It's not that little

I prefer bigger woodrows, but these ones are decent too. A Houston staple, and not somewhere I'd ever go of my own accord, but maybe I've been missing out, because our bartender (she has red hair and is stunning) is one of the best servers we've had the pleasure of dealing with. We'd definitely come back just for her. I think Little Woodrow's is a good place for people watching and cute people, and most of the locations have a good vibe and friendly bartenders, especially the one I already called out. They're definitely on the pricy side and I don't like that they are clearly a little overpriced, but still as far as Houston goes it's a nice local chain that I fully support.

We flew into Houston around midnight on Friday and after a seven hour flight (we had two stops) and my husband and I were in need of a drink. We drove past Little Woodrow's on our way to our Airbnb and decided to stop before turning in for the night. The bar was virtually empty. It wasn't until later into our trip that we discovered that establishments in the state of Texas are required to stop serving alcohol at 2pm. The bar was clean, most importantly so was the bathroom. Nothing worse than going into a tiny stall and finding it to be covered in urine. They had games for patrons to play while drinking. Also, while the inside wasn't too big, the outside area was very large. I am sure they draw a large crowd on the weekends. There was one bartender working this night and she was friendly. The owner or manger of the bar was also very nice. The drinks were good and strong, maybe a tad bit pricey, but that is the norm for bar drinking. All and all, nice place to stop in for a drink.

You been to one, you've been to them all. Convenient this is in the location it is with other bars and eats in the white oak section. Cool bartenders, outdoor seating, and TVs for sports is my kind of thing. Plus based on the location, it's easy to navigate. I enjoy riding my bike on the bayou trail and making a pitstop here for a post ride beverage or two (after that you stop counting). Overall it's chill and relaxing where you don't have to worry about people bothering you; very refreshing considering how hard it is to find those these days.

Stumbled on this place while out and about and saw they had crawfish and decided to stop because BB's was packed. This place has an awesome vibe and the staff were awesome and friendly. The outdoor patio is set up with corn hole, connect 4, Jenga , and lots of seating. Sat down and had some beer and decided to get some crawfish from the vendor. The size of the crawfish was good especially for how early it is in the season. Little Woodrow's has a plethora of different beer on tap as well! This will definitely be a go to place when I'm in the area!

Cute bar but, if you are looking for a cocktail here, I would not recommend. However, they have a great selection of beers to choose from.

Any place that serves me Crush City drafts as fast as I can drink them gets five stars. I know that is simplistic.

They also have dog bowls and water for your pups if needed. The bartender/owner was great, she let me try a beer before committing and checked on me several times during my stay there. It's nice to see they added more seating and more personal touches to the place. There's artwork to purchase on the walls, more tvs, additional cans of seltzer or thc drinks if that's more of your style. I love how it's locally owned and brewed. They were having smoked wings. 6 for $10 or 10 for $15. Comes with chips, carrots/celery and ranch. They were quite smokey, a lil salty but still delicious. The vibes are chill and they had football on. All and all a great place to stop by for a beer.

We ended up being mostly the only ones in the brew house for most of the evening which was a surprise, we enjoyed the beers and the service. There is a local brewery that is inside the brew house, Turkey Forrest Brewing. We enjoyed the hazy IPA, cream ale, and a watermelon tajin ale they had on tap. They also have beers and canned beverages from a variety of other places and popular canned drinks too, to suit any preference. My boyfriend and I had a really fun time playing board games they had available and chilling out. There were also Halloween movies and a playlist playing. Seems like we were there on a slow night, they appear to have events throughout the week such as a run club and bingo nights. Definitely a fun, chill option in the area!

The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for somewhere social but still comfortable. The drinks were good, and overall the vibe was on point. It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends. One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.

It's a nice lowkey neighborhood spot with a bar and outdoor seating as well. The ambiance was chill and casual which I am all for. They are pet friendly as I got to see some fur babies come in which is always nice. We started with some glasses of Cabernet and told our waiter we were celebrating my birthday. The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake. They weren't too sweet and just the right amount of richness. If they aren't on your list for steak night I definitely recommend!

You're able to bring in your own food as well, but we came here for Tuesday Steak night from Modestos Grill. $30 for a ribeye + choice of potato or salad. The salad was actually quite a large portion and potato was baked nicely and came with all the fix'ns. Steak was seasoned really well and cooked to my preference of medium. Upon visiting here, it's about the same size as Memorial IMO but still has the same touch and vibes that makes the Memorial location pretty dope. Obviously you're here for drinks, sports, or a combination of the two. There's plenty of parking here and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also live up to the whole "longest bar in Texas" where there is a 100+ foot bar area that stretches. There's plenty of tvs inside and outside so you can find any type of sports you're looking for as you guzzle down your beverages. Speaking of beverages, there's roughly 30+ beers on tap and just about every kind of spirit you can think of. Self-serve water coolers are available when you need to hydrate yourself if you've had one too many drinks. There's also a food truck here for eats with rotations (check the website for the schedule). It's pet friendly as well and they have drink specials every day. Bartenders are pretty attentive; I've never had issues getting a drink here, even when it's gotten slammed for NFL sunday or college football. Glad this is in my neck of the woods for sports watching and drinking.
