Quick bites in Waikiki. Tried this spot and am happy to say I liked what I ordered. Had the Crispy Adobo chicken wings and the Hot Honey Chicken Sando. They come ala carte no sides, but very tasty. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Inside had AC. They also have an outside patio bar for drinks. Service was good and food prepared in an open kitchen.
My friends and I came here for happy hour on a friday and were pleased by how good the prices were for both drinks and food! $6 was a good deal. I liked the kalbi burgers, however the bao bun, hot chicken sandwich, and fish katsu were a bit dry. The drinks were pretty good we got the frozen lilikoi margaritas and pina colada. Overall ambiance was nice although we did get put in a small booth that was available for 5 of us but made it work. I usually don't like to drop names but our server Danielle N, had made a mistake in our bill and didn't own up to it. She was very sweet initially with order recommendations and consistently checked in with us and also got a little too excited when we said we can put the bill under one card (easier for her, didn't want to complicate split 5 ways). However, when it came time to pay the bill, she came over with the checkbook but took our card right away without letting us see the bill and charged it.... We assumed maybe she was in a rush to close but still suspected something was off. When she brought the check back for us to sign she immediately walked away and was gone for almost 10 mins. We looked at our bill and noticed this was somebody else's order and the items were completely off. We held off on signing and didn't see her till later and when we confronted her, instead of owning up to it, she kept GASLIGHTING US with a degrading tone that "it's only off by $1". Mind you we put this all on one card and wanted to review and split it between us later and she kept DISRESPECTFULLY ignoring what we said and that the total is basically the same. Whoever's bill we got had already left, and they came past happy hour so the items were also not at the price we paid but total just came out around the same. SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO EVEN TRY TO GIVE US A $1 BILL but we just wanted her to own up to it that she made the mistake. It was only a dollar different but imagine if it wasn't... we were not gonna be left with somebody else's bill TO WHICH SHE JUST CHARGED OUR CARD IMMEDIATELY....
Amazing service from Chad at the outdoor bar. I stopped by right after 8pm which is start of night shift specials including $6 local draft beer and great $8, $10 and $12 app choices. I had the Korean Fried Chicken ("KFC") and the fresh catch tostado - both very good! Great outdoor atmosphere right off the sidewalk and island tunes. Don't pass by this place.
My favorite Waikiki happy hour spot, 1st time trying the newer menu and it did not disappoint! Service is amazing, food is piping hot and staff are quick to get everything out! And the happy hour deals cannot be beat!
We went to Piko for happy hour and were really impressed! The drinks were affordable, and I was shocked by the portion sizes for only $6. Despite the low prices, the food was also great quality. I especially loved the kalbi burger. We were initially seated outside, but it was a bit too hot for us. The hostess was very kind and happily moved us inside to the dining room, where there was AC. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend Piko for happy hour!
We visited for a celebration, hoping to get away from the crowds. While they had quite a few patrons, we lucked out with a booth inside. This was exactly the kind of breakfast spot that we were looking for - ono food options, good coffee, and locally inspired menu and decor. We also loved the Jawaiian music playing overhead. I got the Mahi'ai (farmer's) omelet with Waialua eggs. So good. Came with seasoned hashbrown patties. They also have a keiki menu. Would definitely visit again. Parking in the Lilia Waikiki hotel which can be accessed from Walina Street.
A cute open space area where you can grab drinks and small bites. Their menu is pretty limited so not a lot to choose from. I tried their loco moco and was disappointed that they used frozen beef patty. It was dry and bland and it costed $21.
Great service, decent prices, and not too many items to choose from. If you're looking for a quick breakfast, highly recommend. I was here during opening hours on a Monday before a flight, so naturally there weren't any customers yet. We were greeted and sat down promptly by a very friendly lady. There's an option to sit in their outdoor area facing out into the sidewalk or inside. We went with inside thinking it would be a little warmer but were met with the opposite. It wasn't too bad though, so we had no issue sticking with our choice. I decided to come here because I read their price point was decent, and can confirm. The menu doesn't have a ton of options, but I think they do a great job of having a little bit for everyone depending on what you're craving. There are some sweets, some small, and what looks like healthier bites, and some savory dishes. I decided to go with the kalua pork burrito and was very happy with my choice. Good portion, great ratios, and really enjoyed the side of tomatoes and salsa. The salsa wasn't really spicy in my opinion, but still packed a lot of flavor. I usually don't use all of my sauce, but I was cleaning it up with my burrito at the end. If you're looking for more of a punch, you can just ask for a side of hot sauce as well. We were in and out ahead of schedule, and paid around $50 for three of us to get a meal, with one coffee. An excellent way to round off our trip.
Poke tasted off - odd flavor profile. The sampler platter was pretty good. Service was slow and inconsistent. Our server went off shift in the middle of the meal and it took the new server forever to pick our table up. Nice bar area, was loud with all of the traffic on Kuhio avenue passing by.
Best $5 happy hour burger on the island!!! The bao buns are so good on their garlic Parmesan Fries are fresh, and crispy!! Lots and lots of garlic. We love this place. Service is fast, the open kitchen always seems clean. We love to be able to eat indoor or out. We love coming here and we love their happy hour! Drinks are pretty good! We come about twice a month! I do think the bathroom could be kept up better.
Located on the first floor of the Waikiki Market. We came back because of their $5 Happy Hour. Ordered the Kalbi Burgers and the Bao Bun. I enjoyed my local draft beer. Our server Danielle was super friendly and gave great recommendations on what to do while in Oahu. On this visit, I just wished their restroom was cleaner. Great food and deaft beer! Friendly service.
Looking for an amazing place to chill, has bar bites, and validated parking? Piko can be your place. They have two amazing and delicious bites that I crave for: Pork bao- fatty, oily, applewood, braise pork 5/5 Kalbi burger - juicy and would have been better without the Kim Chee. 4/5 Service is good, on point, and with smiles. Seating is available inside and outside. Take your pick.
Came for happy hour around 5pm ordered the Kalbi burger and garlic noodles with egg. The kalbi burger was only $5 and we each got one thinking they'd be small but they were actually bigger than a McDonald's cheeseburger. The patty was cooked medium and the addition of kimchi on the burger as it added this acidity and tang to the overall flavor profile. The garlic noodles with egg were not on the HH menu but totally worth it for $12. The soft boiled egg gave the noodles this rich creaminess and I enjoyed the texture of the noodles. The dish had some heat to it and I liked how spicy it was, it was at an enjoyable spice level. My husband got a yuzu cocktail and said it was really tart and yummy as well!
New Local Inspired Fusion Menu, will be sure to please... whether you are a tourist on vacation or a local having a staycation in Waikiki, this is a perfect place to stop by Piko Waikiki . In fact, I just have to take my Mom and Wife here for brunch. Then come back with the Boyz for dinner. This is a great go to spot for breakfast, brunch, or even a happy hour spot to share some pupu's (appetizers) and some drinks. They have both a small indoor seating, and also a nice open air dinning with a bar. Also live music at night. Servers were fast and attentive. Piko has a brand new menu offering an array of ono dishes that celebrate the flavors we love in Hawaii: * New breakfast offerings: including Strawberry Guava Pancakes, Chocolate Haupia Pancakes, * Lomi Salmon Toast and a Breakfast Scramble Croissant Piko Pupu Sampler: A assortment of small bites served "pupu style" Which would include: * Kalua Pork Spring Roll: Cabbage, Hawaiian BBQ spice, sweet onion, pineapple relish. * Chicken Long Rice Gyoza: Ginger chicken broth, ginger scallion. * Hawaiian Beef Jerky: Marinated boneless short rib, Ho Farms lomi tomato, shoyu vinaigrette, poi, inamona. PS... also order the mushroom tempura... it was one of my favorite bites... * Mango Soft Serve: topped with Hawaii Pineapple, sesame honeycomb crunch, snow caper. *Now available to-go in a waffle cone. This is a must try * Other new offerings: include Fresh Ahi Poke, Honey Sesame Shrimp, Crispy Poke Potatoes, Grilled Chicken Satay and Sticky Pork Bites * Happy Hour: 2 to 6pm, ($5)burger, or beer or bao buns. Waikiki had stifling weather after a hurricane miss, this happy hour improved my mood tremendously. Both the kalbi burger & bao were truly outstanding, even more so factoring in the value of the $5 price of each (I went back a few times). None of the drink specials really wowed me, but the margarita was my favorite one; I'd probably skip the cocktails next trip & get more of the scrumptious food. read more
We were eyeing their daily 2-6pm happy hour special so we came in on a Friday 3pm. Didn't have beer but we did order the burger and Bao special. Both were good but we rated the burger over the Bao. We ordered the burger in medium rare and it was cool perfectly in light pink. The Bao had a pork belly which had some great sauce and the pork belly was fatty. Service was great as we mentioned to our server that we've been trying out different burgers. Around 3pm, the bar was somewhat full but they have a counter facing the Kuhio street and more tables in the back. We sat at the counter since we're only trying the burger and Bao. Overall, good and service was good. Would definitely add this place on my list. read more
Food 3/5 My order was somewhat customized based on what was on the menu and what I desired, but not a specific dish. I enjoyed it. However, the noodles were a little greasy for my liking. Service 5/5 The server was great. He made recommendations, was willing to accommodate the request of my order and double check with the kitchen. I dined at the bar. Ambiance 3/5 Basic. Easily accessible from the street. Table and bar seating available. Casual atmosphere. read more

Really love the ambiance of this resto. I've never noticed this place during the many times I've been here in Honolulu. Resto has outside and inside seatings. Outside seating has a live band playing while inside is quiet. Our server is very friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations. Food-wise, we had some hits and some misses. We got the *Manila Clam Pinakbet: a very creative Pinakbet fusion *Fried Confit Chicken: chicken is not well seasoned so even the Sichuan salt and nuoc cham couldn't enhance the flavor *AweSsam Tempura Cauliflower: I love this *Pipikaula: the beef wasn't seasoned well enough so the sauce didn't taste like it went together with the beef *Pork Belly Bao Buns: taste good, pillowy soft buns *Braised Beef Bao Buns: taste good and buns were shaped really nice *Garlic Noodles: this is good *Mango Soft Serve: a decadent ending to our meal Price is very reasonable and serving size is quite large. We were 4 in our party and we were so full. read more
Stopped by Piko Kitchen and Bar in Waikiki for a pau hana session with a friend from out of town. We both opted for their signature Hojicha Old Fashioned cocktail - a delightful concoction of hojicha-infused Kaiyo 7-year Japanese whisky, local honey, and grapefruit bitters. Each sip was a warm, comforting hug with a subtle twist of citrusy goodness. We weren't very hungry, but wanted to try the bao buns on tbe menu. The pork belly bao buns were a flavor explosion with hoisin, pickled mustard cabbage, sichuan salt, and topped with micro cilantro. The warm ginger chicken bao were also delicious - the galangal and spicy scallion salad added a tasty kick. Service was on point - friendly and speedy, just the way we like it. While the live local music pumped up the vibe, it did make it a tad loud for conversation. Validated parking is available with 2 hours for just $4 at the garage located in the Lilia Waikiki parking garage on Walina Street. There is limited table seating both inside and out along with bar seating, so reservations are recommended through OpenTable or by calling. read more

Crystal was our server and it was a great stop on our walk thru Waikīkī! Bar is on sidewalk in Waikīkī! Thank you Hawaii needs more places like this! read more
Great hidden gem, great happy hour! They had $5 bao buns and kimshe burgers. Love the decor inside, very modern. The place and bathroom was very clean. Our food came out fast and fresh. The server was very friendly and attentive to our requests. They have parking in the hotel which they validate. read more
This was a fun pau hana place for both locals and tourists to come in Waikiki. Indoor and outdoor seating. Ambiance is modern and hip. Easy to make reservations via OpenTable. Live music was playing outdoor by a local artist, but we weren't able to hear since we wanted AC inside. We ordered lots of dishes and did family style to try a plethora of food. The service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and everyone in the kitchen staff was so friendly. They all passed by and checked in with us as the night went on. I did like that they let us hang out and didn't pressure us to leave as soon as we were done eating. When we arrived they also gave us small 4 shots of drinks -aloe and calpico infused drinks! Really nice gesture. My favorite food items were probably the garlic noodles and braised beef / pork belly bao buns. Oxtail Saimin - oxtail was tender, but the broth was a little salty for my liking. Manila Clams were interesting take on Filipino dish. Side of white rice complemented the dish well. Winter special sticky ribs were tasty. We also got a few cocktail drinks: Piko Punch, Queens Break.. Drinks were tasty, but I didn't really taste the alcohol. Weak for me. Overall the food and ambiance were good and we would probably return for try more dishes and sit outside for the live music. read more
Employees were very attentive with server, manager and cooks checking in on our table. It might have been because it was during the Pearl Harbor parade in Waikiki, but at 6:30 on a Thursday night, it was relatively empty inside, which was nice as we had the whole interior to ourselves. Drinks and food came out at a good pace, without wanting for anything. This was a good place to meet some friends near their hotel who were visiting. Good mix of Asian and local fusion. We all ate family style, so it allowed the 4 of us to try a good portion of the menu. The noodle dishes were well seasoned and flavored with garlic. The pork belly bao buns were well made. Braised short ribs and oxtail were tender and not chewy. Mixed drinks taster good, but were balanced and not alcohol forward. read more
A great place, especially for their happy hour. This place has great food and amazing happy hour pricing. I had a $5 burger and a $5 local beer, which made for a delightful dinner. And it was made even better thanks to the live music and great people-watching location. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing scenic or romantic about this place and you'll have plenty of scenery and romance opportunities during your stay. However, if you want what may be the best food value you'll see while you're here then you'll want to stop by if you're in this part of town. read more

Drove down Kūhiō Ave and the sidewalk sign: "BEER, BAO, & BURGERS $5 EACH" caught our eye. We had the option of sitting at the outside bar, outside table or inside. It was warm out so hubby and I opted to sit inside and the cool a/c was perfect. We stopped by during the happy hour time to enjoy drinks and the food caught our eye. Pork belly in the bao was cooked perfectly in my opinion. It was thick, flavorful, and juicy! The Kalbi burger seemed so simple but well executed. The Kimchee slaw in the burger was the cherry on top! We were also grateful to have received the North Shore Garlic Fries at no charge and we enjoyed that too! The staff were all very pleasant and anyone who walked by checked in on us. We really had a happy hour at Piko Kitchen+Bar!! Can't wait to go back! read more
Excellent happy hour. Food here is pretty good, creative, and has a great presentation. Bar area is outdoors but rooftop covered with some inside seating. They regularly have live music. Drinks are mostly simple cocktails, would be nice if there were some tropical options. read more
A place that both locals and tourists can enjoy, Piko located in the middle of Waikiki on Kuhio Ave. it's great if you can walk over there. Walking over from my cousin's hotel made me feel less guilty about eating so much. This place has a great casual but classy Waikiki vibe with indoor and outdoor seating options. Love the live music which is not too loud! Friendly professional service with a great food and drink menu that includes a lot of local elements in a creative and delicious way! Everything on this second visit was sooo good and I thought better than my first! Started with the Li hing Strawberry Soda which was refreshing and not too sweet. The Kabocha fries (gluten free) with rosemary Gochugaru seasoning and lemon aioli was sooo good! The crispy outside was a perfect compliment to the soft kabocha inside. Loved the Manila clam pinakbet which came with a generous amount of clams! This non-traditional version tasted more like a Thai Tom Yum with its tamarind butter flavor. I'm not complaining because I love the sour soup, just didn't expect it. The braised short rib adobo was very tasty and very tender and paired beautifully with the slightly crispy rice that came with it. Highly recommend this!! For dessert the Mango soft serve is the I only option. Luckily you can't go wrong with it! It is large so three of us did a good job of sharing it. It comes with fun Accompaniments of toasted coconut (my fave), mini mochi balls, puffed rice, pineapple and li hing powder . Our server Clif was friendly and very professional which made it even better. On my first visit I had the Izakaya wasabi potato salad which was not only delicious but one of the best buys in Waikiki! You can taste the wasabi without it being overpowering and the crunch of cucumber and carrot. The Garlic noodles with Waialua egg and freshly grated Parmesan cheese hand tossed was good but would have been better served f we had ordered a protein to go on top. The Loco moco which came highly recommended was a neatly stacked circle of beef atop a circle of rice with was slightly crispy. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it wasn't bad. Loved the live music by Keoni Ku and Kehau who took over after our less friendly waiter left, was very personable and helpful. Would like to return for Happy Hour 2-5 one day ! read more

We stopped in for late night drinks and appetizers. Everyone here was so friendly! Both the staff and the regulars. We had lovely conversations sitting at the bar. The old fashioned was great. My daughter's and I were kind of pressed for time before a snorkel trip and stumbled upon this place. The hostess greeted us right away and told us they could accommodate our short window for lunch. Tatianna approached us almost immediately with a friendly smile, ready to take our order to accommodate our time restraint. It was very reasonably priced (considering what I had been paying for for meals!). My daughter ordered fried rice off the kids menu which was delicious and reminded me of one of my favorite rice dishes -"Nasi goring." My oldest ordered the spicy noodles and that was delicious as well!! Great amount of spice and a generous portion. I got the poki for "MP" which can be 2 of scariest letters on any menu. I was expecting to pay $50 at minimum for my poki and to my pleasant surprise, $20! It was delish!! We will definitely try and make a trip back before our departure. read more
Located in the heart of Waikiki, this little gem serves amazing food and drinks. We managed to find street parking, but they do have validated parking located inside the Lilia Waikiki Hotel (enter from Walina St). We were here for a Yelp Elite event, but the food and drinks looked sooo good, we ended up ordering more. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but after spotting a cute doggy, I had to sit outside so I could look at the cutie from afar. First up- the alcohol. We got the Piko Punch per recommendation from our server. She told us that it was a good drink that would leave you walking out a little funny if you drank more than 1. She wasn't wrong! The drink tasted good and if you did drink more than 1, you would definitely feel that punch. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a good, yet strong drink to start the night. We ordered the warm ginger chicken bar buns for our appetizer. The buns are black! Which was SO cool and looked nice for the pictures. It even tasted delicious. The ginger chicken wasn't the traditional Chinese ginger chicken style, but it was good in its own special way. There were pieces of shredded chicken and green onion stuffed into a warm bun. A great app to start off our meal. The garlic noodles was another recommendation. It came with an egg yolk on a bed of warm noodles. The server came by with cheese that he grated on top then mixed with the noodles and egg, which created a creamy, cheesy sauce. The noodles were perfection. If there was ONE dish to order, this would be it. As we were eating, we saw another tables order of fried chicken pass us and we really wanted it, but we were already full. We will definitely be back to try the fried chicken another day and possibly bring a pup with us too :) We love dog friendly places! read more
What a gem in Waikiki. Only 5 minutes from our hotel I am sad we didn't come here earlier in our trip only to find it on our last day. Piko has incredible fusion food that really sets it apart from all the other restaurants we ate at. This is not your typical menu. To start I had a Hawaii Blue Lemonade which is non-alcoholic and one of the best "lemonades" I have tasted. A little coconut and citrus is a great combo. To start we ate the Brussels Kimchee which was a fantastic combo. The name says it all. We then went onto the 3 main dishes. First was the garlic noodles with a nice loose egg yolk mixed in and then topped with fresh grated parmesan, grated by our server who then mixed up the noodles, egg yolk and cheese. This was incredible tasting and led us into the two Bao buns. The bao buns are like street tacos, soft pillows of fluffy bao with both braised beef and pork belly. You get two of each, and they are very filling. The flavors in the bao were awesome. The pork belly had a nice big piece of belly that was all meat, not a slab of fat I have gotten other places. Cooked perfect with a crispy outer shell and tender inner of pure pork belly heaven. Our server was awesome, everyone had a smile on their face including ours. DO NOT miss this place. They are open for breakfast and have live music every night. Bummer we only had one meal here as I would of been back for breakfast! 5 read more
How have I not gone to this little hidden gem before?! They are located in the former food pantry space right under the new foodland in waikiki...in fact like Et Al and eleven they are part of foodland! They have a nice outdoor seating area as well as a bunch of tables inside as well. Really nice ambiance and the night we went there was a guy singing music outside. We parked at international market place and walked over, one thing to note is that they now require you to spend $25 for validation and not $10 like it was before. The service was excellent, we were seated rather promptly and our server was really good, explaining the food options and the things that they liked. Freddie was also an excellent host!! Really made us feel taken care of and welcomed. We ordered a couple drinks, very fancy looking! My wife got this lychee froze which was almost like a lychee slushie, delish! I got this apple pie old fashioned. It had way less of a bite than a normal old fashion in a good way, the maple and the green apple crown they used softened and sweetened it nicely. Food wise we got the Manila clam pinakbet, they give you a lot of clams and the broth...the broth is so good! I also love kabocha which was present in the dish along with green beans and tomatoes. The baos were really really good! The pickled vegetables that they used really balanced out the fattiness of the pork belly. The garlic noodles were good, nice and creamy with the egg and all the parmesan cheese that they grate on it table side. the ahi cakes were good as well! they had a aioli sauce that came with it but honestly it didn't need it. It didn't have a fishy smell at all. For dessert we had their mango ice cream, that was really refreshing, they gave you your own bottle of lihing powder to put as much of it as you like. read more

We stopped by here for a quick drink and bite. It was near our hotel. The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming. We tried the Mango Mule, Hibiscus Rita, and Yuzu Collins. We could all agree our drinks were 4/5. The shots were amazing! Not the most flavorful but still decent. The Hurricane fries were amazing 5/5, packed with flavor and crisp. The ambience also gets a 5/5 due to the amazing live music and vibes. Our server was Clif, and he's been a great host. It's been a great visit here, I would recommend it to anyone visiting Waikiki! read more

We had an amazing time at Happy Hour with our bartender Danielle! She was extremely communicative and kind, and we loved her energy!! She even gave us tips on where to go and where to avoid around Waikiki. I ordered the hibiscus 'Rita and my husband made his way through all 4 local beers on tap, as well as the delicious kalbi burger and garlic fries. 10/10 we would definitely visit again! read more
We had a reservation, but they didn't check us in for it. We sat for a while with no service. Eventually our server made his was to us and got our drink order. He forgot our waters. Eventually he brought them and took our food order. We selected the Okinawa Soba Noodles, the Hawaiian Beef Jerky and the chicken long rice gyoza. All was tasty, but they are small tapas size portions. Also it was difficult to tell if the chicken in the gyoza was cooked through so I opted not to eat the last piece. The noodles were creamy and garlicy, very nice also unexpectedly spicy, so keep that in mind! We would try this place again if not very hungry, but not if looking for a big filling meal. read more

Just a heads up! While the Bao Buns are delicious and visually appealing, whatever dye they use in the dough, comes out the same color on the other end.... Not very pleasant. While the service was amazing, and the seating was outdoors, I would only recommend to grab pupus if you have a long wait for dinner reservations elsewhere. read more
Nestled below the Waikiki Market is Piko kitchen and Bar. Parking garage on Walina st. Indoor seating a nice ocean teal blue, gives an upscale fishing vibe. Whisler basket lighting and earthy backsplash. The wood grains definitely contracts well with the blue. Music compliment the decor and environment. Our server Clif was excellent in providing options and knowing the menu. He knows his products. Complimentary aloe shot to start us off. And delicious dynamite rice with seared ahi: a ginger filled dish with spice and buttery flavors to sit and last. The ginger chicken bao was AMAZING. The crunch from the chicken skin, the softness of the bun and the ginger flavor from the sauce compliments each other well. It's like a flavor explosion! Keep in mind to check your friends teeth before leaving the booth the charcoal bun can stick to your teeth. Kombucha fries from the Fall menu was nice and crispy without too much oiliness. Rosemary packed panko with a rosemary aioli for dipping. Mmmm mmmm. This is an excellent place for lunch with the girls or catching up with friends. Would recommend coming back. read more
