarian pretzel is amazing. It's fluffy, perfectly salted, and comes with a spicy queso that's smooth and has just the right amount of kick. 11/10. I also really like the chicken fried chicken. It comes with two sides, the gravy is delicious, and it's super filling. Not the best choice if you're looking for something light, but the flavor makes it worth it. 9/10. The fish and chips are solid too. Even the small portion is big, with a crispy beer batter and light, flaky fish inside. Comes with all the classic sauces, and honestly, it's comparable to traditional British fish and chips. 9/10. Overall, the atmosphere isn't really my favorite, but it works if you want to watch a game and grab some good food. With weekly specials and reasonable prices, it's definitely worth checking out.
