This was by no means a five star room, HOWEVER: The towels were new and fluffy. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The fridge was cold as was the AC. We were in the room for 11 hours at best. The list of things that this place could benefit from is too exhaustive to list here, but adjust your expectations. We were thankful there was a vacancy at a reasonable price and we didn't have to drive 2 plus hours in the dark of night to return home. It was super quiet, safe and we woke up the next morning. Alive. Our car was still in the lot. So overall a solid three stars. If you're a fan of Schitt's Creek you would have sworn they filmed it here or perhaps used it as a model however the rooms were not adjoining. I slept in 'David's bed' sans the hotel bedding! This place has MANY problems! Check the public records for yourself, as reported by the local Berkshire Edge news source (June 12, 2026): "Lee Police Department reports for The Pilgrim Inn from January 2025 to June 8, 2026 = 82 calls were made from the hotel during that time, including follow-up investigations, averaging one call about every 6.3 days. Although some of those calls cite more than one type of incident, the statistics include 14 medical emergencies, 13 well-being checks, seven "unwanted party" calls, seven "threats," six domestic issue calls, and four restraining orders." "TriTown Health Department records for The Pilgrim Inn from 2025/26 = double-digit sanitary code violations and complaints. Those violations included sewage backup, inadequate ventilation, soiled mattresses and torn sheets, unsanitary tub conditions, stagnant water in a half-empty swimming pool, standing water in the basement, evidence of rodents, bedbug complaints, non-functioning smoke detectors, and unfit conditions that posed a health or safety risk to the hotel's occupants. Many of those violations required guests to immediately vacate the room and owners to make corrections within 24 hours. This place uses fraudulent ways to cancel & book for higher rates. I had a reservation for a month & 2 days before they canceled on me for no reason. They claim I canceled through Expedia. Expedia says it was canceled via a website. I knew nothing until receiving an email about the cancellation. When I asked the hotel to rebook they said they were full. This was a half hour after the cancellation notice. I'm sure they booked it for more money. This is an awful way to do business. read more

The virtual check -In was definitely a benefit not only cause of Germs but great not having to talk to people in person and the Manager did a nice job instructing me , so it wasn't stressful . He also had a Employee come right to our room when we needed new batteries for the TV remote and more pillows . Nice to have a washer / dryer on-site for reasonable price . It was well cleaned hot water , cozy , quiet and conveniently near a Starbucks for breakfast since none is provided . The only thing they need is shampoo in dispenser, so I suggest packing some in case . I would go to this Inn again . read more

Only stay here if there are no other motels are available. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. There is a pool in season. It's also cheap. Those are the good things. When we made the reservation, I was assured by the person on the line that we would get a room on the first floor, as my wife is handicapped. When we got there, we were given a room on the second floor, as he said there was nothing else available. When I reminded him that my wife was handicapped, he found us a room on the first floor. We only got one key for the two of us, which in our case wasn't a problem. The room was clean but dark and my wife couldn't get back to the bed in the middle of the night from the bathroom. Bring a nightlight. It had the minimum of the usual amenities except a clock, but the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the back wall was empty. The TV was difficult to work and we had to call someone to fix it. The bathtub was had stains from a previous shower mat. What's funny is that all the rooms are numbered in the 100's so you can't tell which building your room is in or what floor it's on. read more

I booked this venue 5 months in advance of an anticipated concert at Tanglewood because of the price at the time, $99/night and listing its location as 2.3 miles away from Tanglewood. It was more like 5-6 miles away. (not as advertised) Check-in was done remotely with a live person on the phone who guided you through the easy process. (good) The room ~~ well, first appearances were very reminiscent of that popular TV series with an "Ewww David" from me over the polyester bedspread from the 70's. (not so good). Sheets & blanket appeared clean though. The room was clean, if somewhat over-deodorized, with what looked like new bath towels in the bathroom. My daughter & I had a good laugh over the 2 banana hairclips provided to keep the curtains closed! :) (semi-good) All-in-all, if you don't plan to spend any time in the room or are not looking for amenities (they have a pool, it had no water in it) but love the fact there's a Starbucks right next door, it's an ok place to spend a night for short money. read more

Discusting room. Dirty sheets and carpet. Found someone's glasses in the floor by bed so it was clear room was never vacuumed. Dust on all the ledges. Bathroom was also gross. I found hairs on the counter and in the tub. No customer service on site. You pick up a phone and call to check in. We could not stay there with the room so dirty so we requested a refund and left. I was told that they had issued a refund to me if I promised not to leave a bad review, but months later never received a refund. Called them again and was lied a second time. These owners are crooks and should not be running a business in hospitality! read more

This is the most disgusting motel I've ever stayed in. The room smelled of body oder and cigarettes! The sheets were nasty gray/yellow in color and there was hair on a pillow. The room did not have a microwave and mini fridge, as advertised. The TV did not work. There was no shampoo in the dispenser and the tub did not drain well. The transitional strip on the front stairs was not attached and is a hazard. I did complain and none of my concerns were validated. Instead, they were more worried about their own feelings than being concerned about what was wrong with their establishment. read more

I've been all around NE for work staying at hotels in all states. I've seen the scams and the price jacking but that's every motel and even hotel. My point; The pilgrim inn is on one of my Albany to Boston runs and I stay here often. My co-workers stay here as well from time to time. I actually look forward to this place when I get the option. ITS ALWAYS CLEAN to start, it's very quiet and McDs is right here Dunks is across the street. Friendlys is next door. They got some other restaurants not far down the road (a mile). I've stayed in Albany (an hour west) and I've stayed in Chicopee (an hour) east) for the same price range and I'll continue to chose here every time. read more

The room was ice cold, there was a cigarette burn in the pillow case, there was no hot water, empty drug capsules behind the bureau. Ran the water in the bathroom sink for an extended period of time to try to get any hot water, which never came, only to discover the sink was leaking. The leak was discovered when the water ran from under the sink to soak my feet. Towels were extremely small. I called 4 times to get a new pillow case and more or bigger towels. Each time I was assured someone was coming to bring me a pillow case so that I could go to sleep. I called the last time and was told there was "no record of me asking for clean pillowcase or towels" After 3 hours I finally left to go to different motel/hotel, asked for refund. I was charged for 2 nights! I didn't even stay one night! Stay clear of this location! read more

We had a great stay here. The rooms are very large which is not common any more. The were also very clean and so comfortable. Most affordable motels have terrible a/c systems but these worked perfectly. The customer service was fantastic, prompt and really worked to make sure our stay was great. This is definitely a motel! I booked a room on Hotwire because I was attending a wedding in the area. Everything about the room was fine, there wasn't an actual closet but it seemed clean enough. I did debate driving to my next destination at night instead of staying but decided the long drive wasn't worth it. The main saving grace was that it was a very convenient location. I think the next time I head back to the area, I will splurge a little and stay somewhere else. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Many reasons why: 1. We booked via booking.com for a King size bed, which was unavailable when we arrived. 2. The receptionist gave a shitty attitude and quoted "fuck off my property" when we requested a queen size bed instead. 3. Threaten to call the cops (and did btw) when we inquire about the lowering the rate since we wanted a king not queen. 4. Denied everything he said when the cops came. Luckily, we recorded the conversation, which the cops totally disregard and escorted us out of the premise, which is another issue by itself. Ultimately, do not book with them. They're lying scams who use Booking.com to sucker people like us in. Luckily, Econolodge is open and charge a lower rate for the same service and supposedly cleaner rooms than them. read more

Spending a night at a motel is not typically my idea of a vacation. Due to past experiences, I would rather stay at a Hilton or Embassy Suites. My boyfriend and I came upon the Pilgrim Inn accidentally and our stay became a pleasant surprise. The Pilgrim Inn is a quaint, family-run operation. We arrived last minute and were given a room in a matter of seconds, and the staff in the front office was very prompt and ready to help. I cannot even begin to tell you how helpful and friendly the owner is. He is very involved in his business and you will see him behind the front desk in the office. As a local, he knows the area just in case if the large amount of brochures he has on hand can't help you. Although it's near a highway, the rooms seemed soundproof, and more importantly, very clean. I had a very spacious room with two queen-sized beds, a fridge and microwave, TV, WiFi, and a coffee maker. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well, offering complementary soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There were also enough towels to not worry about asking for more. Additionally, complimentary breakfast is served each morning, offering freshly brewed coffee with options of caffeinated or decaffeinated, bagels, muffins, etc. There is plenty of comfortable seating and a kitchenette to properly prepare your morning meal. It's also in a great location being just minutes away from local restaurants and independent shops, and near the airport and Lee Outlet Mall. If you need something quick, Dunkin Donuts is a small walk away and Rose's Restaurant, an independent establishment, is right across the street. The Pilgrim Inn is certainly worth staying at with friendly and accommodating staff, nice rooms, an excellent location, and great prices. read more

There was the remains of a dead bug squished on the wall in the bedroom. The only reason we stayed here in the first place was because they allowed pets. I had a coupon for the Pilgrim Inn 165 Housatonic St. Lee, MA, in the hotelcoupons book for 1-4 people, Sun-Thurs, $75plus tax. Expires 8/15/12. We arrived at the motel, I showed the woman our coupon, and she was extremely rude. Maybe she didn't like that we had the coupon? Then why did she put it in the book? The woman told us since we had 4 people she would charge us $99 dollars and not the $75. I reminded the woman the coupon was for 4 people and she said it was the summer. I reminded the woman that the coupon expired in August and she said the weekends were more expensive. I told the woman that today was Monday. She said the price was still $99. We had her show us the room anyway and it smelled, the bathroom tub was dirty, there were 3 very, very extremely thin, worn bath towels in the bathroom, and everything in the room was dark (maybe to hide the dirt?) and old.
