Coffee Shot is a good place for coffee and right off of Austin Street. If the weather is nice, order a beverage and sit outside or in the window seats and watch the world go by. The lattes and chai are tasty. There's no restroom here which is inconvenient. Counter service is nice, and the staff are efficient. Stopped by Coffee Shot in Forest Hills after lunch nearby on a Saturday. It's a cute, small coffee shop and café just off Austin Street, with modern black-and-white décor and a clean, contemporary feel. They offer a wide range of coffee drinks, but I went with a matcha latte. It was prepared quickly and tasted great. They also had a nice selection of baked goods, along with several healthy lunch options. The space isn't huge, but there were still places to sit, both small tables and seats along the window facing the street. The staff was welcoming, service was quick, and I took my drink to go. Never noticed this spot before so decided to come on in as I walked by. It's super cute and modern inside and I like that they have outdoor seating as well! First off i came to new york from los angeles for a food crawl to find the best coffee shops and restaurants. La has ok coffee shops but nothing that stands out. Coffee shot has amazing customer service. Very nice service. The coffee is very good better than la coffee. The burekas were delicious again better than la and im a huge bureka fan. I have one complaint though I came to try a coffee with tahini i heard fantastic things about it but they ran out of the syrup for it. Its quite and great ambiance and nice place to sit down and chill while drinking a nice coffee and eating a sandwich. In short i will be back when i come back to NY which will be soon after all i need that tehini coffee annd to try more of the food.. read more

Stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop today! Nothing I love more than to support small businesses. They have a variety of bourekas, croissants, muffins, cookies, brownies and sandwiches with an extensive drink menu. I ordered the crispy moon which is a mini boureka stuffed with cheese...CHEESE LOVERS YOU WILL LOVE THIS. I paired it with their iced Matcha latte. I love that they use high grade matcha! The cafe is on the smaller size, there is seating inside and limited seating outside. The customer service was great. The boy and girl working there, Eden and Aaron, were super friendly and they recommended the crispy moon! Great choice. I'll be back to try more goodies :) read more

The cafe looks very upscale like one you would find in Manhattan. Loved the latte I ordered and the butter croissant was one of the best I have ever had. Decided to give our new neighborhood coffee shop a try. The service was attentive and friendly. The space is on the small side and meets the cookie cutter coffee shop theme of today. I ordered two basic lattes and I'm honestly not sure what I ended up having. The lattes were quite watery and runny. I initially assumed it was based on the choice of almond milk, but I had the same issue with the latte w/ whole milk. Not sure if I had a dud. Spent $25 on a caprese sandwich and a pumpkin latte. The caprese bread was soggy even though I opened it right after it came out. It also didn't taste good and it was bland. I could not taste any flavor in the latte as well. This made me very upset considering how expensive it was. At least the place was clean and the employees were nice. Me and my wife were excited to see a new coffee place in forest hills. We decided to try it. The ambiance is nice and inviting. The staff are friendly. I was disappointed with the coffee , it was bitter and unpleasant. I don't if the beans they are using are way over roasted or the shots are not properly calibrated during extraction resulting in the bitter taste. After my one coffee don't think I would come back given the price for a latte 12oz is $6 plus tax. The thing that broke the camels back was the hygiene. By far the cutest coffee shop on Austin street. Best cappuccino especially in comparison with Marthas and Red Pipe etc. even the regular coffee is great. Amazing sweet friendly staff.
