Halloumi Cheese
Laura C.

I had heard We started with the halloumi cheese appetizer, which was honestly disappointing. At $18, I expected a more generous portion or at least a better presentation. It was essentially a few pieces of fried cheese on a plate, and neither the portion size nor the presentation justified the price. I wouldn't order this again. For my main course, I had the bacon and Brussels fried rice, and this completely made up for the appetizer! The portion was generous, the flavors were amazing, and I genuinely enjoyed every bite. Yes, you're dining at The Wharf, so prices are naturally a little higher than you'd expect, especially for fried rice, but this dish was so good that I didn't mind paying the extra Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend giving Pink Tiger a try. I'd definitely come back for the fried rice, but I'd skip the halloumi and spend that $18 on a different appetizer!

I think the food is similar to the vibe and the aesthetic. Objectively good/nice but just a little something missing. Overall I had a great time. My server was attentive and knowledgeable. The drinks were good. The best part about this place is the live entertainer. He is absolutely amazing! He sings and plays the piano and for five dollars you can request a song. I would go back and sit at the bar have a drink and listen to him anytime.

Chicken fried dumplings

I absolutely loved the tuna poke nachos and the garlic fried rice and the coconut margarita. I initially ordered the chicken dumplings which honestly weren't special, they were disappointing. They tasted like a crispier version of the Trader Joe's dumplings... like they weren't made from scratch. The garlic noodles were good, but the flavor was not as good as the garlic in the fried rice which we absolutely loved.

Very fun and busy place at the Wharf. Ate dinner before a concert at the anthem. A little pricey but the food was hot, fresh and generously portioned. My daughter had the pad Thai with chicken and loved it. I had the burger and it was really flavorful.

Beautiful day out walking and came across the cutest outdoor patio with pink umbrellas. A true instagrammable sight. Decided to stop in for a quick bite and cocktail. It did not disappoint. The service was a bit lacking- servers were probably excited about the beautiful day too because they just kept socializing with each other. The cocktails and the food were very good though. The Deviled Eggs and the wings were the standouts. I'd hoped for a bit better from the Edamame and the Ahi nachos missed some brightness. But overall we all agree to go back!

This is the cutest place! The food was absolutely delicious... they were accommodating to my food allergies. The service was great and the drinks were even better! Go treat yourself!

Lettuce Wraps

The ambiance of Pink Tiger is elegant and cohesive! Drinks were strong and tasty. Lettuce wraps were a solid portion, flavorful, and paired amazingly well with the spicy, fresh salsa roja. Service was efficient, but the server definitely did not want to be at work.

Was a bit pricey but it's extremely worth it. The fusion is a true success. I loved cooking on the hot rock and our server was very helpful and made our date meal very enjoyable! Very fun and exciting atmosphere.

Beautiful spot for a birthday dinner! Aesthetically pleasing and very Instagrammable moments. We randomly stopped in after we missed a show at the Mead Center across the street. Plenty of seating We sat on the patio since it was a breezy evening. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable on the menu. I started with a Paloma, edamame & ahi tuna nachos. 5/5 for the Paloma & nachos but a 3 for edamame - a little soggy to be enjoyable. We ordered garlic noodles with chicken and Thai fried rice with steak. The steak was super dry and tough, almost like jerky. The rice itself was good so I would say maybe cook the steak med verse well done and the noodles were flavorful. We ended with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and fried cheesecake bites This is a good place to wind down or turn up before the night begins! I'll definitely be back :)

The food was good and service was good as well, the ambiance is very nice and it was vibey as well but one thing i will say is we ordered the fried rice and they asked us what kind of protein me and my bf wanted unaware that it was additional cost because of the way the girl asked us and didn't mention anything about additional fees we assumed it was included with the fried rice but no

Garlic noodles. Made with udon and shiitake. My lunch partner really liked them. I am a little skeptical.

As with all places at the wharf, you are paying for vibes and real estate, not good food. The restauraunt is gorgeous. Very Instagrammable. And our server was very nice and attentive. I also appreciate how vegetarian-friendly this menu is. Most of the noodle dishes came default vegetarian with the option to add protein. I bristle, however, at the fact that adding tofu costs $9 when a package of tofu costs $3 and you're certainly not getting a whole package. So I ordered pad Thai because it contains egg and forewent an additional protein. A soft drink here is $6. Free refills. But seriously, suck my butt. That alone will make me never come back. I will pay for things that are high in value. But do not overcharge me for the luxury of eating or drinking something that is way cheaper everywhere else in your waterfront restaurant. The food itself. Meh. First of all they need to decide what kind of restaurant they are - Thai? Pan-Asian? Fusion? Because most of the menu leaned Thai but then there was this Japanese udon dish with garlic and shiitake and then a noodle dish with...bacon and brussels sprouts? And mashed potatoes in the side dishes? And a yuzu lemonade but no Thai tea. Kay. Then the food itseld. Ok my pad Thai was tiny, barely qualified as pad Thai IMO, super soupy and difficult to eat because the noodles were all broken and slimy, had very little in it other than egg and noodles and sauce (too much sauce), and cost $26 before adding protein, the cheapest of which was tofu at $9. So we're talking $35 for a small portion of mediocre-at-best, inauthentic pad Thai when there are actual Thai restaurants owned by actual Thai families all over this area serving authentic pad Thai with ample veggies and protein for half that amount. Kay. And there was no option to customize your spice level. This was like...negative spicy. I asked for chili oil. This was some thin ass bottled oil if I ever saw it. I am giving it three stars just because it wasn't actively bad. Again, pretty space, nice servers, the food wasn't gross or anything. I just need to roll my eyes at the blatant corporatization of cultural foods. Lol hashtag capitalism hashtag private equity. I don't ever need to come back here. And get away from me with your $6 diet coke WTF is that.

I love the decor!! We ate outside for the views but even that was very well decorated and on theme. The servers even have pink tiger themed shirts. Lumpia was good I haven't seen a wrap look that crispy. Chicken lettuce wraps were my favorite I always love that dish. Mussels had good flavor I like the sauce.

Came on a Tuesday evening and got sat relatively quick without a reservation. Pretty decor and really lively. I walked by on the weekend and it was very busy! The service was decent. The food definitely lacked flavor and soooo over priced. Pad Thai alone being $26 was wild and then I noticed the chicken was an added $10. Coming from San Francisco I'm used to big prices on meals but this wasn't worth it:( needed to ask for extra hot sauce to make it better and it helped a little. We got the pad Thai (add chicken) garlic noodles (add chicken) the Korean wings and then the fried rice with steak? The garlic noodles were better than the pad Thai.

Margaritas! (Coconut- top left, apple cider-bottom, regular- top right)

We were initially going to go to the karaoke bar next door but when we walked inside, it was wayyyy too loud and obnoxious so we were like perfect let's go across the street! We walk into the ramen spot and ask where the speakeasy is and the guy led us to the back and showed us to some stairs to go down. Seriously, how COOL is this place??? The neon lights were so fun! We walked into the bar and immediately loved it! Good amount of bar seating plus some comfy couches and whatnot. There was music but it wasn't too obnoxious, we were still able to have conversations - it was surprisingly chill and exactly what we were looking for. Chatted to the bartender who made some fancy shots for us, had a few drinks. It was not busy at all on a Sat night which was nice. It is very dark inside even with the neon lights so it does make it hard to read the menus (had to use flashlights on our phone). But super fun spot, fun drinks, not too expensive, and a neat and chill experience! It was an excellent find for us for sure!

Within minutes the place was packed, so although we were able to get a seat I'd still recommend making a reservation since the space fills up quickly. Initially I didn't realize this was a gin-focused bar, but now I'm hooked ( I told the bartenders about my usual preferences and they were able to make great recommendations). The drinks were incredibly well crafted and full of unique flavor. I started with one of their signature drinks but then asked for a bartender's choice based on what I typically enjoy and they absolutely nailed it. The space has a stylish speakeasy vibe that feels both elevated and inviting. You ring a bell to be let in, which makes the whole experience feel a little more special. Inside, it's moody and romantic with plush seating, gorgeous lighting, and a warm ambiance that's perfect for date night or just catching up with friends. Whether you're a gin enthusiast or just looking for a cool spot to grab a drink in DC, this place is absolutely worth checking out. I'm already planning my next visit.
