I didn't have a bad experience either time I came here for service, but it wasn't great either. No vacuuming or cleaning was done and waiting room refreshments were pretty limited. Like most dealerships, the prices are high ($40 conventional oil change) and the waits are long (an hour fifteen for an oil change with an appointment). They also apparently don't check tire pressure while doing a tire rotation which seems odd to me. Service has never knocked my socks off either, but the honesty I've gotten going in here has been worth it mostly (apart from being told I need my tranny fluid replaced when I just had that service 10k miles ago). No swindling to get me to have other services or dumbing it down because I'm female. read more

My fiance' and I are people that like to pay cash for everything...unfortunately this doesn't bode well for our credit. We decided to finance a newer vehicle to help build our credit, but getting finacing for the car was difficult. We tried a lot of different avenues and were pretty much ignored by other dealerships even though we both make good money. At first, David in internet sales treated us the same way as everyone else had (ignoring our phone calls, telling us they would get back to us and never following up, acting like we were a burden). The sales manager Russ then followed up with us and worked hard to get us the finacing we need. They really met all of our requests and did so with a smile. Drew in financing was very helpful and even after we had purchased the car they found us better financing and had us come in to resign paperwork for a better interest rate. Clyde Revord treated us kinder than any other dealership and got us the car we wanted instead of the car that they wanted us to buy. PROS: Russ and Drew were both very helpful and professional. They cared enought to call us back and offer us a better interest rate CONS: I hate to see sales people smoke or smell like smoke (personal pet peeve, even though I enjoy an occasional cigarette) The car wasn't detailed too well either. read more

This is a terrible dealership with horrible customer service. My car was not ready when it should have been. They promised me a loaner car, however; one was unavailable when I got to the dealership, so I had to drive to Enterprise to pick up a rental. My car was promised to be done on a Wednesday and two days later it was still not ready because they ordered the wrong part. To make it worse, the dealership never called me rather I had to keep calling them to see if it was ready yet. Once it was finally ready to be picked up, I got in my car and realized my designer sunglasses and case (which were in separate areas in the car) had been stolen. The service guy I was working with admitted he saw them there when I dropped the car off and told me the dealership would pay for them. Over one month later, and over ten calls to that service guy (again, they would not call me and I had to keep calling them), I have yet to receive payment - I finally talked to the GM yesterday who told me they were not paying for them, and then proceeded to hang up on me. This is a terrible dealership with extremely poor customer service and unethical behavior. Do not go here. read more

I was in an auto accident and was looking to buy a similar car to the one I lost. I called this dealership after finding a similar model on their website. They confirmed that the car was in stock and scheduled me for a test drive several days later. On the day of my appointment, I drove 45 minutes over to the dealership only to find out that the car I was scheduled to test drive had been sold that morning. Nobody had the courtesy to call me and let me know this, despite having my contact information and knowing exactly what car I was interested in. They had no comparable vehicles on the lot, but quickly tried to talk me into test driving some larger, more expensive cars they were trying to sell. If you're looking to be treated with basic common courtesy, run far away from this place. It was clear that they have no interest in helping their customers find the right vehicle. I've been coming here for the last couple years for parts. Just stuff like batteries, windshield wipers (1996 Camaro, non-standard), and a few other things. They've always been able to help me same day, or order the parts and have them available the following day. Once, I went in to see if they had some steering column parts for an 89 Silverado, and we pulled up some drawings and identified what parts they were. They were in a kit though, and I only needed 1 part, so I didn't order it. But I was then able to identify the name of the part and find it elsewhere. read more

Short and sweet version: went to this dealership to test drive and possibly buy a used SUV, that was listed online. Other than being a little overpriced, the initial salesman (Dan) contact and test drive went well. Things went downhill when Dan made the comment "if you don't buy it, the 2 ladies in the other room are waiting for it". Typical cheesy dealership sales pressure tactics, which I don't respond well to. I brushed that off because Dan seems like a nice guy, and I believe the pressure was prompted by his sales manager. After a brief side phone conversation with my wife, we decided that this vehicle was not for us. I walked back to Dan and told him we are going to pass on this vehicle. He said that he understood, and respectfully tried to save the sale. Dan then walked me to another office and introduced me to Jessie (cheesy sales manager). Jessie's response to me passing in the vehicle was "that's fine, we'll call the other girls. They'll buy it". WOW, that was sad. He could use a nice long class in professionalism, but little is expected from car salesman anyway. Do not buy from this dealership. They only care about making a sale and getting paid. My husband and I came here in hopes to find a commuter vehicle. We set our expectations from the get go as far as where we wanted to be payment wise and how much we wanted to put down. After test driving several vehicles within a three hour time frame and finding one we thought may work for us they could not meet our expectations as far as payment and down payment. A man named Jeff, who we had no communication with the entire three hour duration of our stay then proceeds to say "really? You just wasted three hours of his time." Needless to say, we were extremely upset and walked out after that comment was made. The day after this incident occurred, we got a phone call from Jesse, who was our sales guy, who did absolutely everything in his power to rectify the situation and made it right. They got an amazing interest rate for us, around the payment we wanted a month with the amount we wanted to put down. I am very pleased with the outcome and will be coming back to Jesse once we are ready to buy again. Most dealerships would not have even attempted to make that situation right but they did which says a lot about their character. I obviously wouldn't recommend going to Jeff because of his arrogance and lack of manners but I would definitely recommend Jesse as he was honest and rectified what could have been a terrible experience. read more

I don't normally write reviews but the disrespect my wife and I were shown here was fairly shocking. I had submitted an inquiry online for a used Acadia and was promptly contacted by Jason the next day to schedule a time to come check it out for a test drive (this was a Friday). We made an appointment for 1:30 pm that Sunday. My wife and I made arrangements to have our 3-year-old son dropped off with family, applied for a preapproval with our local credit union, and on Sunday made the hour and a half drive to the dealership. Upon arrival we were notified that Jason was finishing up with another customer, but the representative knew that we were there to see the Acadia and offered to unlock it so we could get in and see the interior while we waited. Here's where it goes sideways . . . a couple minutes later Jason came out and told us he had "good news and bad news." Apparently, someone had come in off the street 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment and was allowed to test drive the car we had come to see (the car we were sitting in at that VERY MOMENT). They were running numbers and would "let us know." We were kept hostage in that car for over half an hour (seriously, the alarm was armed in case we tried to get out), while they finalized the deal with the new buyer. Finally, we were kicked out and given confirmation that the deal was done and they didn't have anything comparable but would "love to show us some other options." Needless to say, at that point we had had enough. So, what are we left with? An entire wasted day, more miles on our trade-in, a hit on our credit report for the preapproval I went to the trouble of getting beforehand, and probably the worst customer service experience I had ever suffered. I WAS a long time Clyde Revord customer, I've bought two cars there and have always been happy. When my current car failed emissions I was given a list of over 20 shops I could take it to. When you fail emissions you take it to any approved shop and as long as you spend $150.00 to try to fix the issue you get a waiver so you can get your tabs. I knew the shop would need to run diagnostics since I had a check engine light on. The day of my appointment I called and spoke with someone about the issue, I explained my check engine light had been on since I bought it second hand because I didn't have a factory gas cap. The employee said "0h! Well that's why, we just need to put on a factory gas cap have you drive it for 100 miles and then re test, if it still doesn't work we can run diagnostics." That made sense so I brought it in, the guy at the counter poo pood my notion that it was the gas cap and said they needed to run 130.00 diagnostics. The guy made me feel like a dumb girl and so I agreed and left them the car. They called when they were done and advised it was the gas cap! My bill for the diagnostics and the new gas cap was over 200.00! I feel like I got ripped off! Their employee told me it was the gas cap! I feel like they just wanted to make money by running diagnostics. Needless to say I'll never go to Clyde Revord again! P.S I spoke with the service manager KC Eddinger afterward and he decided I didn't deserve a discount or a refund! read more

My husband and I went to this dealership to check out a vehicle we had seen online. We went for a test drive, checked everything out and told the salesperson what our "out the door" cost would need to be and what our monthly payment needed to be. We also told him that we were preapproved and that we would be putting down several thousand dollars cash. My husband made clear before we went inside that we would be under no obligation to buy the vehicle if they couldn't match the numbers that we discussed. Earlier, we had also discussed the "doc fee" (document fee) and the salesperson said he had never heard of it.The salesperson verified that information and was certain there wouldn't be a problem. We all went inside and filled out all the standard papers and once that was done, the salesperson left and when he came back, he had a deal for us! NOT!!! The price of the vehicle was not lowered, the monthly payment was $50 more than we said it needed to be. Then we were told if we took another year to pay the loan, the payment would be where we wanted it. That is not what we discussed outside, we were very specific. When looking over the paperwork, my husband noticed the previously mentioned "doc fee" on the paperwork. Remember, the salesperson said he had never heard of it! There it was, $150!! My husband told him once again, what we would pay and pointed out the "doc fee." Then, the guy gets cocky (I think he said he was 20) and said, "if I take that offer to "them," they'll just laugh! He said he could maybe take another $100 off, like that was a big deal. He goes off and here comes the second guy to help close the deal (like you see on tv) and we go through the details again with him. He shows my husband the "wholesale" price and says that's what they paid for it and my husband said that he knew that was not what they paid. (Been there, done that) He also says he can maybe get $100 off and maybe an oil change (my husband and son rebuild engines, we can take care of an oil change) but we decided to walk away from the "deal" as we felt like we were being jerked around. Oh, I forgot to mention that the first guy said if he ran our credit and didn't buy it, it would probably "ding" our credit which I guess he thought would make us nervous and we just better buy the vehicle. We didn't fall for that. My husband forgot to mention that on the internet, the same vehicle was shown with 2 different prices; they didn't even drop it down to the lowest price that still shows up online. Also, in doing some further checking on that vehicle, it doesn't show up as a "great deal" or even a "good deal." It shows up as a "fair deal." Interesting that it has 2 different prices for it online but the price offered to us wasn't even the lower of the 2. We have a son that works at a dealership (thankfully not as a salesperson) and we know the high pressure, sketchy techniques some dealerships use. We've had good experiences and bad; we know the tricks and are ready to walk away when they start pulling that sort of stuff on us! Their loss; we'll find another one. **UPDATE** Should have posted this sooner; we found what we were looking for at another dealership. Same year, bells and whistles, less miles, 1 owner, serviced regularly, in near perfect condition. No pressure sales, no games. Got the price we wanted, the monthly payment we wanted. So, here it is 1 month later and the vehicle we liked at Clyde Revord, is still there and my husband was called by the original salesperson and someone in customer service. They lost out on a sale and are still advertising the same vehicle. Guess they haven't had any luck selling it! read more

Let me share details: 1-I was about to purchase a $30,000 truck from this dealer however the salesperson " Jessie" kept high pressure on me to use their finance " or I would be penalized". 2-I always get pre-qualified with my credit union (because that is who I will use no matter what . ) they already have all my info and it is secure. 3- I was literally made to feel so uncomfortable by my sales guy. It was a stare down at the dealership - he mentioned if don't use their cuddle system "the price will not go down or I will not be able to negotiate the best price ." 4- I own my trade free and clear title in hand . Easiest deal. Beware this dealership will high pressure you to use their finance even if you already have preapproval with your bank! All they need to do is fax a PO! 5- Jessie called me and rudely told me: " they will give an additional $500 on my trade ONLY if I use their finance. (What the heck!?) Wow. Terrible pressure. "Terrible customer service. " Beware here-if you are someone less confident you would cave to their pressure. Unethical. In a day were identity theft is prevalent - the least amount you hand out personal info the better. Makes you wonder if some thing else is going on over there. I recommend these guys. Here's the story: We were in the market for a late model used crossover (a GMC Acadia if you care). There are a few variants out there and we'd researched the market very well (thank you Internet and Internet forums.) We initially looked at one vehicle in November but it had some repaired damage that we didn't like the look of. We then looked at another one in late December and liked it enough for them to let us have it overnight to evaluate it. However, we felt it was outside our price range, and didn't move forward. Fast forward to mid-January and that same vehicle was still available and $3k cheaper. I worked with Rob, the Internet sales guy, Miles one of the other sales guys and Dan, the sales manager, and ended up with a good deal. Drew, the finance guy, was great to work with and managed to score a better rate with my own bank than I could, which saves me $6/month (hey don't knock it... that's the cost of an XM radio subscription!) My pre-purchase inspection threw up a few issues, some covered under warranty and some not. They were great about getting these taken care of, including surprises like an extra set of keys with remote for no charge... So all in all, I'm really happy with the experience. Now remember, you're buying a car. Their job is to sell you what they have. Your job is to do your due diligence ahead of time and during the transaction: is it the right vehicle for you? can you afford it? what problems exist with that model and model year? what is its history? what works, what doesn't? how much tread is on the tires, etc? I rarely write a negative online view (I have done so once in the last 5 years), but I feel that I need to in this case. I had the worst experience in my life trying to test drive a truck at this place. 3 months ago I quit smoking on my 49th birthday, and part of my motivation was that after 3 months I would buy a truck. When I first quit, stopped by this place because it had good reviews to casually look at some trucks. I told the salesman that I was not interested in buying soon, and told him that I just wanted to look and that I would be in the market for a truck soon. I asked the salesman if he had time to show me a few trucks, and that I could come back at a later time as I had just quit my dumb habit and I was not ready to buy. The salesman, Trevor (I think) was great, he showed me a few trucks and introduced me to the manager. I told the manager the same thing and the manager spent about 10 minutes talking about the Canyon, which he had, and said that it might be a perfect fit. I told the manager that I would be back after 3 months, and he wished me good luck on breaking my smoking habit. So... 3 months later, and still smoke free, I stopped by. But my second experience was not the same. Today, I walked in, and Tom asked if I needed help. I asked Tom to look me up in his computer and refer me to the salesman that I worked with. Tom looked, and frowned and said 'you were here 3 months ago! And that salesman has already left'. He continued 'you can't expect the same salesman to be here after 3 months' ... 'we have a high volume and turnaround and if you're seriously looking you can't wait 3 months'. Tom continued the drone the same message. He did not say hi, where are you from, or make any other personal connection to me. He just seemed supremely annoyed that I would show up after 3 months and continued his spiel. I did my research before showing up, and asked him to test drive a Ram 1500. He said that this truck might be there, but it might be gone, and continued his irritated spiel again. It was as if he made an immediate assumption that since I was there 3 months ago that I was not serious about buying, and just wanted to take a joy ride or something. He said that he found it, and he was very irritated while we walked over to get the keys from the board. Even though the truck was newly listed on cars.com, and that he just found it in the computer database, Tom made a deliberate show of seeing if the keys to the truck were still on the board while he kept on saying 'this truck may already be sold', he looked for a bit, said he 'would be surprised if the truck was still there'. At last he said 'oh, here it is, but I am surprised that this truck is still here'. I was quite annoyed. His constant tirade about buying something fast got quite old. After hearing how I need to 'commit to buying' something nonstop for about 5 minutes, I told him to stop blowing smoke up my butt. I was sick of being rushed and I didn't want to deal with his irritation anymore. He looked at me and said that it wasn't smoke, and that if you did not buy something today that it could be gone, and looked around with disgust. Within seconds, he walked towards a younger salesman and flipped the keys to him and said, 'here, you give him a test ride', and walked away. I thought that it was quite demeaning, to myself, as well as the startled junior employee. I understand that what he said was true, that something can be sold if you don't buy it, but he didn't have to say the same thing for 5 minutes straight, he could have treated me like a human being rather than just being a quick sell. I am going to make a substantial investment on a truck that I want to keep for at least 10 years, I deserve to at least test drive a few trucks to determine what fits me best, and I don't need to be constantly pressured and rushed. I understand that I should not judge a dealership by the actions of one employee, but I have never had a worse experience than I had today. read more

I never thought I would give a used car buying experience 5 stars but I just did. My car was priced extremely well, the process went lightening fast and the follow up has been outstanding. I bought a 2015 Cadillac SRX and had a "we owe you" for a detail job after purchase. It hadn't been detailed yet at the time of purchase. Before the detail I noticed an odor that I didn't love so they included an ozone treatment with my detail, free of charge. Because I have a finicky nose I could still smell it a week later and Clyde Revord Motors gave me ANOTHER DETAIL and a longer ozone treatment. FREE OF CHARGE. I went to test drive a car I found online at this dealership. Everything went fine and I went home to discuss with my partner. They called me once or twice a day every day after I visited without leaving a voicemail. I made it clear to the salesman Jesse that I would not need financing and was planning on paying cash. One day, after having been called for the fifth time, Michelle actually had the decency to leave a voicemail. I called her back and we discussed the car. I asked for the best possible price out the door, agreed to it and made an appointment to come in two days later to purchase it. Day of, I get a call from Jesse saying they sold the car the night before, and he actually had the nerve to say "guess I'll have to find you something else now". No, Jesse. You will not be finding me something else. Besides the fact that you sold the exact car I was coming in to purchase, why the hell would I want anything to do with your dealership now? All in a span of 7 days. Incredibly disappointing experience. I can't even believe this happened. read more

This place is plain sketchy and I would avoid it at all costs. I found an Acura I was eager to look at but noticed they recently increased the price $2k when the initial price was already over KBB. I spoke with sales person Jessie, to see what was going on and he gave me some BS about the "market rate.' I pulled up the value on Edmonds, KBB, and NADA and the car was listed substantially higher than what they were valued at. I was also told the car had just gotten $1,000 of repairs done in the shop. The next day they offered a "sale" and decreased the car price, still higher than original price and way over what it was worth. I called the next day to schedule a test drive and was told by a girl that answered the car was on the lot and would be available for a test drive at anytime the next day. I asked her to double check to make sure I did not waste a trip. She then looked up my name and transferred me to Jessie in which I told Jessie I was interested and also asked about the "error' the radio was giving in the picture online. Jessie then told me that he knows nothing of the car, the $1000 repairs done and that the car would be in the shop for the next 4 days and that I couldn't test drive it after the long weekend (although it was on special for memorial day weekend). I questioned what work was being done and he said he knew nothing. I asked if he could find out and he said no, that information is not released. I asked to speak with Jessie's manager as I felt like I was not being told the truth and not given the best customer service. Jesse first told me his manager wasn't there and when I asked what his hours were and he changed his story to that his manager was busy and couldn't talk. I requested his manager call me and I asked him if he could call me before the end of the day, which he said he would. I never received a call but called the next day to see if the car was actually going to be in the shop . The lady that answered said the car was on the lot and available for test drive. When I asked if it was scheduled to be in the shop she did not know what I was talking about. It has been almost a week now without a call or response from Jesse's manager and the car is still available. Absolutely horrible customer service and I was obviously blatantly lied to by Jesse. There were many nice aspects of this sales deal but what prevents me from giving it a fan rating is this: our salesman Dan D. Gave us his word he would throw in roof racks and all weather mats for our BRAND new Denali. Least he could do as we bought it at full price. All other transactions were good and he is a nice enough guy but that showed me he lied and said whatever he needed to do to finalize the sale. Be wiry of this tactic. read more
