I order from this store quite often, and, lately, the quality of their salads has been very low. For example, I ordered a salad yesterday, and received a bunch of brown, slimy lettuce, which, of course, I threw away. I had the best meatball sandwich in my life the other day from Piezoni's. My husband came home tonight and said what do you want for takeout cause we always get takeout on Friday and I said I want that Piezoni's meatball sandwich. I used to live down the street and this was mine and my husband's go to pizza spot. The service and food were always good. The food tastes fresh and prices were affordable. We always get bone in wings and chicken tenders; I love the BBQ or the sweet and spicy sauce for the wings. As for the pizzas, I've tried quite a few flavors. You can't go wrong with the following: Smokey Joe - this was our number one choice. Buffalo Chicken Grilled chicken bacon and ranch Meat lovers When we moved, we were sad to not have a Piezoni's nearby and I still crave it to this day. This was my Piezoni's of choice! No longer. We didn't order our usual pizzas, (not really in the mood), so instead ordered two subs to split. Wife ordered the Chicken Parm, I ordered the Italian. The Chicken Parm was essentially their boneless chicken tenders covered in Marinara sauce....extremely disappointed.....Parm??? NO...no Parmesan or Provolone cheese whatsoever. If I had known it was to be a chicken tenders sandwich, I don't think I would have bothered. The Italian also had no Provolone or cheese of any kind, inundated with Banana Peppers and what looked like a salad slaw of some sorts. Believe it had one slice of ham, one slice of salami and one of pepperoni. I put more meat on my lunchtime sandwich I make at home. The Boneless chicken tenders with buffalo sauce were barely covered with sauce. These I typically look forward too...but....I think I had my fill of chicken tenders with the sandwich and all. For whatever reason, this location is much better than the one on the EG/Warwick line across from Showcase. People are friendlier and the orders are ready on time. Depending on the time you go, it can be challenge getting in and out, but otherwise its a good spot for pizza. read more

I have not ordered from Piezonis in a while, but what showed up today was, lazy and careless, it tasted bland and dry! My food was burnt!! There was no cheese and no bbq sauce I'm not sure what happened here but it is not acceptable. I'll post pictures of the cookie, which was a real disappointment. From this order I can say it will be the last time I order from Piezonis, I mean what type of cook would see this order come out of the oven all burnt and says, "yeah, box that up...it looks good". Seriuosly... Its just disrespectful to the customer, while being a waste of money and poor brand management. Why deliver a bad product/service that, has a high probability of ending up online as a negative review? Placed our dinner order at 5pm. Did not leave there until 6pm. Food was actually sitting, waiting for pick up but the counter person didn't hear the order # we gave them. Finally had to ask someone what was taking so long. They realized the order was already done. Got the food home and it was cold and 3 out of the 4 orders were wrong. This isn't the first time we've had sub-par service but it will be the last. 2 stars b/c even the food was wrong at least it was edible. read more

This place is in the Apponaug section of Warwick. I ordered a small spinach, cheese and olive calzone. It was quit large. It really was enough for 2 people but I was able to muster through it. Really delicious!! Not too oily like some places. It is so great to have a meatless option that is so tasty. Will definitely stop by again. read more

This CT girl works in RI one day a week so I'm lucky enough explore new restaurants. This week my coworkers ordered from Piezoni's. I loved loved loved the BBQ Chicken pizza. The chicken was breaded and slightly crispy and the bbq sauce wasn't too over powering. Next had a slice of meatball with traditional red sauce. Not a fan. Nothing stood out so I didn't finish and tried the salad slice that had chicken. Didn't bother with the crust as it was slightly too thick and I didn't like that the chicken was cold but then it was salad pizza. I had to go back for another piece of the BBQ chicken. Fan favorite. I do need to mention that the pizza here is thick crust square. Pieces not slices. The crust held up well on some and not others. Had to use a fork for the meatball. I didn't mind but be prepared. This place is very inconsistent in their quality. I have had pizza with raw dough, bacon burgers with half a slice of bacon, ingredients left off of order entirely and delayed delivery. No one seems to care about the quality of the food they send out and there is terrible customer service when you call. It is a shame how awful the warwick location is because it is my understanding that other branches have fantastic food. I don't know what is happening to this place. It used to be really good. They put no effort in to the food anymore. It's getting to be just as bad as the Cranston location. I got a steak bomb today and it was an absolute disaster. Grease bomb would be a more accurate description. The grease leaked through the tin foil, the wax paper, and the bag. They did not toast the bread which resulted in a soggy un edible mess. Took 2 bites and threw it right in the trash. Very disappointed. Horrible service. Ordered food repeated my order twice they still failed to put the entire order in the system so half of our food was missing. Ordered delivery was told 30 minute wait.. food showed up 2 hours later and was cold without all of our food. Called place back to explain my problem was given an attitude and there was no manager on at the time so the employees kept passing the phone back and forth as if it was a joke. A woman came onto the phone threatened and flipped out saying to come there so she can fight me when all she was asked was what she can do to help me. When called the manager the next day was told I could get a refund of 28$ back refused to give it back through debt so I had to go there to get the cash and was only given $21 back which was not what we were told. I consider myself close to a fanatic about Pizza. Usually I'm the one eating all the leftovers until it's gone! We had issues roughly about a year ago and we decided to retry the business. I used to really like Piezonis. We placed an order: (the young lady taking the order sounded new but definitely a positive for the business). Ordered the Mediterranean-White pizza (oil & garlic), olives, tomatoes, spinach & feta cheese. Added mushrooms n pepperoni. Also ordered the PieZoni's Wings. Wings were absolutely delicious. Only saving factor on the meal. I asked for pizza well done (usually comes with a couple dark spots but better than not). Anyways Pizza tasted like cardboard no moisture at all (it actually tasted like it was made last week) and there was chicken on it as well. Not sure it was our pizza BUT for the first time in (I don't know how long). I threw the remaining pizza in the garbage. Never trying this place again :( read more

Tried for the first time and was terribly disappointed. Ordered online and picked up without incident. Cashier very friendly. Pizza was sad. Very little sauce, less cheese, little taste. When you order online the first thing they as is if you want "extra" cheese which seemed odd, but they apparently have different expectations. Ok, so this is not my first time to this chain. I've eaten at the Fall River and East Providence stores in the past, and they are good but unfortunately I had never ordered a calzone or pizza. Let me just say that the Smokey Joe calzone is THE BEST CALZONE I HAVE EVER EATEN! I always get the Smokey Joe sub, but the calzone is AMAZING! I wanted 2 of them despite the generous portion! We also got a small cheese pizza, because we thought we could score a free one with the Yelp Check-in deal. Unfortunately we did not read the fine print, so we had to pay. No biggie. The pizza was also fantastic, with thin crispy crust and atomic-hot melted cheese and sweet yummy sauce. Definitely a good pie. Holy Moly do my kids and I love this pizza. A FAMILY FRIENDLY restaurant where the staff and owner are pleasant and provide exceptional customer service. But the food you say? The food is soooo tasty. A weekly staple is the rectangle pepperoni pizza that my children devour with 1/2 the neighborhood kids. Great taste, Quality ingredients and made just right. Although, it is still listed as Pepperoni's, this place is now part of the PieZoni's chain of restaurants. The building still has a Pepperoni's sign on the side, and the PieZoni's sign is above the front entrance. From what I know, the same spot also used to house one of RI's famous New York System weiner restaurants.
