The clam and chips were goood but I had food envy of my buddy's fish n chips, so the next weekend I got some fish n chips instead. Soooooo good! I dive with a group of 4 sisters and they all loved the fish n chips as well. The fish is perfectly CGB - crispy golden brown. The fries are perfect. They offer lots of sauces, and you can get it to go if needed. My instructor always gets a burger and she really loves that burger, let me tell you. They are as fast as they can be, even for 5 orders of fish n chips, we did have to wait a little longer, but it was a 15-20 minute wait at most.

The food was abundant and pretty good. the loaded fries were a big hit. The biggest drawback IMO is the noisy "sports bar" atmosphere. Even though we were the only customers, the TVs were loud and chairs scraping and other noises echoed. I would get their food again, but order to go.

The crispy wonton chips were quite nice. Beer menu was slim, but they had one of my favorites... Mango Cart. If you want a refreshing fruited beer. This one is for you. Not quite 5 stars because the service was incredibly sloooooow. We were seated and not even provided a menu.

It wasn't just us. Other tables were unable to get their servers as well, just awkwardly sitting around with their finished food and no one to close out tab or take additional orders. Laughable.

I personally don't love smoothies (they often feel like mostly blended ice with fewer veggie benefits), and the green smoothie on the menu wasn't really what I was looking for, so that was a bit disappointing. They only serve regular black coffee, but the lady working there was super helpful and recommended going next door to Catalina Cookie Company if we wanted lattes, which we appreciated. Overall, a great spot for breakfast with excellent service and quality food. Would definitely come back!

We sat outside with a really nice view, the weather was warm and pleasant, and overall it just felt like a very relaxing birthday dinner by the water. We both ordered fish, and it was good. Nothing super unique or unforgettable, but definitely tasty. The oysters were also fresh and really enjoyable. The only thing that felt a little off was the service. The food took a while to come out, and different servers kept coming to the table, which made things a bit confusing at times and caused some mix-ups with our order. But overall, we still left with a good impression. They even brought out a birthday dessert for me at the end, which was a nice touch. I'd say it's a solid 4 stars for me. Not perfect, but definitely a nice spot if you're visiting Catalina.

My family and I came here on a Saturday afternoon after taking the ferry from Dana Point and we were seated pretty quickly. Unfortunately, we were seated right next to the bathroom, so there was constantly a line of people passing by our table the entire time we were eating. We ordered a couple of different items. I ended up getting their turkey bacon club sandwich with french fries, my mom got the tuna club sandwich, and my brother ordered one of their breakfast plates with waffles, eggs, and bacon. They do charge for water, but I think that's pretty common throughout Catalina Island since most places serve bottled water. The food came out within about 15-20 minutes and it was honestly pretty decent for what it was. You really can't mess up a turkey bacon sandwich, but the bread was crispy, buttery, and super good. I also loved the french fries they were super yummy and probably my favorite part of the meal. My mom's tuna sandwich was also really delicious, although both sandwiches leaned a little salty. I kind of wish they included a small side salad or lettuce with the meal, but overall everything was still really good. The service was pretty solid, especially considering how busy the restaurant was with people constantly coming in and out. The whole place has a very diner-style, old-fashioned vibe to it, which honestly fit the island atmosphere really well. Overall, I'd definitely come back here if I were visiting Catalina Island again. Solid food, quick service, convenient parking, and a classic diner feel. Definitely a 5/5 overall experience for me.

The bathrooms are on the 2nd floor of the restaurant, which we thought was interesting. Their menu doesn't list their non alcoholic beverages, like sodas or teas. Just ask the server and they'll list them. Also doesn't serve tap water, only bottled. I'd recommend everyone go to this place for sure when visiting Catalina Island!

The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty and the drinks refreshing. However... We ordered tacos separate from the excursion and after waiting almost 40 minutes never got them. It seems like our order was lost or given to someone else. We did get a refund, but it was frustrating and disappointing. We ended up just going back to the ship to eat. The food we did get was good, but we never got our tacos. For that reason we wouldn't come back on another trip.
