The grand opening is today, July 28. The interior of this business definitely has a more feminine touch to it than the other coffee place across the street. This space looks kid and stroller friendly. Pink Forest serves coffee, tea, bubble tea, slush and chocolate drinks as well as jian bing, pastries, banh mi and cold noodles. There was some confusion as to what the wifi passcode was but they literally just opened right before I walked in. The staff was friendly enough and my regular coffee was good. I will be back to try the other items on their menu and update my review accordingly. read more

Nothing exciting about this new place. Small and crowded. I ordered the chicken banhmi and it was disappointing. My drink order was the taro boba iced milk tea. Nothing special either. The cashier did not know what a slush was (a blended ice drink). Also definitely not worth the total price of $14 spent. They make a mean cortado and addictive Jian Bing. Haven't tried the omelets or pancakes yet, but every time I come here in the morning there are quite a few people enjoying them. The ambience is charming with lots of natural lighting, and a good amount of seating for a relatively small cafe. And their mugs are adorable! I always feel at home here. read more

The location is great, but the customer service sucks! I was there on a Sunday afternoon with friend. He ordered bottled water and we both sat on high-chairs by the windows. Before long, the female employee was all over us insisting we buy something else besides water. There were other tables, all occupied, with people staring aimlessly into their laptops with no drinks in sight. Why did she target and hassle us? How about the other patrons who were just sitting there? Then, as we gear-up to leave, the same girl yells, 'Maybe Next time you'll buy something else besides water!' That was so rude and disrespectful. I've never experienced this type of harassment at any Starbucks or elsewhere. I am clearly staying away from this shop and advising my friends of the same. read more

Came with the bestie for dinner because we wanted to try someplace new. We both ordered the Jian Bing with Chicken. We also tried the strawberry and pineapple slushes. It took awhile for the order but it was worth the wait and we will definitely be back to try the other stuff on the menu. Kinda wish they had a bathroom for customers but it is a small space. The place started off strong, but the person who ends up managing the place on a regular basis comes off as standoffish and so we don't really feel like it's a place to take more than just a quick to go cup. The hours are also a little "off" in terms of when the heavy traffic of the neighborhood kicks up, but that's a matter of the owner's preference, I suppose. I see I'm in the minority but I just did not like the jianbing and salad. The crepe was soggy and filled with what seemed like nothing. The salad was anemic. The restaurant is very clean. Their Joan bing is good. However, my friend and I went there on Saturday at 1:00 pm. We ordered the cold noodles that is there special on the menu and the cashier told me they ran out the noodles. The restaurant is not that busy when we went in, so I don't understand how can you ran out the special on Saturday brunch time. On top of that, the cashier is not good with her job. Immediately when I walked inside, the smell of food hits you. This place needs proper ventilation! The only time I felt like I could breathe was when someone opened the door. The service was slow. They took too long for drip coffee and a muffin. They have pretty good pastry and coffee. In the end, the place needs to get proper ventilation and have more seating. Pink Forest is a cute little addition to the chain of coffee shops in Forest Hills. The staff are nice and they got our drinks out quick. The Hot Chocolate was really good and the Chai Latte was also very good. It's very interesting they sell art here but it's a small cute cafe. read more

Coffee and tea is okay. The food menu is a bit limited. The staff is kind of unprofessional sometimes... they talk on the phone at the register or talk on speakerphone for extended periods of time behind the counter. Sometimes the music playing includes profanity so there's that. read more

i've went a few times and the vibes of this cafe are very nice--perfect for studying or working on something for a short period of time. you can stay in the cafe for around two hours after you order something, which makes sense considering the size of the cafe. not the place to go to when you're looking for a place to stay for multiple hours though. i had the cold brew, which was good--it tasted as exactly as you would expect. the hot white mocha was a little disappointing imo: flavor-wise it was good, but it was a little lukewarm for my preferences. i would still go again, it's a cute cafe! read more

This place is cozy and adorable! I went on a weekday afternoon...there were plenty of comfy seats available. The Jianbing (egg crepe) was delicious, and the iced coffee was refreshing. Also, the barista was extremely nice. Definitely will be going back soon to try the banh mi! read more

The JianBing is actually just fried dough.. Like your typical T-Swirl except every add on is an extra charge. You can totally find someone better in Flushing Main Street for cheaper and more stuffings! They do have a Thai Iced Tea with bubble (tapioca ball) which I enjoyed. A unique coffee shop 06/30/2018 - A revisit just knocked off a star. I decided to order a Xian Bing once again. I can no longer recommend it! They are now layering Doritos into the wrap as they make it! Are they insane. The frying and the liquid of the egg turns the Doritos into tooth breaking pieces of plastic that I actually had to pull out! I returned my plate with about whole Doritos on it. Doritos! what are they thinking!? This place makes a good Americano. I have a pretty particular type of coffee flavor that I enjoy, and theirs is spot on. Their current bean has a nice rich, chocolatey and nutty taste. I prefer this to the coffee at Red Pipe, which is also of quality and made well, but has a vegital and winey, almost sour element. I say they are unique because of the pan-asian food offerings in addition to normal cafe fare. The Xian Bing is likely the most unique thing. I have gotten both the regular and the spicy. I prefer the spicy, but both are good and freshly made. Its a nice place to site, and usually pretty full. I have heard that they dont want you to loiter too long without ordering more food, and they do cover the outlets, but I have been there several times and the staff has always been pleasant to me as I sit with my laptop for an hour or two, but I am good for a food item and two Americanos. read more

I'm a very loyal customer here, my favorite drinks being their pumpkin latte and their hot chocolate. Their sandwiches and their pancakes are pretty good. The atmosphere is great, relaxing (especially at hours that are less busy) and a perfect place to study + they have fast and free wifi! I wish that there were more outlets closer to the seats to plug in my phone/laptop because some of them are either covered or non-accessible. Overall, I really like the cafe and I come here often with friends because it's also a nice hangout spot for people of all ages. read more

Stopped in today to check it out. I ordered a green tea bubble tea and my friend had a matcha green tea. Both were really good and the atmosphere was nice. Place is well decorated and the cashier was very helpful and knowledgeable. They're offering all drinks at the largest size until August 6 for the price of a small drink. They also offer a rewards card where I believe you get every other drink free, though I may have misunderstood that. There was a girl painting at the front and it looks like they have a nice selection of food, though I didn't have the opportunity to try their noms yet. This place is such a cute neighborhood addition. Great breakfast spot. They have a lot of options and they are all decently priced. The jian Bing is delicious and a unique dish. For only $7 you get two of them, and they are quite thin so it's a good portion. Very refreshing and a good breakfast item. The space is well decorated and the art is nice.
