This place is perfection! This was the best pizza we had in Rome by a large margin. The dough is fantastically light, airy, and crisp. Topping were all phenomenal. The highlights were the chorizo and red onion pizza, cheese and spicy peppers, and fig prosciutto and brie. All of their savory options are served with a drizzle of delicious basil oil and the fig came with honey. The family who runs this restaurant are extremely friendly, efficient and welcoming. The price is right (two pizzas, two beer 15 euros) as well. Their suppli are fantastic as well, I highly recommend the cacio e pepe variation. This is a must visit lunch spot in Rome. Grab a couple of pizza, couple of beer, and have a seat on the sidewalk outside and marvel at the deliciousness offered by this unassuming restaurant. This was a wonderful experience. I had pizza with prosciutto, mozzarella, and zucchini flowers. Beautiful and delicious. Arrancini (rice balls) were fun ... oozing with cheese. Ingredients were fresh -- we watched fabulous eggplant being sliced for toppings. The meats were extraordinary. EWe were first-time visitors to Rome and felt welcome in a place that attracts families, visitors and people grabbing a quick bite during work hours. Best pizza I had in 3 days in Rome (and I ate pizza twice a day). The most expensive is 4,50 euro for your own personal pizza and it's enough to fill you up. I can't recall the one I had but it had Italian ham and leek with a white sauce. It was delicious. I tried a friend's who had got one with salami and tomato sauce. It was also delicious because they put a little bit of pesto on top. The service was great and really fast. There are lots of places to eat just outside (they have small tables attached to the wall to stand and eat). If I was here longer I would eat here everyday. There was also no line when we went (around 3pm on a Monday). read more

One of my highlights in Rome. The 4 Euro pizza was so delicious that I returned the day after for more, and would've for the third day if they weren't closed during the weekends. My only regret is that for that second round, I shared one pizza with my boyfriend, thinking it was only 10am, and we would be eating lunch shortly. Big mistake. Should've done one each, perhaps two. The buffalo mozarella, good. Anything with sausage, good. What's so appealing about this pizza is the dough/bread. It's crunchy. It's fluffy. It's amazing. I found this place on Yelp before our trip to Rome and already bookmarked it prior to our visit. It's about a 10 minute walk from our hotel, Smart Hotel but the hours are kind of funny so you have to plan accordingly. The pizzas are all personal pizzas and are baked upon ordering. The place is small with no seats or restroom so you eat standing up against the wall where the counter tops are mounted. The owner is very nice and you eat first then pay. I ordered a prosciutto pizza and my wife got one with walnuts and honey. The sweet pizzas aren't really my thing, but the prosciutto was delicious. Two pizzas and a drink came out to around 11 euros. This was my first meal in Roma and I don't regret it. Thank you Yelpers! The staff here is friendly and speaks fluent English. More importantly, the food is phenomenal. High quality, beautifully cooked ingredients where personal pizzas, beautifully blistered and lightly touched with cheese, are the name of the game. We had the eggplant pizza, which featured a light smattering of stretchy mozz, mandolined eggplant, pine nuts, and golden raisins on a crust only touched with olive oil. It was light and lovely. The second pizza we tried, however, made my day. The owner enthusiastically looked at me and said "You like spicy?! This is our favorite!" and pointed me to a gooey pie smattered with red onion slices and a spicy salami (anduja, probably spelled incorrectly, from the Calabria region) all drizzled with a light herb olive oil. The first time we went here, they were closed. They close at 4pm. So we came back the next day around 3:30pm and we knew we found the place when there was a crowd of people outside of it. We ordered three pizzas: red onion & spicy salami with a pesto drizzle on top, sundried tomatoes with sweet balsamic vinegar drizzle on top, and four cheese with pear & walnuts with a honey drizzle on top. Yum!!! I was on my last day in Rome, and I decided to randomly Yelp pizza places. This one showed up and it's super close to my hostel, AND they're open pretty early, so I decided to go for breakfast. Yes, pizza for breakfast, why not? I wanted to eat as much as I could on my last day to Rome, so better have an early start! When I arrived, they had around 7-8 different types of pizza on display, and I asked what the most popular one was; he said the pumpkin, bacon, and mozzarella. I'm not too big a fan of pumpkin and I don't like bacon, so I opted for the salami and potato. After ordering, he stuck one into the oven and I paid. It was only €4.50 for a personalized pizza, yay! I waited a few minutes until it was done, and I took it to go. Mine got put in a bag as opposed to a box, but it was okay; I ate it on the way back to the hostel anyway. The crust was deliciously crunchy, and the toppings were light but flavorful. I wish there were more salami pieces because they were really good, and the potato was quite potato-y and soft. Fast pizza, great taste, even better price. At 4€ per pizza it's one of the best deals in all of Rome in my opinion. They use really fresh and clean ingredients. I got the roasted sweet pepper, leeks, and sausage pizza. My wife got the sundried tomato, leeks, and turkey. The crust is light and crispy after it's put in the oven, and drizzled with either a pesto oil or cilantro oil, depending on what you ordered. They succeed at combining flavors - salty, sweet, and smoky - with local meats, vegetables, and cheeses. All this and it's given to you within 3 mins. There's no seating, but there are plenty of stand and eat shelves around the place. Pinsere is located near the Roma Termini station (within 1000m). It also is near a great gelateria La Romana (another place I've reviewed). I highly recommend this spot if you're on a budget with money and time while in Rome. read more

Personalized size pizzas! It's a pretty popular place and it was pretty crowded when we got there. Very small with some ledges for standing room only. Just have to get to the front of the counter to order what you want with the man apologizing for his bad English. Haha. And also guard against other tourists trying to nab your pizza! Once you order and pay they cook the pizza and then give it to you. Some lady tried to take mine even though she had just ordered. So be on guard! The man with the bad English is pretty fun and another guy likes to break out into song every now and then. Makes for a lively atmosphere for sure. We got the mortadella with ricotta and pistachios based on their recommendation. Also nabbed a mushroom pizza. Both were delicious with the crisp bread all around and a good balance of ingredients. It's not overloaded with cheese but a good amount. Yum! Both were only 9 euros. I'm excited to see what else Italy has to offer! read more

Great pizza at a bargain price! Be aware that there is no seating at this restaurant. You walk up to the counter, choose your pizza, and when it's ready, you can stand outside and eat it or have it to go. If you're exhausted from sightseeing, choose some place else. Having said that, this is the best pizza we had in Italy, including Naples. They are individually sized and perfect for lunch. I had a Margherita with black olives that was just great, but there are literally dozens of varieties you can choose from. I'm a HUGE HUGE pizza lover and finding this place is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I wanted to go back here since it was fairly close to my hostel but I didn't get a chance. I decided to just go the traditional route and get the standard mozzarella, tomato, basil. I thought to myself that it would probably be whatever, but this was the BEST I've ever had. The staff was super friendly too. I saw all the amazing reviews and needed to try this place. For the pizza was good but not the "can't miss", or "best in Rome" that I was hoping for after reading all the other reviews. I was a little thrown off as I like pizzas made to order and am always skeptical of any that are pre-prepared and sitting for an unknown period of time before its consumed. The place was absolutely packed and you will likely have to fight s bit of a crowd to order and pick up your pizza.
