I was really excited to try this place but while the ambiance was great, the food and service was underwhelming. We ordered the tofu and chicken skewers, garlic noodles with tofu and green curry with tofu. Our reservation was at 6 PM and they were out of a few cocktails we wanted to try. We ended up getting the lavender prince drink and hello kitty drink. The drinks were great. Skewers were fine. The noodles were good but the green curry was underwhelming. It came with bread so we asked for rice to help soak up the curry and we had to ask twice for it. For the price, I would expect really tasty food. The pluses were live entertainment and ambiance. If you want good food for half the price, I recommend going elsewhere but come here for drinks (if they have all in stock). read more

If you are on the wharf between Monday through Thursday nights, you are certain to get a table at any time of the day or night. But, on the weekends- this place is packed! Mainly for its Instagram, worthy photos and piano bar setting; across between oh Vegas and 80s Miami nightlife. Go for the scene, start your way inside and then work your way outside and enjoy the crowd watching. read more

First time at Pink Tiger and I loved it! I'm visiting from California and the atmosphere immediately caught my eye--super cute with lots of greens and pinks. The service was wonderful; everyone was kind and attentive. Our waiter, Mohamed, was an absolute delight. He even suggested ordering rice with my crab bisque soup, which turned out to be a great tip. My Caesar salad was fresh and unique--the added pear was such a nice touch and really delicious. When I'm back in DC, I'll definitely return. Great vibes, great food! read more

Today's a nice day to come to the wharf - sunny with temps close to 70 in mid March. Haven't been here for a while and there are many places with great outdoor seating which is thing to do on a day like this. We walked the length of the restaurant row and turned around a and settled on Pink Tiger which seems to have one of the largest patios in front with well spaced 4-top tables as well as a long counter facing the water, best for people watching. There is a large well decorated indoor dining room as well with a variety of comfortable seating but on a day like this the patio wins. We had the burger, dumplings, fried shrimp - the latter two are apps that seem to be the most popular, two other tables next to us ordered the same thing. The dumplings are a bit bland although there is a sweetish sauce which added a bit of flavor. The shrimps - there are about a dozen popcorn shrimp sized ones have a very tasty batter and is more flavorful. Overall a very pleasant experience with the dining environment being excellent. A bit on the pricy side at about $85 for two before tip. Service can be a bit slow so it helps if you are not in a hurry and just want to hang out and soak in the atmosphere. read more

Beyond mediocre. Two stars for the decor only. Everything about this dining experience was mid. It seems they put everything into the aesthetic and nothing into the food and drinks. I ordered the iced tea "mocktail", not sure what makes it a mocktail and not just a $10 glass of iced tea but I digress. The drink was so clear I thought it was water with a splash of food coloring added in. There is no way that was iced tea. I wish I took a picture but I sent it back shortly after receiving it. The Korean wings were okay, nothing to write home about. My friend ordered the wagyu satay and she said it was a severe disappointment and tasted like grocery store sirloin. Come only if you want to sit at the beautiful bar have a drink and take pictures. Otherwise you'll probably be sorely disappointed. read more

I came here for my birthday dinner with 2 of my friends. I am giving three stars for ambience, service, entertainment, and free champagne for my birthday, but food is mid. The restaurant has great vibes. It is very nice and pretty inside with an open kitchen concept. You can smell the food, and it smelled amazing. Honestly, it had great ambience. The tables by the bar were nice too. You can watch food being cooked. They had a piano man playing music. We got seated right next to the piano man which was so nice. He was amazing. He played great songs and had a great voice. When he went on break, he played good music from the speaker. It felt like we had our own little show. The service was great! Our server was super nice and attentive. Everything came out within a reasonable time. No complaints there. Only complaint i really have is the food which seems to be a common theme at The Wharf. Everything is very overpriced for mid food, but it is expensive for the vibes and because they have to pay high rent. I ordered an espresso martini. It was okay. It was expensive. We ordered the Korean Chicken Wings, Ahi Nachos, and Chicken Garlic Noodles, Salmon, and Pad Thai. Everything was good but again, overpriced. It was all very basic. My chicken garlic noodles were $30. Should be no more than 22. My friend did not like the Pad Thai-- it was too sweet with too many chopped peanuts. The portions are good. We ordered a skillet cookie with ice cream for dessert. Small scoop of ice cream and the cookie sucked. It tasted like tollhouse and it was overcooked. They gave us free champagne for my birthday with lighted ice cubes. I thought that was awesome. The appetizers are similar to what you may see at like a sports bar or something. It wasn't really anything wow. I would compare the menu to like Proper 21 in DC. I might come here again for drinks and the piano. A lot of people were ordering the kabobs, steaks and bigger dishes. They looked good. If you go, maybe try the steaks and seafood. read more

Went here early afternoon for a late lunch / early dinner. There was two other parties already seated. It's in a great spot on the Wharf, right on the strip with everything else. It's asian fusion, with some specific Filipino items which drew me to picking it. I got an old fashioned, korean fried chicken wings, one chicken skewer, one steak skewer, lumpia, and garlic noodles with steak. My favorite was the garlic noodles, I could eat those all day. There's a piano there so I'd imagine there's live music regularly. Worth checking out. Parking is in the garage but is VERY expensive, at least in the Wharf garages. read more

Met up with some friends after an event in the Wharf and decided to check out Pink Tiger and I'm so glad we did! We had a wonderful time. The food and drinks were great and the ambiance was amazing. Here are some of my takeaways: Environment The space is perfect for hanging out and catching up with friends or a dinner date. The vibe is chill, laid back yet lively with dim lighting that sets the mood whether for happy hour or fun night out. There is plenty of seating at the bar (with some cool pink lights) and in the dining area so you have mutiple options and space. Service The service was good! Our server was nice and made sure we had what we needed. and was very warm and welcoming. We also had an opportunity to meet the new owner who was very friendly, warm and welcoming which was a great personal tough to our overall experience. Food The food was really delicious and did not disappoint. We started off with the lumpia and the dumplings which were both tasty and filling. I'd definitely order them again. For my main, I went with the garlic noodles which were pretty good and full of flavor! When I return I definitely want to try other items on the menu especially the burger and the fried cheesecake. Overall Pink Tiger is a great addition to the Wharf. It has good food and great vibes. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

Came here on a whim with two friends. Just was walking by and we were hungry. It was honestly more upscale than we were looking for but it was so delicious. Edamame was phenomenal and I loved the steak in the Mango Avocado salad. Kind of pricey but we aren't from DC and splurged. Our waitress (forgot her name - tall, slender redhead) was great and very accommodating, smart and perfect amount of attention- not too much, not too little. I definitely think it's a place for a more formal and ceremonial meal, but I'm so glad I went and had great memories. read more

Maybe 3 stars. Way overpriced for the quality/portion size. I've never eating such a soy-ish Thai rice. It was like any fried rice you can find around. The mango salad was disappointing too. We actually had a hard time deciding if we had in front of us mango or peach. Don't do the carrot-mango drink. read more

Food is mediocre and overpriced. Lots of better options in the area!!!!!!!! Just a tourist trap that should be avoided. $12 for a shot of Sapporo, which is even crazy in DC. They put it in a tiny goblet like it is a barley wine or high abv drink. 2 drinks, one app, and one main for $95. Pad tai is $36 if you add chicken, and it is smaller and lower quality than any $20 dish you would get at a Thai restaurant. Also it is notable that they never refilled my water, so I am thirsty and disappointed. read more

Such a great concept, I wanted to give 5 stars, sadly I can't as I was a little disappointed in the food and service. I loved the vibe of the site with the pink umbrella-strewn patio and location on the bustling wharf. A friend and I stopped in last night after a walk exploring the area. Our table did not have an umbrella and appeared dirty (but maybe it was just stained from the outside conditions). Our service was mediocre. Brenda was very pleasant but didn't bring tap water after mentioning she would several times, until I expressed a second request after about 30 minutes or more. We also asked for separate checks and had to send the check back to be separated. The martini was decent, not exactly what I was expecting as the menu mentioned olives and brine. The cup of crab curry bisque was very good with a little spicy kick- I would definitely recommend trying this! The chicken satay was decent, I had some tough, chewy segments from the chicken thighs and could have used a little more peanut sauce. The cucumber salad was cooling but very salty, maybe too heavy on the fish sauce for me. My friend had the hibiscus tea, which she said was wonderful and the garlic noodles with shrimp which she said was good. If I lived in the area I might try it again as it might have been an off night. read more

It was my first visiting the restaurant. I went over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. They have outdoor seating. Each outdoor table have an umbrella for you can open and close. They had music playing outside as well. When I walked in, I was greeted at the front desk. It was busy inside. The inside was very cute. They have an upstairs where you can eat. I didn't go up and check it out. I could see people seating down. The food was flavorful. I ordered Korean BBQ chicken and garlic noodles. For dessert, I ordered fried cheesecake which was good. That was my first time trying the cheesecake. For drink, I ordered a Purist Margarita. I didn't like it too much. I tried a martini which was pretty good. They do separate receipts ( one for the food and one for drinks). They had a live pianist playing different styles of music which was nice. The live music was 7pm to 2am. read more

Pink Tiger has a good menu and live music Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The kitchen is open late those nights too, so it's one of the few places to eat after 11pm. The food is good, I tried the steak satay and chicken pad thai this time and I would get them again. I was seated at the bar to grab a quick bite and my only complaint is that they add a 20% gratuity to the check but don't tell you about this and the check also lists suggested gratuity at the bottom so you might end up leaving 40% (or more) if you don't review it. read more

Ambiance: Really cute environment! Outside tables and chairs are nice Service: We arrived an hour before our reservation, were greeted kindly and seated early due to availability. Our waiter was friendly & helpful with suggestions Food: Overall among the 4 of us we rated it a 7/10. The wagyu broccoli & beef was reported to be good, but not filling. The pad thai & garlic noodles portions were larger than expected (which is great!) and pretty tasty. The steak in the pad thai is sirloin and not wagyu, so make sure you choose according to your preferences. The korean chicken wings were great! 9/10, and the ceviche was good. read more

This was a popular spot on the water and we got to sit outside, but thanksfully there was a nice breeze. Got in on a Saturday night with no reservations, but just barely. Staff had a lot on their hands, so we had long waits for water (initial and any refills) which was a little rough with the heat. Food was delicious and the price was a little jarring - but I reminded myself we haven't gone out to eat in the city in a minute. read more

We went to the Pink Tiger on Saturday before a concert, and had a wonderful time. The service was exceptional, as was the food as well as the atmosphere. We shared an appetizer (halloumi), which was great. Our entrees (Pad Thai with Chicken and Thai Fried Rice with Chicken) were incredible, and the portions were huge. Mayada, our server, was very pleasant and extremely attentive. There was live music; the pianist, Jeremy Ragsdale, was excellent, and he had an amazing repertoire. The entire area (Wharf Street SW) had great energy, too. read more

Long story short, horrible service they do not care about the customers experience. I have never ordered a padthai this expensive (24+9 for shrimp). The noodles came out dry and gunky to begin with, so when you stick your chopsticks in its all stuck together, and the shrimp was a bit raw. That would have been fine, mistakes happen. When I told them, they simply just threw it back in the pan, resulting in super smokey and burnt noodles. Tasted nothing like pad thai and texture was ruined. No apologizing or acknowledgment I was so upset they thought this was servable, especially for 33$? I asked them to take the dish off my bill and sent it back. Interior is beautiful... but never coming back. read more

My curiosity and hunger got the best of me while visiting this restaurant which was aesthetically pleasing. They had staff outside luring customers with free drink tickets...which should've been my sign to leave. Anyhow, I stayed and started with the Ginger Margarita, it was a bit unique to me since I never had it and I enjoyed the slight hint of spice. The Pure Margarita was fine, but lacked alcohol. For our main, the Pad Thai was a letdown: small, pricey, and utterly unimpressive, but I think you pay a little extra for the views of the water and the pricey real estate nearby. Overall, slow service and just okay food. There are better options nearby. Also, be sure to review your bill! They automatically add a 20% gratuity after certain hours, so you could easily double-tip. My server seemed a little surprised that it happened, but the manager explained and agreed to reverse the charge. read more

We hosted a private event at Pink Tiger for about 30 people. While the space itself is beautifully designed the experience left a lot to be desired, especially at the start. Service & Organization: We had booked the event a couple of weeks in advance, but when we arrived, it didn't seem like they were prepared for us. There was only one server initially handling drink orders for the entire group, and the drinks took a long time to arrive. Some never came at all. We also weren't given any direction on where or when to sit - it was very unorganized. I ended up having to approach the server myself to ask when we'd be seated and when food would be coming out. The event started at 5:30, and although dinner was supposed to be served around 6:00, food didn't arrive until closer to 6:30 or 6:45. The service did gradually improve as the evening went on, but there were still frequent delays and we often had to follow up multiple times to place or re-confirm orders. Many of the drinks we did receive were overly sweet, which made it hard to enjoy them fully. Food: Potstickers: These had good flavor, but the texture was off, they came out pretty hard. I wouldn't recommend them. Shrimp Tempura: This was probably the highlight of the meal. Nicely crispy and well-cooked Chips and Hummus: Very basic. Nothing bad about them, but also nothing memorable. You can skip these. Lumpia: This was pretty good as well - enjoyed the sauce it came with Salmon (Main Dish): I ordered mine medium, and while it didn't come out quite as requested, it wasn't overdone. The flavor was solid, and overall it was a decent dish. Atmosphere: The decor inside is trendy and fun - lots of personality in the space. We were on the second level, which looked nice but was oddly warm for some reason. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it wasn't great either. The food had a few good moments, but the disorganized service and overly sweet drinks really brought the night down. I'd consider coming back for a smaller group outing, but I'd think twice before booking another private event here. read more

Date of visit: 26.12.2025 The decor and vibe: Overall it is welcoming and nice. Dress coded for smart casual wear based on the website. If you read their brief story on how they came to be. Its wholesome and gives the expectation on what unique and or tweaks they will do as a fusion restaurant. Staff and waiter were polite and properly attentive. Appetizers: Dumplings and the AHI Tuna Nachos. -Nachos tasted good as a whole. The concept is nice, but its already messy. Each chip is either drowned in sauce or buried with the components. It took away of the guest making the mess of the nacho themselves. -Dumplings tasted fine. They seem to be overstuffed and bit on the dry side. Mixed with the components it came with; it was a bit more enjoyable. With a last two I did mix the dumpling with the nacho and enjoyed it. Main: Bacon and Brussel sprout fried rice, chicken addon. - This was very tasty. It seem to have a nice fusion of what i can guess of a southern twist to the fried rice. It is also filling without it feeling completely heavy. Drink: The last words and champagne - A good drink with a respectful amount of booze in it. Not so much that makes you dance randomly but not light enough that you might as well drink cough syrup. Most importantly it tasted good. - We didn't order it but the end of the meal champagne it the disco light ice cube is a nice touch to end the meal. Overall: A good date night location. Tasty food. Good staff. Is it worth saving money for yes and save enough. My concern: The restaurants talks about fusion and being unique to stand out but it doesn't seem to have many of its own unique twist as many of the items seem to be trends and can be found at other restaurants. I can't give a half star due to yelp ranking system. Its 3.5 to me but I set it at 4 because I lean towards its instead of 3. I know they can become something memorable and not just by the atmosphere. So enjoy the food and location but help their vision by being honest and tweak accordingly. Growth through discomfort. read more

I always have a really big problem for Asian Fusion restaurants who co-opt Southeast Asian Flavors with no distinct identity that can be traced back to a region or locality. A lot of people might think this is fine, this is DC and there is no standard of authenticity that American restaurants have to uphold, but I argue that this leaves room for a lot of people to misunderstand what Asian food is, why its good, and pushes out other real Asian restaurants who produce the same quality of food but are not willing to cater to a gentrified audience. Restaurants like this will always have to constantly evolve and follow trending foods and innovated by real Asian recipes, so it feels like a ghost of what good Southeast Asian food can be. And I also say that loosely, this menu can be traced to North East Asian or even Hawaiian with the appearance of Ahi Tuna Nachos. At the prices they charge, the food is bound to taste good, and it is bound to attract a wide range of customers who like to see the live music and opulent decor, but when it comes down to it, would they be able to build out a distinct menu that really elevates Asian food? No. So I do not give them that credit. A lot of the items we see on the menu are all inspired by street foods of Asia, but because they have a hybrid-Asian American Fusion approach, they relocate a lot of traditional flavor pairings like pairing eel sauce with lemongrass, or plating lumpia on a plate of Red-40 sweet and sour. Which is good, but lacks a lot of nuances made in Asian recipes of why one would pair a certain aromatic or why one wouldn't want to drench something in one of the five sauces Americans can loosely identify as "Asian." And knowing that these are all street foods (meaning, not foods you would find in an actual Asian fine-dining restaurant), it feels disheartening and a little scammy to charge things like a single skewer, satay, or even a plate of rice noodles (Pad Thai) at that price. The wait to prepare these foods was also just very long, and I understand that they are dealing with a high volume of customers, but I also think this speaks to how their menu is just too underdeveloped to scale up and pump out. This is also disappointing knowing that this is suppose to be an elevated version of the street food originals. Our wait time was so long, that we got a free appetizer that we had previously already ordered so it was kind of like a slap in the face and take my money type of thing. My actual appetizer was the Green Curry w/ Mussels, which I felt like I really lucked out on because I was trying to avoid the random sauces they were adding to the item and trying to venture away the more basic items. This was good, the sauce was very garlic heavy, I would have liked to actually pick up on the unique notes of curry which is a multi-ingredient paste that is suppose to add a lot more notes than just garlic, but I'll take it bc it was actually steamed in a coconut milk that paired well with the liquor of the mussels. Everyone else at my table felt disappointed with the Pad Thai because it came plain with an additional charge for any protein including tofu, Glazes Salmon which had a thin fillet of salmon and a mountain of under seasoned mixed vegetables, Filipino Pork + Chicken Adobo was too salty. As a soy-based dish its easy to up the sodium, but what a lot of adobo is actually need is a sweetener and time to simmer, our pork was extremely tough and hard to chew through all the tendon, which typically gets cooked down from simmering. Dessert menu made no sense for the type of restaurant this was so was a skip for us. read more

My family and I tried out Pink Tiger located at the Wharf on 9/20/25. We didn't have a reservation but I was able to get us inside seating for four. Our server brought us water within 5 mins of us sitting down. The tap water was horrible. We all scanned through the menu and placed our order. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the food. My son did not like his smash burger as the meat was thick and not smashed. The fries were not hot or even warm. My garlic rice was good though. The best part of our night was the live entertainment. The fabulous singer/pianist was awesome!!! I didn't get his name. You could pay $10.00 and he would sing the song requested. I called the restaurant several times to get the singers name, but no one would answer the phone. I've included a video of him in this Yelp review. read more

The place is beautiful! If you're looking for a fun night out, do your self a favor and go between Thursday and Saturday. The piano man is amazing! And he takes requests! Came here for a birthday party and was incredibly disappointed. The reservation was made for 8:30 2 months in advance and we weren't seated for almost another hour since they lost our reservation. We had to wait at the outdoor bar area for the entire time. The waiter wasn't accommodating or nice to us. It seemed like he was avoiding us and didn't listen to any of our asks. For example, it very late when we started ordering and we asked if we could order food alongside apps and drinks and he ignored us and wouldn't let us order. Nothing was comped and we weren't treated well for the inconvenience. The food took SO long to come out and it was the worst. The plating was messy and between identical orders, the taste and look were inconsistent. The food itself was bland and didn't taste good. For the location and price point it was highway robbery. 10/10 would not recommend anyone coming here. When we asked for the check, one of the owners came out to ask if we wanted a round of shots. The vegetarian food options are very bland and tasteless. We tried a couple of their veg appetizers and were displeased. The only dish I recommend is the mushroom quesadillas. For the entree, we did a mix and found that two of 4 dishes were worth it. The Garlic Chili Noodles and the Adobo dish are worth it because they're sauce-y and are filled with flavor. The Thai Fried Rice & Eggplant dish (Mediterranean Moussaka) were both tasteless. The Fried Rice needed chili oil and a hot sauce & the Eggplant dish was thin stripes of eggplant drowned in a 4 cheese dip. Save the trip if you're a vegetarian or looking for veg options, not worth it at all. read more

At first glance, this restaurant looks nice and stylish, but once you sit down, you start noticing how dirty and poorly managed it is. The lemons they use for drinks were sitting in a high-traffic corner, and the server grabbed one with the same hands they had been touching everything with and dropped it directly into the drink. Absolutely disgusting. The restrooms were also filthy, bad enough to make you lose your appetite. One of the servers, who wasn't even assigned to our table, stood next to us and the body odor was so strong it made us uncomfortable. The food itself was very average, and after seeing all that lack of cleanliness, we honestly couldn't even enjoy eating.
