I paid CASH for a 2 year old GMC pickup in Sept. 2013. It only had 4,500 miles on the odometer when I purchased it. A few months later I noticed a low tire so I took it to get air in the tire. It was pointed out to me that my tires were 2006 manufactured tires and one was ready to separate from the wheel and there were cracklings on two of the four tires. I went into the dealer and complained to the GM Steve Sittauer. He said he had too much money into the truck and would do nothing to make this right. Also, the truck had been lowered but it didn't appear so and the dealer said they knew nothing about it being lowered. I discovered this when I had mud flaps installed and they rubbed due to the front end being lowered. The dealership paid half of the over $800 to put the truck back to level. I did this because I bought the truck as a RV trailer towing vehicle. It needed to be level. ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED if they would have disclosed the truck had been lowered (like a dealer doesn't know this)! ALLOWING A VEHICLE TO BE SOLD WITH DANGEROUS TIRES is unacceptable! Drew was completely no-pressure, and patient with my reluctance due to previous bad experiences at dealerships. He didn't rush me or make me feel bad for being so hesitant. I visited this dealership twice this past month looking to possibly trade in my truck for a Jeep Wrangler. I learned two things from the salesmen I worked with. First trip the salesman looked up my truck on KBB and came up with a rock bottom wholesale number. I told him that they would have to do better than that, but nope that't it. So I left. Last weekend I stopped in to see a used wrangler that they had recently brought in. It was nice. I would have liked to see if a deal could be worked out. But, the salesman proceeded to tell me that they do not negotiate on price and that they are so competitively priced that they would only likely knock off a hundred bucks or so on a $25,000 vehicle. So I left. Two days later, I noticed that the dealership dropped the sale price by $500. Guess they are not very eager to sell cars and possibly prey on the uninformed or desperate customers. Bummer, I would have liked that Jeep and would have been open to a fair deal, not a sucker deal, a fair one. read more

Revising my review: I purchased a Silverado from here. Kevin was super friendly but seems incompetent when it comes to diesel engines, power, and MPG. I wish he would have told me that upfront, as I relied on his ignorant knowledge. He told me that there were calls coming from Colorado of people that wanted to fly in to buy this truck. Because I thought I wanted a diesel, I ended up buying a truck that sucks to drive and seems like a mechanical mess waiting to happen. Haven't even made my first payment and I'm not happy with the purchase and I am still finding problems with the truck. I had a few items on the truck that got passed up through inspection that I had to bring back in a couple times(as I discovered them) to get fixed and they repaired them with no problems or additional cost. I dropped off the truck on Monday expecting a call and when I didn't hear back at 5:00pm that evening I called and no one knew my truck was there. I drove there to find out that it didn't get logged in their system. Their mechanics were very helpful and their sales manager, Tal, was very helpful but seems like communication between management and employees needs to be adjusted. I don't know if I'll buy a GM product again. read more

Yes, 5 stars! My earlier post referenced that I was going to purchase a truck, but I ended up leasing the 2015 GMC Terrain Denali. This dealership goes above and beyond customer satisfaction. Extremely kind and very family-oriented. I spent about 3 hours at the dealership, but not because of crunching numbers, rather enjoying a humorous conversation with the staff there. Purchased a car from this dealer in the early fall 2010. I have purchased 7 cars from dealers in the last 11 years and have NEVER had such a horrific experience. I found the car I wanted on the internet and contacted the dealership with an offer, over the phone the salesman assured me that I would not only get the price I was asking out the door but also have a short visit (about an hour) since I had a check in hand.... It did not go that way at all!! I ended up paying several hundred more than agreed (he claimed originally that he had already gotten a green light for the price I was asking from management) and was stuck in the dealership for over 2 and half hours! I should have just walked away but I still was getting a decent deal on the car so I decided just to eat it. When I called to ask a desk manager later about some wording I noticed on a document the man was YELLED at me for not understanding. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people and wonder how that dealer manages to stay afloat. I do not recommend these people. read more

Firstly I have been coming to clyde revord for a decade, that being said service had steadily declined to the sad state or is in today. I stood waiting for someone to help me in service, then "Kai" helped me by telling me they can look at it but have no idea when. Was told it would be done by 1pm the next day and it's now 3. No one seems willing to help me until my service advisor comes back from lunch. I'm not asking for much but simply asking the tech if my vehicle is done. No such luck. I bought a new GMC terrain for my wife about a few months into the pandemic and the first night we had it, we spent a few hours with towels because of a leak in the sunroof. No mention of this when we purchase it and i called the next day and they said to bring it in and they would fix it. About 6 months later it started leaking in the same place. We took it in and they said no it was a different part but the same area of leak. Then a lot of back and forth later, they ended up charging me $175 and I was like whatever fine... I get back in the terrain after they fixed the sunroof leak and I look up and they made a big hole in the headliner! At first he was like are you sure this wasn't there, I couldn't believe it... I said no 100% Then he realized he looked at this before with my wife and it was not there before. One of the tec's did it and just didn't say anything. No real sorry or anything out any of them. The manger then wanted us to have it patched to save them money haha I almost did that too because that's the type of person I am but This was not our fault and should be done correctly and replaced because you could still see it after wards if they just patched it they said. I also noticed tape from the repair on the sun roof still and it was all over the top. The next phone call to them, I mention all this to him and again no sorry or anything but bring it in and we will take it off. Finally after getting the new headliner replaced and getting into the terrain to leave I looked up and there is still tape all over the top... I believe I'm a very balanced and patient person but this repeating mistakes is unacceptable! The poor workmanship and lack of knowledge from the desk to the back tec's is crazy! be aware if you have to deal with them. Came in to replace my pregnant wife's stolen car. Jason was my salesman and he was eager to get us in to check out the car and was nice enough while I was there. The car seemed like a good deal, so I made the purchase. Drove the car home and parked it for the night. The next day the check engine light came on. I called Jason to see if we could have the car checked out, I wasn't looking to get any money back or return the car as it was still driving fine, I was just hoping to get it checked out and if it was a simple fix maybe having them take care of it for us. Jason said he would talk with his boss and call me back. Never heard from him again. Called the next day and same story. Called the next day and asked for the manager, left him a voicemail and never heard from him. I'm almost certain that the code was present when they serviced the car and probably just cleared the code...planned to come back when it was time to upgrade my car, but that won't be happening anymore....only positive thing is that the guy from financing was nice and not pushy about selling extras. read more

I signed up for Yelp specifically to give this review. My wife and I were looking for a specific year, make, and model of car for a few weeks. These guys got one in, and we decided to take a look at it. The salesman was a 'typical' car salesman - he didn't want us to leave, offered to sell us other cars when we couldn't agree on price, told us as we were leaving that they were going to raise the price of the car we had looked at, etc. It really turned me off. I thought those days were over, but I guess not. He wanted to play the "payments" game instead of talking about price, which is obviously a bad idea. That also turned me off. When we finally agreed on price, I told him that if the paperwork was going to take a while that we would go across the street and have dinner. We have two small children and they were getting hungry, bored, and tired. He assured me that the paperwork would only take a few minutes, and that it wouldn't be worth my time to leave. As it turned out, it took a lot longer - somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour - for them to get everything in order. That irritated me. Overall, while I'm pleased we got the car we were looking for, the experience was really not pleasant. read more

Bought a used truck there. Asked the sales guy if there was another key. He said that was the only one. Only minor annoyance was that the initial interest rate the salesman showed me was a little lower than the rate the finance company came back with. Odie saved the day here. He is a sales manager. Two months after I bought the truck I was screwing with the settings and created a valet key. Its a Ford thing. Locked my truck to below 80 mph, limited the radio volume and some other stupid stuff. I needed the admin key. I got 1 key with the truck. It was not the admin key. $400 to get a new one programmed. The salesman I bought the truck from told me that I was SOL over the phone. "There's nothing we can do after 2 months". I told him to read the bad review I was about to write in a few minutes and he was like "OK". Less than a minute after I hung up Odie calls back and tells me he contacted the previous owner and would get the admin key for me. I guess he heard the convo on the phone I just had with the sub par salesman. I just picked up the admin key and now I can jam out and go over 80mph. Hurray for Odie. Good experience. read more

Know what makes me not want to buy a car? Sexism. Let's start with my demographics. Female, pushing 30 (hard), master's degree with extensive work in economics, US Army veteran (deployed 2012), prior Subaru owner, currently shopping for a car for my mother, budget $13,000, brother in law on text looking up facts about the car. I thought I had found a perfect Subaru Legacy. 2013, just over my budget at $13,888, 77k miles-- a little high for a four year old car but still under 100k (Subarus typically need new timing belts at 100k). The salesman I test drove with (I'll call him Nate) was nice, congenial, and thoughtful in his approach. I thought, "hooray! the search is over." Lol... nah. It wasn't. First they send over a kid, and I mean kid. I'll call him "Cody", looked in the 18-22 year old category. I asked if they could bring the price down to $12,500. He said (mansplained... boysplained?), "I don't know Elizabeth. I'll have to talk to my boss. I don't know where you heard that we can barter back and forth. But the internet has taken all that away (more stuff about the internet, I tuned out). This is the new way. I mean I can go talk to my boss and go to bat for you but I don't think he's going to want to come down." OH! The internet! Shoot! I forgot the internet ruins the understood agreement that all customers haggle cars. I replied, "go to bat, Cody." He came back with a measly $13,600. Okay Cody, I'll take your $13,600 if you can deliver the car to a GMC across the state. He said he'd ask. The game continued. The ol' leave the customer waiting act (I was texting my boyfriend, brother in law, and old sergeant-major). He came back and said they could do it. But when I said, "okay I want to get out of here at $14,000, $14,250." Cody got all flustered and had to run back to the boss. I really just wanted to know what I was actually going to have to spend walking out the door. He handed me a paper with something in the ball park of $15,600. Lol... again, nah. Then whoever was sitting behind his desk, I assume, "the boss", proceeded to argue with me. Instead of regaling the entire story to you, here are some of his comments: "I'm a Washington State resident, I pay taxes. Don't ask me to pay yours." I'm a veteran, dude. You're welcome. And that four year old car with 77k miles on it, isn't worth what you're asking for it. It's not the taxes. "I don't know where you're getting your info from but you need to do your research." KBB had the car at $11,400. My brother-in-law had been texting me throughout this entire process as he had a computer in front of him. He buys and sells cars all the time, specifically Subarus. Consider it a ghost male and if he had been there, I'm sure you wouldn't have been such an (expletive). "I think you can afford more. I think you need a new bank." Yeah man, I can afford more. But that's the budget I set. Women are risk averse; they actually tend not to jump into bigger financial purchases on impulse. It's why more women don't get involved with the stock market and increase their wealth. The stock market seems like too big of a risk. And I don't need a new bank. USAA was one of the only banks who made money in the financial crisis. The funny thing is... they could have finessed this sale by knowing their demographics. Even if they truly could not have come down anymore, and I believe they could, I wouldn't be writing this review right now if they had exercised dignity. Additionally, if they spoke with "Nate" who did a good job of talking back and forth with me and learning about me, they would have understood a few things first. 1. I know about supply and demand. Supply is high in Washington State for Subarus (trust me, I tried to buy one in North Carolina and there were hardly any used Subarus to be found). The supply is about to go higher with Subaru's annual sale. People will be trading in their old models left and right for the upgraded versions. All I have to do is wait it out. 2. I was buying the car for someone else. My price was firm. I might have splurge on myself, maybe. But I had a very specific set of parameters. 3. Don't send "the kid" out to insult my intelligence. If you did have to send "the kid" out, he should have addressed me as ma'am-- no really, that's good customer service. You had my license, my birthday was on it. read more

Purchasing my car was easy with Clyde Revord. I fell in love with the second car I drove, a 2012 GMC Terrain with low miles and AWD. As a nanny, upgrading my Toyota Camry was important, and this car checked all my boxes. Purchasing and financing was easy, and they even waited for me while I found my misplaced ID card, so I could take it home that day. They washed my car while I waited, were super efficient when I brought it back to put on my permanent plates. I just took it in for its first oil change [complimentary!] and they washed it again! Things started out fine; went up early to see a car - had an inexperienced sales person though who couldn't make any decisions whatsoever. Spent over 2 hours at the bargaining table. Left for another appt. Received text messages that they wanted to do business with me. I too had a trade in vehicle. Called back, agreed to a price, and said I would be up within 1/2 hour. The financial paperwork had already been completed so it should have been a snap. Not so much. Waited close to 2 hours to see the ogre in their finance department. I was not happy with the communication, to many employees involved. First time dealing with them was very comfortable but two years later it turned out to be very disappointing. I bought online and ask for a certain vehicle and when delivered to my house nothing was said otherwise. Two days later when I was adding it to the insurance they said that this was not what I ask for. BUYERS BEWARE! Dan, Tim and their sales managers will sell imported vehicles without bringing them up to US standards. When given the opportunity to fix the vehicle they never should have sold, they DECLINED and when I clarified this by asking "So your saying I have to eat this repair?" Dan (my salesman) said "YES" This is also the SAME salesman that said during the test drive that the dash had already been replaced. If you are misguided enough to buy a car from them, check the CarFax and see if it was from Canada. If so, have it inspected by a PROFESSIONAL dealership of a like brand to ensure it meets US standards. So I as a consumer am forced to repair a one year old 2014 GMC Sierra that has the wrong Instrument Cluster which will cost about $400 with Labor. The only good experience with the dealership was with Heather in Finance, she should seriously consider leaving. read more

So we went to Everett to check out a truck my husband was interested in, the person in charge of internet/texting was good about keeping us informed that the truck was still available when we had to wait several days before we could find time to drive up for a test drive. We pulled in, went straight to the truck was met by Jesse who grabbed the keys and took rode with us for the test drive. Husband wanted to compare it to another truck on the lot and we took that for a drive as well. No hassles whatsoever. We were already approved through our bank and told them we like the first truck and that we were approved, we didn't tell them the amount we were approved for but we weren't hassled at all. Took a while for paperwork etc, but not bad. We only asked for a couple small negotiations which were easy enough. Jesse was friendly the entire time, even talked to our 9 year old that was stuck with us and didn't treat any of us as idiots. I don't know how they would have been if we wanted to haggle a bit more but we had done our research and felt it was a fair price and we needed it. So for the first time in my life we walked out paying close to ask price. All things considered, it is still buying a vehicle..not my favorite thing to do, but they were friendly and not overly "car salesmany" like so many other lots we have been too. We will see how the truck holds up but for the dealership I would recommend them read more

I honestly think this place discriminates. I was there with a check to buy a car and they would not sell it to me. I came on a Tuesday night after work, which was hard because I get off at 6:00 and they close at 7:00. I liked a car, but when they told me the price out the door it was more than 10% over the supposed sale price online. They were adding extra fees. I counteroffered and they just said, "No. Good luck." They didn't even offer me a different price. I'm still shopping, though, and I know the car had been there a while so I checked on it online over the next couple days. Low and behold, the price came down $500 so I call and tell them I've looked around and make another offer. They didn't even call me, though, when they knew I was only in the market for this kind of car and I'd asked them to call me if the price came down. I had to look online and find out for myself. After I make the new offer, they say they need to "talk to the manager" and come up with a counter. They call me back with not a big decrease, but right then I said I'd take it. I made an appointment for twenty minutes out to be there. About five minutes out, I get a call that someone else is test driving it and they just wanted to let me know. I say okay, it's no big deal. I'm still taking the car. When I get there the gal tells me that when two people want a car there's a bidding war sometimes and whoever gets the paperwork in first gets the car. So, for the second time, I said I'll take it and let's do the paperwork. She gets up to get it taken care of it and, for the second time that day, I agreed to buy the car. She sends a guy back five minutes later to tell me that I can't buy the car. She had, literally, just told me the car was mine. He said because they were in the car test driving it they got to refuse it first. I said I had driven it first and I didn't understand why they had even been taken out in the car when I had an appointment to purchase it. I explained that when one is trying to get an apartment, the first person to pay the deposit, gets the place. I said the girl had just told me I could buy it now and I'd agreed. I said that I'd agreed to it earlier as well. I said she just said if we started the paperwork first I could buy it and I said to start the paperwork, but they refused. It was a Caucasian couple who had test driven not only the car I was buying, but two others as well. Apparently they can Hold three cars for a Caucasian couple who was on the fence, but not Sell one to the single black lady who has offered to purchase and those offers have been accepted Twice. I honestly have never experienced anything like it in my life and I don't know how else to explain it. I told the girl who was helping me that I didn't think I was being treated fairly and she said, and I quote, "Yeah. This whole industry isn't fair." One star is truly too many. I don't think I've ever been treated this way in my entire life. It goes beyond bad service - they literally sold me a car and then said, "No. We've decided to sell it to these people instead." Wow. In all my 63 years, I have never had an experience such as this with any car dealership (and believe me, I have dealt with many). After my wife and I had bargained hard to get an acceptable deal, about an hour later we entered the finance office and began going over the paperwork. Then, a gentleman(?) approached the office and began berating (yelling at) my wife and myself for some perceived unacceptable behavior on our part and accused us of being rude and disrespectful to his finance person and sales staff. Needless to say, I was stunned and amazed. My first reaction was to tell this "person" to buzz off and let us complete the transaction. Then came the real shocker; he stated: "I am the owner and I can decide not to sell you the car!" He was obviously not pleased as to how we had somehow "disrespected" his employees. He went on to continue to yell at us for at least two minutes (it seemed a lot longer!) I might add that at no time were we overtly loud, rude, or disruptive in any way, unless of course, this "owner" is not accustomed to prospective buyers who have little patience for the standard ration of dealer BS, and prefer to cut to the chase, and actually "deal" to arrive at an acceptable price and complete the sale. Now I realize buying a car from a dealer is not a pleasurable experience for many people, and after waiting for about an hour before we were called into the finance office, we were getting tired and impatient as we were concerned about other appointments that we did not want to miss. Sure, we were grumbling and a little upset, but that in no way justified the despicable behavior of this so-called "owner." If this individual cannot empathize with his customers and instead prefers to throw a tantrum, then he needs to stay off the sales floor and leave the task to someone more suited for the job (i.e., everyone else we dealt with). Oh, and by the way, the finance person (Jennifer) and salesman (Tim)were very professional, friendly and their service was exemplary. It is a pity that they have to work for an "owner" who is as caustic and foul as this individual, who apparently knows (or cares) nothing about customer service. As for me, I view this as a somewhat gratifying experience. Over the years, many of my friends have had less than pleasurable encounters with car sales people, some who would reach the point of actually yelling at the customer. I think I may have my friends beat: I had the so-called "owner" blowing his gasket, and we got the car. So unless you are prepared to be verbally abused for driving a hard bargain (i.e. actually dealing), and being a little impatient when waiting an hour to begin to complete your deal, avoid this dealership. Stay far, far away from this place. I purchased an 06 VW Passat from Clyde Revord on 1/9/11 and had to take it back the next day for service. I was assured the day I bought it that the car had been thoroughly inspected and that everything had passed with flying colors. During the test drive it started to snow and was very cold, so the brakes were making a noise. I asked to have them inspected and was told to schedule an appointment to have them looked at. The next morning when I got in the car, it wouldn't start at first. Since it was so cold, I thought that may be the cause, but on the way to work, the check engine light came on. Furious, I called the dealer and left work early to take the car in for analysis. I arrived well before closing, but was rushed off the lot in a loaner until the next day (so inconvenient!). I came back Tuesday and was told that the service light came on due to the gas cap not being on securely (I had yet to even touch the gas cap, but I've heard of this before and accepted the logic). The next day I ended up stranded in a parking lot for 2 hours because the car would not start. I called the dealership and told them what had happened and the salesman came and jumped the car for me and I was once again given the loaner car while they replaced my battery. My problem with this is simple. If the diagnostics had been run the first time I brought the car in, wouldn't any tech worth their salt have noticed the battery was dying!? Did they even run the diag the first time or did they brush me off because I'm just a dumb girl that doesn't know about cars? I fear the latter. The place is seeping with sleaze and everyone loves to rush you out the door. The finance department was rude and treated myself and my mother like we were idiots. What a great way to close a sale. The staff there is rude, unhelpful and condescending. Don't waste your time and do NOTgive them your money. You will be sorry the moment you leave the lot. I know I am. read more

Honestly that was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Purchased a used vehicle on July 2, 2016. We found one online, went over and took it for a test drive, knew it was what we wanted, and started the buying process. Andrew was great. Honestly it just seemed to go as smooth as possible. We felt like we got a good deal without having to do any negotiating. In fact they gave us a greater discount than we had asked for. I felt like they were very friendly, not the slightest bit pushy in any regard, and I loved that we didn't have to talk to multiple people to finalize the sale. Andrew took care of all the running around for us. All we had to do was sign the paperwork and head home. They even agreed to let us stop by on another day to drop off a check for a down payment when we forgot to bring the checkbook in. Perfect example of great customer service and how a car buying experience should be ~ especially when we were buying a car to replace one totaled in an accident.
